10/09/2024: Quiet and beautiful restaurant with chill out ambient music and books and comics to consult. The service is very friendly and they serve quickly. The Galettes are of good quality and with top ingredients and of course delicious. The cider is exquisite too. We asked if instead of having a crepe with wheat flour we could order one with buckwheat for dessert (since I have a sensitivity to gluten) and there was no problem.

07/09/2024: Very good pizzeria with a lot of choice (also choices in pasta and other small dishes). The service and setting are friendly. The pizza dough is very thin which avoids being completely filled just with the pizza and leaves room for dessert for those with a sweet tooth like me. If we were to come back to the area I would definitely come back :)

18/10/2024: We were placed in a room where very noisy workers ate, even though we were vacationers, we still needed a much quieter place and not a specially workers' menu. When we entered the restaurant on the On the left there was a room with very few people and we would have liked to have been offered this room rather than having to impose the other one on us.

09/09/2024: Following a more than atypical welcome, I thought that it was better before, and the waiter had the audacity to respond: “𝐂̧𝐚, 𝐜'𝐞́𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭”. What class... Perhaps the clientele falls from the sky in the summer, thanks to the reputation gleaned in the past. But with such quality of service and the normal difficulties linked to a change of owners ⚠️, A reputation is preserved where it is lost. On this morning when friendliness and good nature were at half mast, we still had two different tables leave your terrace without consuming. We, who liked to end our Sunday stroll at your place, we are going to change route for a moment before coming back... or not.

28/08/2024: I occasionally had lunch at Le Cancalais in Saint-Malo, but my last experience was disappointing. Sitting on the terrace with a friend, I asked for a specific drink that the waiter didn't have, which wasn't a problem. I then ask him if he has a card, and he replies curtly: “I don’t have a card, and I don’t have the drink you’re looking for.” » I thank him, specifying that I had understood correctly from the first time, but his next response left me perplexed by its condescending tone: “I can answer all your questions though…”. When I ask him what else he can offer us, he persists with the same snide attitude, repeating that he can answer my questions. Finally, I decided to leave without using; out of the question of giving them my money after such a welcome. As I was leaving, I mentioned that it was better before, and the waiter had the audacity to respond, “That was before.” The class…

24/10/2024: Good morning, A great place, very well located, in front of the abbey. Ambiance, such a quiet place to relax. This is the place for the locals. Not to be missed.

03/09/2024: Little trip to Jean Bon, I had heard a lot of good things about him. in fact, the sandwich is really good, the products are fresh, the pulled pork is of great quality, the side dishes are garnished, the desserts are top notch. HOWEVER, seeing the boss, without gloves, making sandwiches after having smoked a cigarette on the terrace and crushing it in the ashtray, touching the menus and clearing them for other tables, fingers in the plates, sweating (real sweat, not the little light drops...), then scratch our foreheads and continue making our sandwiches, before bringing them to us as if nothing had happened.... In short, complicated for us to act as if nothing had happened. 'was, and to fully enjoy our meal. More than a mixed experience therefore.

03/09/2024: This is a little house where you can enjoy yourself! A lover of culinary shows, I discovered this shop thanks to Emmanuelle Jary and Mathieu Pansard and I must say that I was not disappointed with the trip. There are few street foods where you can look forward to feeling even better when you leave than when you arrived. Here, it's done! A sandwich as delicious as it is inventive, available for everyone in halal and vegetarian versions, with good Breton products and served by an efficient and bubbly young woman (thanks Kelly ;). In the kitchen, the chef behind the project offers tasty and finely prepared daily specials, all in a good, communicative mood. When will we see a Jean Bon near the stations of Brittany? This would console us for the usual chains which sadly standardize our landscapes and our taste buds... A small one which could well overshadow the big ones! Thank you good people!

13/08/2024: 2nd experience unfortunately it's really not good very fatty I had a burger... I just vomited after a good indigestion too bad the waiter was very correct but the kitchen lousy I really don't recommend and I would never go back there- down !
