18/05/2026: Good hotel when you are on the go. It had a swimming pool, fitness room. A lot of rooms and good park space for your car. I've stayed here for one night, the receptionist in the evening did not speak english, but as always you will get around the standard check in process. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was simple but good. For the price at the the time in May, for a cheap room, you get everything you may expect to enjoy the rest of your trip!

26/07/2026: Nice restaurant, but not worth the price. For the aperitif, they were out of passion fruit coulis and replaced it (without any compensation). The service was also mediocre; the meat arrived without the sauce (after a several-minute wait), and we ate our dessert with teaspoons. Clearly, the price paid was not worth what we ate.

21/07/2026: An excellent place! The playlist immediately sets the mood, and the food is a pure delight from appetizer to dessert. A big thank you for this perfect moment.

18/07/2026: Great restaurant, I highly recommend it! Very friendly waiter and delicious food, the value for money is unbeatable! (I especially recommend their soup with ravioli, I loved it).

10/08/2026: Absolutely terrible experience. We came with our three kids and asked for a table for five. We were standing right in front of a table for four and simply asked them to add one chair. The staff “looked” for a chair and claimed they didn’t have one while we could literally see another chair nearby. It was obvious they simply didn’t want to seat us. We felt extremely unwelcome and disrespected. Shameful service.

07/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant I discovered this evening with my son. We each had a tagine, and they were truly delicious and generous portions. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor was lovely, and the wonderful aromas transported us to another place. I'll definitely be back.

25/02/2026: We've been coming here for several years and it's always been perfect, but things have changed drastically since then. We came in January and really appreciated the waitress's attentiveness; she spontaneously offered us more sauce when she saw we were running low. A true sense of service! During our recent visit in February, again just the two of us, the experience was completely different. The waitress wasn't there. The sauce bowl was still minimal: we quickly found ourselves without sauce and with dry couscous. When we asked for more, we were brought a small bowl with a few pieces of carrot (5 or 6). After 9:45 pm, when there were only two of us left in the restaurant, we clearly felt rushed to finish. The owner, whom I found cold, was obviously waiting for us to finish before closing, even going so far as to clear the table while I hadn't finished. The result: a rushed meal in less than an hour, at 10:30 pm! And a stomach ache when we left!! The unpleasant surprise (which I only realized later) came with the bill: €4.80 charged for an extra "vegetables" corresponding to the sauce I ordered, without this being mentioned beforehand. I've always wholeheartedly recommended this restaurant to everyone I know, but this time it was a real disappointment.

21/08/2026: Huge disappointment What a disappointment this meal at Castor Bellux was! It all started with the Sex on the Beach: a completely bland cocktail, tasting like water with syrup. A far cry from the cocktail I was expecting. I then ordered tagliatelle bolognese. Imagine my surprise when the bolognese arrived with cream! Personally, I hate cream, and for me, a bolognese absolutely doesn't need it. So I couldn't eat my dish. I then opted for a Neapolitan pizza… and there, another disappointment: the crust was way overcooked, the toppings very thin, no black olives, and, worst of all, the anchovies in vinegar completely overpowered everything else. It really felt like the toppings were minimal. I didn't finish my pizza, it was so bad. I then tried the profiteroles. Again, very disappointing: runny chocolate simply spread on the plate, two small, tasteless cream puffs, each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that had virtually no flavor. I didn't finish it either. In the end, I enjoyed almost nothing about this meal and left extremely disappointed. It's all the more unfortunate because we chose this establishment after taking the time to research it and we were really expecting better. It was also quite noisy. Personally, I absolutely do not recommend it. I have never eaten such bad pizza and profiteroles.

18/07/2026: Very disappointed. Frankly, I don't understand the good reviews. The chicken was dry and barely marinated, with no real flavor. The salad was basic and stale, and the fries were mediocre. The worst part is the value for money: the portion size is far too small for the price. On top of that, the service was unpleasant, and you get the impression that you're bothering them. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. I won't be back, and I don't recommend this place.

22/05/2026: I come to Rennes from time to time to see a friend, and we always stop at this bar; the owners are very welcoming, and the place is great, whether you're on the terrace or inside :)
