17/04/2026: We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the suite...very functional with a shower and a whirlpool bath. THANK YOU! The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine, but for us older folks, it was a bit too heavy, especially in the evening. They offer children's menus, which would be great, especially in the evening. Consider a lighter menu: soup and various vegetables, as well as a dairy dessert or a piece of fruit! Something to think about for seniors.

16/04/2026: The hotel is really only usable in the summer and when the sun is shining brightly enough. There's no heating system, and I wouldn't want to subject the air conditioning to the heat. When there's a storm, which we've had for the last 10 days, showering in the morning is a challenge. Despite this, I love the hotel because of its location by the sea and the Etang de Thau. Even though I ventilate constantly, there's always a musty smell in the room, as the moisture only dissipates when I ventilate vigorously. The air has improved somewhat since I started ventilating. The staff is helpful and friendly. However, there are language barriers with English. My French has improved as a result, which has made communication easier. Translator apps make life easier. The food is excellent and worlds better than at the neighboring hotel. Although there are days, like today, when a terrine with a baguette is dinner. The restaurant is closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings (off-season). They baked the baguette especially for me and served it free of charge. A nice touch. After 10 days, I'm practically part of the furniture. A great starting point for exploring Sète and visiting wineries to buy wine. Located almost perfectly on the motorway, which is virtually silent. Petrol is 20 to 40 cents cheaper than in Germany. Addendum: What I don't understand is why I haven't received a reply to my emails. 1. I forgot to bring a green fleece jacket and asked if it could be sent to me at my expense. No response. 2. Upon arrival, I had to pay in advance for the 10 days of my room booked through booking.com. Furthermore, my booking didn't seem to be on file. This was probably also due to language difficulties. For such basic matters, a hotel should have sufficient English language skills. Since I've recently traveled extensively throughout Europe and never had any language problems, this was quite annoying at times. My travel destinations were Sweden, Denmark, France, and Italy.

08/08/2026: Really nice burgers with fries! Combine this with a cold beer and your Saterday night is complete. Friendly staff!

08/08/2026: We waited an hour and a half before leaving the table without eating because the food still wasn't ready. There were nine of us... the servers were helpful and pleasant, but the problem wasn't with them.

A delicious meal and a wonderful culinary discovery with the aroma of a delicately grilled sauce. More than just a restaurant, it's a must-try! We highly recommend it. Nora and JC

29/07/2026: Terrible service, the meal was served cold, the butcher's cut was undercooked and frozen. The mussels were just shells, no sauce whatsoever. The Sète-style platter was cold and practically inedible. The waitress was unpleasant, never smiled, and once the service was over, they refused to acknowledge their mistake, completely ignoring any complaints. No compensation was offered. A disgrace for an establishment of this caliber.

28/07/2026: Disappointed, despite ordering the royal seafood platter! We were greeted by a serious but unpleasant waitress! Other customers arrived right after us, and the gentleman (who approached us outside) seated them before us because he knew them, giving them the best available table. He eventually moved us to another table. The issues with the waitress in question are shameful. We're supposed to be having a relaxing time... I don't recommend it and I won't be going back!

08/08/2026: A very good organic store. They have a nice selection of quality products at competitive prices. And a nice feature: a mineralogy section with beautiful raw and cut stones.

04/08/2026: I bought a tub of kefir today, and once I got home, I realized it expired on July 30th! It annoyed me, but I figured I'd just eat it quickly and oh well... only when I opened it, I realized it wasn't sealed (and so, obviously, after tasting just a tiny bit, I realized it was VERY spicy). Not a big deal this time, but I'll be especially careful from now on. I'm asked to check the products before selling them, because losing €4 as a student is really annoying.

10/06/2026: DO NOT STAY HERE. We were not expecting much given the bad Google reviews and the low cost (although still close to €100 a night). But the unthinkable happened: around 9:30am someone opened our room door without knocking. We were absolutely stunned and the cleaning person didn’t even apologise or anything, they just closed the door back and left. Plenty of other choices in the city — don’t waste your time here.

06/06/2026: I don't understand why the rating is so low. The hotel has been completely renovated, the rooms are spacious and clean, there's a dressing room, and an entrance vestibule that isolates you from the noise of the hallway and bathroom. The beds are comfortable. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the city; it's right in the city center, next to Polygone shopping center, and the Place de la Comédie parking lot is just steps away. The breakfast is simple but excellent. I recommend this hotel; it deserves a higher rating.

13/07/2026: Hello, We've been coming to eat here for two days now. Yesterday we came, the service was very good, but for dessert I ordered a tiramisu and it was runny. We figured it wasn't a big deal, so we got a refund. The next day we came back and ordered another tiramisu, and it was runny again. Otherwise, the service was very good overall.

09/06/2026: This is my first time at this bakery. I bought two specialty breads (I tried one tonight, it was amazing, excellent!) It's the first time I've ever tasted such good bread. I can't remember the name, but it was a fairly dark round loaf. The cakes are beautifully presented, a bit pricey in my opinion. I'll buy some next time to see. The service was fine, nothing special. Overall, I recommend this bakery for the bread.

26/07/2026: Since the first owner, every time I've gone it's been a disaster. The staff isn't up to scratch, the food is mediocre, the meat comes from the European Union or is halal, who knows? So I've been three times, but frankly, zero/zero.

28/05/2026: This hotel is not bad, with clean rooms and window blinds. Change was the pool was covered in green slimes, and the EV charging stations (benefit of the hotel), being blocked off for 12+ hours by cars of customers parking at the meant that we could not charge the car, resulting to more hassle to us.

28/07/2026: We often go to the office. It's a bistro-style place with a limited but sufficient menu. The food is excellent and the service is always top-notch, with friendly and cheerful waiters. It's our cozy little spot before or after a movie.
