21/08/2026: My father is disabled, uses a wheelchair, and has bandages on his legs. Not only did he receive a cold pizza, but the manager had the nerve to call him after the delivery to criticize him for not wearing trousers to receive the delivery driver (my father was in his underwear). It was the middle of a heatwave. She told him he would no longer receive deliveries from them. The person who dared to humiliate him like that has no empathy or dignity.

14/07/2026: We were extremely disappointed with our order: there was no one in the restaurant, so the nuggets fell on the floor and were put back in the box when they arrived (luckily my husband saw and asked for them to be replaced). The fries were undercooked, and the pizzas were very bland. In short, we do not recommend this restaurant.

30/08/2026: The place is clean, the staff very friendly and welcoming. There's a lot of choice and the products are generally of good quality; I recommend it.

18/07/2026: A restaurant we tried about ten years ago. The homemade fries are still just as good! The scallops were perfectly seared. The €36 set menu is very generous and offers a nice selection of dishes. My family tried the veggie salad, which was a real success. There were many vegetarian options, but none for vegans... Our various servers were very friendly, and despite three items being missing (one salad, one mozzarella, and one crème brûlée), they tried to find a solution. The crème brûlée wasn't lukewarm, though (a shame), and the foie gras was a bit bland (it all depends on your taste): brioche toast with just a slice of foie gras on top would have been perfect. The prices are a bit high, but in my opinion, justified. The service was a little slow, however, and our neighbors, who were on their phones too often, were a bit annoying... Nevertheless, a very pleasant family meal.

26/07/2026: A great place if you love Asian food! The dishes are delicious and generous; you can easily eat your fill for around twenty euros. The service is quick and the staff is very attentive, with thoughtful touches like crisps with your aperitif, complimentary whipped cream with your ice cream, etc. A very good experience; I'll gladly return!

22/07/2026: The food was excellent, but the service lacked attention and even consideration at our table. Several requests were ignored despite the restaurant being nearly empty.

26/06/2026: The staff were smiling and welcoming, however, the Thai rice was extremely dry and difficult to eat, the caramel chicken (without caramel, and very runny and tasteless), and the coconut milk, banana, and tapioca pearl dessert was far too sweet; we couldn't even finish it. Finally, the prices were much too high for the quality of the food. The rest of the food we bought was quite good. Overall, a rather mixed experience.

02/05/2026: We were devoted customers of La Florentine for 20 years until the owner's retirement this summer. We wanted to try the new version with the change of ownership. New decor. Brand new tables, chairs, and lighting. So far, so good. New menu. And what a disappointment! Very little choice. Prices have skyrocketed and are worthy of the French Riviera. €19.50 for the salmon galette. The same for the scallop one. Gone are the Mots Bleus, which we loved. The cider has doubled in price... We order what's left within our budget. Upon arrival, another disappointment. The galette arrives at the same time as the cider and peanuts. So much for an aperitif. The corners of the galette are dry and cold. The galette is stuck to the plate. Only the center remains soft and slightly warm. The clearly visible, pre-packaged slice of ham isn't very appealing either. We have music playing in our ears. We can't hear each other anymore. We move on to dessert. Opening the menu, the prices of the crêpes stop us in our tracks once again. We order ice cream, which is cheaper. The tables have turned. Cruel disappointment. We've lost our favorite, and so friendly, crêperie. May 2026 update: We knew that at these prices, it couldn't last in St. Gilles. The result this month: a change of name and transformation into a brasserie. What a waste! The loss of such a good crêperie and therefore a part of our culture.

29/04/2026: It's slow, it's cold, the waiter should know how to take criticism and not roll his eyes. There are hardly any crêpes or galettes left... for a crêperie, that's a shame! The change of ownership is painful for the regulars.

17/08/2026: When delivered, it's almost cold; I can understand that because I live far away, but they need to make an effort with the fries: undercooked, so cold and raw when they arrive.

04/04/2026: The owner was very welcoming, no complaints there. However, the value for money is very disappointing. The pizzas lack flavor and toppings. At this price point, a supermarket pizza might seem higher quality and better. It's a shame, because one expects much better from this type of establishment.

28/03/2026: The pizzas are very thin and sparsely topped, nothing special; the pizzas from the machines are better. Moreover, the owner is about as friendly as a closed door.

04/06/2026: This so-called three-star hotel is completely isolated; the stars are unjustified. The room was very basic and smelled bad. We were there with a tour group. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your own luggage. The main building is separate, and it's not comfortable in the rain because the stairs you have to climb are outside and everything is slippery. The worst part was the food. First, we had to get our own drinks, and there were long lines because we had to pay immediately. The staff was overwhelmed. Then came ice-cold potato salad. The next course took an hour to arrive. Then there was some unidentifiable sausage, again with potato salad that was this time au gratin, and for dessert, a hard cake! Nothing is cooked there; a delivery service brings the food, and they feed it to us. The next day, we had sausage again—I don't know what kind, a bit bigger and browner. As a starter, there was more potato salad with some kind of unidentifiable vegetable. For dessert, there was dry apple pie. The prices for drinks are very high compared to the substandard food. There's no hairdryer in the room, the bathroom is slippery with no grab bars, but it does have a sitz bath... Definitely not suitable for a tour group; I don't know how anyone could give it three stars. It's better than a tent, but the food is best avoided.

08/06/2026: The prices are rather high, but everything is homemade and of very, very good quality. A great shop for small gifts and excellent coffee for a delicious afternoon treat.

23/05/2026: I find the prices too high for what it is; the hot drinks, like the chocolate, were too bland and not sweet enough, and the brownie was dry and far too small for the price. However, they do have some nice gift baskets if you're looking for a last-minute present 👍

03/01/2026: It's cold inside, and the starter is practically just a side dish for the main course. There's very little meat, and the portions are quite small.

31/12/2025: The place was very, very cold, the food was very good, but there was an error on the bill: an extra dessert that was included in my set menu, and many items on the menu were no longer available, even the beers 😳
