26/08/2026: Despite the reviews, I wanted to form my own opinion. I tasted many dishes and was very disappointed by most of them. At best, they were bland; at worst, they tasted stale. It was impossible to eat the peppered prawns after smelling the odor they gave off after being peeled. The shrimp were mushy and questionable... The fried food seemed like it had been refried the day before. The wok dish was okay, but nothing special. The service was decent, but the restrooms were awful. For the price (around €23 on weekday evenings), it's a disgrace. I much prefer going to Délices d'Asie, which admittedly has fewer options, but the dishes are much fresher and of far better quality. PS: Vegetarian friends, steer clear.

06/07/2026: **Rating: 5/5 – A magical interlude and exceptional dining!** Honestly, excellent! The hotel truly lives up to its name and reputation; it's a standard worthy of a superb 4-star establishment. I was lucky enough to go when it was practically empty, which made the experience magical, as if the spa were private. My absolute favorite: the outdoor jacuzzi nestled in the heart of the forest—it was simply magnificent. The rest of the facilities (sauna, hammam) are impeccably clean. A big thank you also for the complimentary tea room, which offers a wide selection of delicious local and artisanal teas. The service is very responsive: the kettle was out of order that day, and I was immediately brought a beautiful cast-iron teapot with a smile. A huge congratulations to the chef of "La Table de François," who deserves a gold trophy! I highly recommend dining there: the cuisine is exceptional, with unique flavors I've never tasted anywhere else, all at unbeatable prices. A huge thank you to the entire kitchen team and the servers, you're all fantastic! My only slight criticism concerns the hotel reception, which could be clearer: the room key card system is a bit confusing, and more details about the spa could be provided (specifying that there's no need to bring a bathrobe as everything is provided, but that you should bring your own slippers as they are not). You leave feeling completely refreshed. I recommend it 200%, an exceptional stay!

05/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed the menu. The food was excellent, and the waitress's suggestions were top-notch – pleasant, smiling, and attentive. It was a truly relaxing experience in a magnificent setting that invited contemplation. We'll definitely be back.

17/07/2026: We were there at lunchtime, just the two of us. The rooms were very pleasant, with a very comfortable and relaxed dining area in the back. The service was very friendly, there was a good selection of food and drinks, a good wine recommendation, and the prices were absolutely fair! A great place for lunch or dinner!

27/05/2026: Overall, a rather mixed experience at the Rennes Food Market. It's incredibly crowded, with long waits at some stalls, and it's difficult to find a place to eat. The quality of the stalls is very inconsistent: some sandwiches were literally inedible, others were good, but nothing truly exceptional. Often, there's far too much bread compared to the filling. The prices are also quite high for the quality/quantity offered. And ultimately, many of the concepts are similar: a lot of fairly standard, very greasy "street food" sandwiches and burgers. The atmosphere is nice at first, but it quickly becomes a bit overrated, very "hipster Rennes at the Doberman Palace": a lot of hype for food that is sometimes quite mediocre.

16/01/2026: The food was truly awful. The knives served were full of sand (so they hadn't been washed), basically garbage. The lobster was lukewarm, as was its side dish, and the wait was incredibly long even though the restaurant was only three-quarters empty.

07/01/2026: Great restaurant. A warm welcome and excellent service. The waitresses and waitresses were lovely and patient despite our large group. The food was very good, and the ingredients were very fresh. I highly recommend it.

31/05/2026: We arrived this morning for coffee, and the manager of the Querrien hotel-restaurant told us the coffee machine wasn't working! It was 9:00 AM, and the hotel guests were enjoying their breakfasts. Our disappointment was matched only by our initial, indescribable joy... So, a word to those who value kindness, respect, and professionalism: AVOID the Querrien in Cancale without hesitation. The welcome is a disgrace, and on top of that, it's delivered with arrogance and an oversized ego! Fortunately for us, just a few meters away, we were received with the utmost respect.

07/06/2026: Quick service, a bland buffet: cucumber with cream, no salt, pepper, or chives... homemade fries, desserts, and ingredients of very average quality... It's a shame; taxes are crushing our restaurants, which influences the choice of products used.

24/06/2026: I arrived first, waited at the bar, and two people went ahead of me. At the tobacco shop right next to me, she served the two people before me, which is normal; generally, it's first come, first served, which is logical. I find it disrespectful.

09/07/2026: The restaurant is tastefully and simply decorated, and very welcoming. The owner is very friendly and warm. The free-range chicken in cider sauce was a delightful culinary discovery, and the mashed potatoes were amazing! Excellent value for money! The restrooms were impeccably clean (which is often indicative of the state of the rest of the establishment).

07/06/2026: Pleasant restaurant and friendly welcome. Lunch outdoors. Set menu for 16 people. Good quality meat (flank steak). Great parking for motorcycles.

07/06/2026: A family meal where everyone found something they liked on the menu. The meat (ribeye and prime rib) was of very high quality, cooked with care and expertise. The pizzas had a thin crust and were perfectly topped (not too much, not too little). The chicken and hamburgers were also very popular. We will definitely return, especially since the staff is very welcoming and pleasant, and the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful evening on the spacious, beautifully lit terrace.

24/06/2026: I'm disappointed by what you can offer for €46: a plate of salad and a pseudo-pizza. It's pathetic.

09/06/2026: An exceptional and special gem of a restaurant. The owner is passionate about the amazing food they serve. Highly recommend the fondue, and truffled spaghetti tossed in a wheel of Pecorino table side. Hope to visit again soon!
