06/05/2026: Magnificent Abbey, even though I had the chance to visit it during an incredible 18th century themed evening with techno music (The Ladies' Conspiracy).

02/05/2026: The welcome is particularly warm, kind, and attentive. It's a site open to everyone, where everyone can enjoy their visit in a peaceful and pleasant setting. A wonderful discovery for families, which we wholeheartedly recommend. We will gladly return!

30/07/2026: We've been going there for 30 years, mainly for mussels and oysters, and occasionally for their famous pissaladières and tielles. A real treat, I highly recommend it.

27/07/2026: The friendliness was lacking. The dish was rather simple and the portion size... For the price, perhaps it's different for locals.

28/08/2026: I was lucky enough to snag the parking space that just opened up in front of the restaurant. It was a small room with a large TV screen, but the food was delicious and well-presented, and I had a lovely evening.

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful evening celebrating two birthdays. The restaurant was reserved exclusively for the event, and everything was very well organized (DJ Steph playing 80s hits and songs chosen by the two birthday boys and girls), appetizers, paella, three cakes, and impeccable service and hospitality! What a fantastic atmosphere until 1 a.m.! The 40 guests enjoyed a beautifully decorated and arranged setting in an intimate patio. Thank you to Lydia and Stéphane for their patience and understanding!

16/10/2026: It's an excellent place to try many varieties of crepes, both sweet and with sauces, as well as salads, all delicious. The crepes are made with a different kind of buckwheat flour. We tried the salads and the ham and cheese crepes—delicious! The staff was very friendly.

26/08/2026: A cold welcome on top of the not-so-warm outside temperature. We're still looking for the 4-star rating in the reviews. To begin with, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace facing the canal or on the regular terrace. Then, in the end, there was no choice. Because the tables set weren't the ones facing the canal, and they didn't want to set them for the arriving customers. Then, an unfriendly waitress who criticized customers as they left and spent her time complaining. The peach syrup is a challenge; try to find the peach in your glass. The starter was mediocre, €8 for half a plate. The charcuterie platter came from a Super U supermarket tray. Not worthy of an "Italian" restaurant. The goat cheese platter was good, but there was only one goat cheese croquette. The main courses were also mixed. The pasta carbonara wasn't carbonara. Just pasta with cream (very little) and bacon bits straight from a tray, barely cooked. Luckily, there was salt and pepper on the table to season it. It was better than it had been straight from the kitchen. And we were glad we had some because the table next to us didn't and asked for ours. The second course wasn't any better. Goat cheese and speck ham cannelloni. Without speck. Three tiny pieces of ham with fat practically fighting each other and tasteless goat cheese. You mostly taste the accompanying tomato sauce. It was also unpleasant to have our plates taken away as soon as we finished. A little more and they would have taken it away before we could even take the last bites. Philippe Etchebest should come and give cooking and service lessons. Because seeing the waiters and cooks go outside to smoke in front of you during service should not be acceptable. Nor a waitress who was unpleasant and turned away customers, practically shoving them from their tables. Even though there were still seats available and it was only 12:30 PM. Luckily, a waiter in a pink polo shirt raised the bar and the bill.

25/08/2026: Excellent little restaurant. Passing through for the holidays, the macaronade was fantastic. The service was also excellent. We'll be back.

20/08/2026: Good and hearty. Special mention for the shrimp spring rolls. My husband really enjoyed the caramel chicken.

23/07/2026: Homemade Vietnamese cuisine, four set menus including a vegetarian option, a lunchtime express menu, and two other menus at approximately €18 and €23, each with several choices. Excellent value for money, generous portions, everything makes you want to return. We were with a baby and everything went smoothly even without a dedicated changing table; the owner quickly and efficiently arranged a separate table for us.

01/10/2026: Appointment on time. Very pleasant doctor, explained things well. It's a shame that for the follow-up we have to go back to Haute-Savoie to the sports medicine doctor's orthopedic department... Thank you to the whole team for the quick appointment.

28/09/2026: What a terrible clinic, what appalling staff in the emergency room! I arrived on my own around 6:40 PM on a weekday evening after a fall and severe knee pain. The nurse, who was clearly disgusted, told me there was a 7-8 hour wait because there was only one doctor and they weren't making any progress! You call this an emergency?!

25/10/2026: This was my second visit to Sète, and it is so quiet and beautiful that it makes me want to live there after retirement. I wanted to enjoy the night view and have dinner, but there were so many restaurants that I didn't know where to go. Fortunately, there was an underground parking lot right in front (a bit expensive, 60 cents for 15 minutes), so I parked there and stopped by. It was as good as the Google ratings suggested. As expected, the owner was friendly and the staff worked hard; seeing that the place was fully booked at 8 PM on a Sunday gave me confidence in the quality. I enjoyed a simple seafood platter and a cuttlefish dish. A bottle of wine was 20 euros and was delicious, and the oysters were huge and fresh. Next time, I'm just going to order the oysters. For the cuttlefish, the owner recommended the stew over the grill, so I tried that, and it was tasty. However, since the cuttlefish comes in small pieces, if you want to enjoy the unique texture of the squid, I think you should go for the grilled version. If you go to Sète, don't hesitate to eat here!

17/10/2026: Chez François in Sète is a true paradise for fish and seafood lovers. We were particularly impressed by the selection of oysters and other seafood. Here, you can taste the proximity to the sea and the high quality of the products. The service was friendly, and the authentic atmosphere made our visit very pleasant. However, I have to deduct one star for the service: Unfortunately, we arrived another day to find the doors closed without any prior notice. This is rather annoying, especially for visitors and tourists, and should be communicated better. Despite this minor drawback, we can definitely recommend the restaurant because of its excellent fish and seafood specialties. We'll gladly come back! 🦪🐟🍷

26/05/2026: I was very surprised to read the previous reviews... We tried it and were won over!!! My husband, daughter, and I have been to "Pizzeria du Printemps" several times for pizzas and have never been disappointed. The wait time is very reasonable; we've never waited more than 20-30 minutes for our pizzas. Honestly, even with the rush and the high volume of orders, I still find them pleasant and friendly. Of course, you shouldn't expect a riot of smiles, but they have the merit of being themselves, sincere and natural. No forced smiles like so many others do! The pizzas are generously topped with a thin, perfectly cooked crust... and most importantly... they're delicious!!! We'll keep coming back, thank you!! Best of luck to you!!
