16/08/2026: A very nice and cozy hidden gem of Dol De Bretagne. We were served by a woman in a floral green sundress, who had a bright smile and a great attitude. She was very sweet and understanding of our requests like no cheese or bacon. The food was here in less than 5 minutes and tje drinks were here in even less. I was sadly dissapointed by the chicken burger. It was covered in seeds and tasted pretty bad overall. But i loved the atmosphere here and will definitely return when i visit Dol again! update: we just ordered dessert - excited!! update 2: the dessert was absolutely delicious! I definitely reccomend the kinder cookie!

25/07/2026: The drinks were nice but out waitress had a big attitude and was drowning 24/7. We were seated next to a storm drain which smelled terrible. They also charged us more than what the menu said it would cost us. NOT SATISFIED

25/07/2026: Poorly received by the manager. We wanted a small snack, but we were turned away. No room, no solution offered. The cinema staff are much nicer and more helpful. Go to Patates et Compagnie instead; they're much friendlier.

25/10/2026: I ordered an "extreme" meal deal today around 12:15 PM. My sandwich was missing bacon. I'm not one to complain, but this is the second time in a row that I've come here and ingredients are missing from my sandwich or items in my order. The service was much better 4-5 years ago, and it's clear that it's been declining for the past few years.

24/10/2026: Nothing's going right... One time they forgot my order and I had to explain myself because I didn't take all the tickets from the kiosk, it's my fault... Today the buns were stale, hard, and cold, and the wrap was a stale galette...

07/09/2026: The meal was quite decent and good value for money on the €16 set menu. However, we were very disappointed when the bill arrived. There were two of us, and we also ordered a half-pint of beer and a glass of Chardonnay. The bill came to €43, without any itemized breakdown. Finding the amount rather high compared to the advertised price of the meal, we asked for a receipt after paying, simply to check the details. Our request was refused on the grounds that the receipt should be requested before payment. We find this practice regrettable. When a customer simply wants to know the details of what they have paid for, it seems reasonable to be able to provide them with a receipt, even after payment. It's a shame, because we enjoyed our meal and the initial welcome was positive. But the lack of transparency regarding the bill and the refusal to provide us with a receipt ultimately left us with a rather negative impression of the establishment.

It was served in just 1 hour and 30 minutes at a very reasonable price. Thank you to the entire team. Highly recommended restaurant.

23/10/2026: Passing through Rennes with colleagues for professional training. We started looking for an Asian restaurant and came across "Le Lotus d'Asie." A classic, simple, but efficient all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seating to accommodate a large number of people, and the decor is pleasant, perfectly matching the restaurant's theme. The buffet is located in the center of the restaurant, conveniently situated for quick and easy access. They offer a wide variety of dishes, typical of Asian restaurants, including fried foods, cold dishes, and wok dishes. I have nothing negative to say about it; it was delicious. My only slight complaint is the dessert selection; I think there's a real lack of variety... I recommend it!

07/10/2026: I stopped by late in the evening to pick up a TooGoodToGo voucher for €6 (face value €18). At the counter, they handed me a tray with about fifteen maki rolls and one piece of sushi—that's a hefty price for unsold items! I left the measly tray and decided not to eat dinner... pure robbery! And don't even get me started on the presentation; the maki rolls were crammed together in an aluminum box. The experience would have been less painful and more delicious if I'd cooked 200g of rice and eaten two avocados on the side. The shopkeeper didn't even try to offer any kind of compensation. I wasn't really surprised; maybe he's used to it. Avoid this restaurant!

22/09/2026: Excellent pastry shop! The pastries are quite pricey but very good and made with quality ingredients! I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

17/09/2026: Today I tried a mango and coconut pastry (I can't remember the name), but I couldn't finish it because it was so sweet, just like the éclairs I'd tried before. I didn't try the other pastries (I always hear good things about the macarons), but I think it would be a good idea to reduce the sugar in some of them; I felt like I was getting a cavity right there in front of me.

11/12/2025: A fantastic place, I highly recommend it! The food is excellent. The galettes and crêpes range from classic to more original creations I've never seen anywhere else. The artisanal cider is also excellent; we were able to try two kinds. I won't say any more and will let you discover it for yourselves—the owner will be delighted to serve it to you. To top it all off, the staff is lovely and very friendly. The interior is warm and authentic. I will definitely be back.

10/12/2025: A very good crêperie opposite the cathedral. The setting is calm and charming. The menu is very varied, with daily specials that are well worth trying. They also offer extremely good dry ciders. A great find.

27/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had dinner at the Castel last night, and we have nothing but praise for it. The welcome, the kindness of the owner, and the excellent cuisine were all outstanding! We will definitely return if the opportunity arises!

06/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! We wanted to try something different from our usual restaurant and we were very pleased. The buffet isn't as extensive as some other all-you-can-eat buffets, but the quality more than makes up for it. The service is impeccable. It was the first time in ages that we were offered hot towels at the end of our meal. Perfect! 👍 We will definitely be back.
