20/01/2026: My stay was generally pleasant; I enjoyed the restaurant despite one major drawback: The bathroom curtains showed obvious signs of mold, indicating a lack of maintenance in that area.

13/01/2026: A makeshift hotel To explain what was wrong, well, it wasn't very clean, uncomfortable, and above all, my boyfriend had to remake his bed... I still gave it two stars because fortunately, it wasn't too expensive.

04/10/2025: Real trompe-l'oeils in Rennes! A bit of a wait as it was crowded, but it was well worth it. You can eat in or take away. The terrace overlooking the pond is very pleasant. The trompe-l'oeils are delicious, with a particular preference for the peanut one. Congratulations on your work 👏🏼 One trompe l'oeil is €7.50 (except the lemon one is €6.50) We approve ✌🏼

24/02/2026: Never disappointed by the quality or the friendliness of the staff at this bakery. As loyal customers when we're in Saint-Malo and fans of specialty breads, we've always found them excellent. It's difficult, however, to please everyone, especially the grumblers who are quicker to voice their opinions!

18/01/2026: Arriving at 6:30 PM only to find it closed at 7 PM is unacceptable.

15/12/2025: The Campanile hotel has been renovated, and I must say, very tastefully. The only slight drawback is the lack of food options; only jarred meals are available. And there's not much else to do in the surrounding area.

01/11/2025: Small hotel along the road, but once you're in your room, you can't hear it. However, you can hear the other rooms quite well. Very good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and a wide variety. Evening meals are served from jars.

12/03/2026: Great restaurant. The menu was good, the main course, the turkey stir-fry, was divine and perfectly cooked. The waitress was quick and friendly. Very reasonable value for money. I recommend this brasserie 300%. Thank you so much. I will be back. First visit on Thursday, March 12, 2026 Today I had fresh tabbouleh and a perfectly cooked andouillette sausage with a divine sauce, broccoli and fries, and a small salad offered by the owner. It's these little touches that make all the difference. That's why I keep coming back to this restaurant. Thank you again for your kindness and efficiency. Naturally, I recommend this brasserie 300%. 23/12/2025: Very well located bar, welcoming and with easy parking nearby...near the cinema, the club, the media library and the station forum with its shops (intersport, action, halle, picard...) as well as bowling just after the forum...Terrace for sunbathing and windbreak panel...indoor games.

01/09/2025: I fully confirm the opinion expressed regarding the danger of this town's public lighting. It is indeed deplorable to sacrifice the safety of the people who frequent this village by plunging it into darkness when many vehicles and pedestrians circulate at nightfall. Regarding the significant noise pollution often observed by two-wheelers using modified exhausts, here too, the laxity of the town hall and law enforcement is surprising and unacceptable.

30/08/2025: Having frequented this town for many years, one can only deplore the extremely high noise pollution caused by the same two-wheelers, almost exhaust-free, polluting the area near the McDonald's day and night. When will the mayor and the police react to put an end to this noise pollution, which harms residents and tourists alike? The regulations exist; a little courage, Madam Mayor. Fines and immobilization are needed so that everyone can regain the peace and quiet that these polluters disturb. Furthermore, at nightfall, traffic in this town is VERY DANGEROUS given the total lack of street lighting, particularly at the large roundabout serving the Carrefour shopping area and the future Lidl. The lighting infrastructure exists, but it seems that the town hall is prioritizing the safety of pedestrians, drivers, and their passengers. The area is frequented by pedestrians, with a bus stop, and road traffic is quite heavy with vehicles arriving from the expressway and other towns within the Château Malo area. The situation worsens further at the Carrefour gas station, before reaching a second, equally dark roundabout that serves the McDonald's and the B&B hotel, whose sign is the only source of light for 300 meters. In terms of visibility, entering St Jouans at the car dealership is just as dangerous, with the same complete lack of lighting. The road narrowing bollards are unmarked and have no reflective features. Traveling on the sidewalks is also problematic; the unevenness is invisible, and you risk running into the raised concrete flower boxes at any moment. TO SUM UP, GOOD LUCK WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT ST JOUANS DES GUERETS AT NIGHT, YOU ARE PLAYING YOUR PHYSICAL INTEGRITY ON A TOSS OR TAILS, IT'S A LITTLE LIKE KOH LANTA, ONLY WORSE. SMALL CONSOLATION, IN A FEW YEARS, THE FUTURE HOSPITAL WILL NOT BE FAR AWAY!!!!!

28/01/2026: It's always a pleasure to come here. The welcome is perfect, the homemade dishes are high-quality and very tasty. I highly recommend it! Remember to book, it's often full at lunchtime. They also have a good self-service area on the ground floor with very reasonable student prices 🤩🥰

03/01/2026: Run away... Awful! The fish soup was definitely better than Liebig's! The Norwegian flatbreads were probably frozen! We didn't even bother with dessert; we'd had enough!

08/02/2026: The €22.90 set menu with starter, main course, and dessert is attractive, but it's not worth the money... the mussels were served cold, without the marinière sauce, with a strange texture, and the frozen fries had an unpleasant oily taste... the dessert wasn't great either... not even for two scoops of blackcurrant-lemon sorbet... several customers at other tables were also surprised by their meals... you could hear it in the conversations... a bad experience for both of us...

18/01/2026: Many negative reviews, yet that wasn't our experience at all... The welcome was very warm, the waitress was very pleasant, even funny with her (Thai) accent. Admittedly, some dishes were frozen, but not everything. In short, we left satisfied. It's not haute cuisine, certainly, but very good nonetheless. And if only for that very pleasant welcome, we'll return without hesitation.
