05/05/2026: Very good pizzas, ordered by phone, nothing to complain about.

23/04/2026: Honestly, the pizza was good and the service was pretty fast, but after eating the large pizza, I wanted to go to the restroom to relieve myself. But when I got to the restroom, I was shocked to see urine on the floor—just a few drops, but it still embarrassed me. So I left without paying and went to the Action store next door to hide in an aisle where no one was around before I relieved myself in the electronics section. Honestly, maybe a customer had gone in before me. I don't blame you; I know you can't be everywhere at once and you can't check every time a customer goes to the restroom because there might be strong odors. It's true that it embarrassed me a lot, and then I received a summons because they had identified me on the Action security cameras while I was defecating in public. Nothing too serious, but unfortunately I made a mistake because of it, I lost my job. I'm giving it five stars because the pizza was actually quite good.

18/12/2025: Get Philippe Etchebest here! It's a kitchen nightmare! Uncomfortable seating, long wait, bland food—only the fries are decent and redeem the place.

17/04/2026: From the moment we arrived until we left, the constant beeping from the kitchen equipment was deafening. Not a second went by without a beep. It was simply appalling for both the staff and the customers. These working and service conditions must be denounced.

We were very well received and given good explanations, however the room wasn't very clean, and as previously mentioned, there was a strong odor in the bathroom... the only thing that was fine was the beds (thankfully). The location is ideal and quiet with ample parking, and the breakfast offers a good selection. Wi-Fi, Canal+, and coffee/tea pods are provided in the rooms.

15/04/2026: Honestly, I'm very disappointed. The food wasn't good at all, and on top of that, the staff were rude to customers, which is completely unacceptable. The worst part is that I've even found hair in my food... the hygiene is appalling. I definitely don't recommend it.

12/04/2026: The cashier was really nice. I only gave the ambiance three stars because it's quite cramped if you want to eat there. The food itself was good, but I expected a slightly larger portion for the price, especially since it also appeared larger on the screen.

27/04/2026: A very disappointing experience! The staff is impolite, doesn't say hello, and doesn't respond when you say goodbye. And the food? We ordered a bland club sandwich with three slices of egg and not even a chicken fillet. I strongly advise against going there! Avoid at all costs!!

15/04/2026: La Paix: a Rennes institution! We left the city some time ago, after living there for many years. What a pleasure to rediscover this iconic place. The decor has been modernized; it's magnificent. The owner and all the staff give a warm welcome to every guest. A lovely and varied brasserie menu. Delicious food! We had a wonderful evening; thank you to the whole team!

05/04/2026: The misleading advertising: The CBO raclette? Soggy... well, not at all, actually. It looks like two slices of dry Gruyère on a steak. And above all, the price: €11 and change. Long gone are the days of an 80-cent burger. Long gone are the days when you could get a full meal for €10. And long gone are the days when everything was piping hot. Now, you pay for cold food half the time and for burgers designed to cost you €11 with absolutely no flavor.

24/01/2026: I tried three pastries. None of them were good. And I'm not usually picky. They all had an off taste. I ordered a dark hot chocolate that was supposedly homemade. They added cinnamon to it even though I didn't ask for it. It was just milk and Nesquik. So there's nothing homemade about it. I strongly advise against going there unless you want to waste your money. I'm never going back. €25 down the drain!

13/03/2026: I've eaten lunch at this restaurant several times in a row and I've never been disappointed. The welcome is always very warm. The dishes are generous, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. I highly recommend it!

22/02/2026: We went to Bar du Centre yesterday because we were at the Saturday market and our usual café was closed for the holidays. We sat outside and I waited. Another couple came and sat near the entrance. The waiter came out and took their order but ignored us. He brought out their drinks but went straight back inside. He poked his head out again a few minutes later but still didn't come near us. So we left. You don't mind waiting to be served, but you don't mind being ignored. As we were walking away, I looked back and the waiter had gone to our table to put the chairs back, so we weren't invisible! This was our second visit to this bar. I think the last time was a few years ago, on a Sunday, so not many places were open. We sat inside then, but the service was bad. We were hoping that in the meantime, there might have been a change in staff or that they might have improved. Don't think for a second that we'll go a third time.

29/12/2025: Excellent unexpected stop! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On our way to Brittany on Ascension Thursday, stuck in traffic, we stopped in Dol-de-Bretagne for lunch. After searching for an open restaurant with available seats, we stumbled upon the Bar du Centre. A warm welcome 👋, a simple menu, and reasonable prices 👍, with even a children's menu perfect for our 3-year-old daughter! We enjoyed delicious dishes (salmon bruschetta, croque-madame, and ham and fries 🍟), followed by delightful desserts 🍰. The service was quick ⏱️ and efficient despite the late hour (2 pm 🕑). A very pleasant surprise ❤️, we highly recommend it and will definitely return if the opportunity arises! Update from 29/12/2025: We returned during August 2025 and the welcome was still excellent :)
