15/06/2026: We had a quiet and peaceful dinner there during the week. Takeout is available in addition to the dishes on display. The portions are generous and delicious. There's a wide variety of choices.

25/07/2026: The drinks were nice but out waitress had a big attitude and was drowning 24/7. We were seated next to a storm drain which smelled terrible. They also charged us more than what the menu said it would cost us. NOT SATISFIED

21/07/2026: Well... What can I say?! It's not the first time I've melted over his burger... wow, my mouth is watering! My apologies, Doctor! I forgot to mention that I couldn't resist the desserts either! (And understandably so.) Every time I'm in Dol, I allow myself this little indulgence, but I have to admit, it's worth it! And what's more, the owner is friendly and welcoming... So, bikers, if you want to forget about your diet for a bit, go for it, because he's a biker too! Happy riding, everyone!

11/12/2025: A fantastic place, I highly recommend it! The food is excellent. The galettes and crêpes range from classic to more original creations I've never seen anywhere else. The artisanal cider is also excellent; we were able to try two kinds. I won't say any more and will let you discover it for yourselves—the owner will be delighted to serve it to you. To top it all off, the staff is lovely and very friendly. The interior is warm and authentic. I will definitely be back.

10/12/2025: A very good crêperie opposite the cathedral. The setting is calm and charming. The menu is very varied, with daily specials that are well worth trying. They also offer extremely good dry ciders. A great find.

16/08/2026: Excellent all-you-can-eat buffet. I'd like to add something: Having worked in the restaurant industry, I find you very efficient! Everything runs smoothly; frankly, you do a great job. You're the same in every situation, charming, and congratulations on that, sincerely! Thank you.

09/08/2026: Personally, I went there yesterday at lunchtime with my niece. We don't understand some of the comments. We found that for a Chinese restaurant, the dishes were more than adequate and tasty. We don't understand why people say it's not clean. For us, it was clean, and the staff cleaned regularly. We were right next to the buffet and we noticed that the staff weren't there to monitor what we put on our plates, contrary to some comments we'd seen, but rather to check if the dishes were empty or not. It wasn't as noisy as people say. We were able to talk and hear each other. Admittedly, there was quite a bit of noise. But you have to understand that the layout of the tables, buffet, bar, and kitchen couldn't be arranged any other way. Keep in mind that it's the middle of the summer holidays, so it fills up quickly, but it's not as noisy as some people claim. We thought it was well-maintained for a restaurant that's been around for a while. Finally, the staff were very pleasant, smiling, and kind. P.S.: The cocktail prices are reasonable. We've seen Chinese restaurants much more expensive than that. We don't understand the negative reviews. Were we just lucky? I doubt it.

24/07/2026: I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee or lunch break before your train or during your layover. I received a wonderfully warm welcome at this establishment located right across from the train station. Excellent value for money!

01/06/2026: A friend and I got smoothies, and they were just undrinkable puree. We had to ask her for a teaspoon; even the fruit flavor wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend them.

13/07/2026: We had dinner at Oliveto with friends this evening. The pizzas were generous, made with fresh ingredients and had an excellent thin crust! The manager was very kind and pleasant. Highly recommended 🙏.

19/07/2026: Attentive and professional staff. The starters (oysters and fish soup) and main courses (mussels with Roquefort cheese, mussels Malouine style, and pan-seared scallops) were generous and of high quality. A very pleasant experience!

12/08/2026: This evening during the eclipse, we received a very warm welcome with smiles 😉😉😉. The drinks were very cold with ice cubes 👍👍👍, as was the carafe of water. I've eaten at many different Asian restaurants, and I have to rank this one number 1 (L'Étoile de Saint-Malo). The atmosphere is intimate and simple, and the food is truly excellent, especially the steamed dishes. Atmosphere: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 Desserts, especially the ice cream: 10/10 If you're passing through Saint-Malo, I highly recommend having a meal there. 04/08/2026: Very quiet. Nice atmosphere. Small buffet, so less choice, but the quality is there. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the staff are super friendly and smiling. It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed.

07/08/2026: After a long 6-hour drive, I ate a meal consisting of a burger. Towards the end of the meal, I felt slightly unwell. The bread was decent, but overall, according to my friends and family, the meal was rather mixed. The atmosphere was still alright, though.

25/07/2026: Poorly received by the manager. We wanted a small snack, but we were turned away. No room, no solution offered. The cinema staff are much nicer and more helpful. Go to Patates et Compagnie instead; they're much friendlier.
