06/07/2025: Very rude waitress! The mussels were cold from the moment we served them, and when we mentioned this to the waitress, she told us we could just eat the insides, which were very dry! A disgrace! We'll go somewhere else next time!

27/12/2025: As a regular customer of this restaurant, I highly recommend it. If you enjoy hearty, home-style dishes like stews, gratins, and the like, you'll find something to your liking. For something more classic, there are burgers and pizzas. In addition to the regular menu, you'll find a selection of other options that change almost daily depending on what's fresh at the market. During the summer months, you can enjoy the outdoor seating area.

27/02/2026: Read to the end: The sushi is simply excellent. Always very fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. You can taste the attention to detail in both the presentation and the taste. For us, it's clearly the best sushi we've ever had, and we order regularly without ever being disappointed. However, there is one small drawback regarding the hot dishes (woks, skewers, etc.). During a visit with my husband, we glimpsed an employee in the kitchen, through the small curtain near the register, engaging in a rather unhygienic practice. It was quite disturbing. This somewhat put us off ordering the hot dishes. Since then, we continue to order the sushi without hesitation because it's truly excellent, but we prefer to avoid the hot dishes. Nevertheless, it remains a must-visit for sushi lovers.

10/01/2026: The welcome and the waiter's attitude were rather mediocre. We waited about ten minutes for the menu before being told that "the menu" was... the chalkboard on the wall: just a list of savory crepes. When it came time to pay, we discovered that there were other dishes, displayed elsewhere in the dining room, out of our sight. In fact, the menu is scattered all over the restaurant, which is absolutely no help to the customer. We were there by chance, as all the other restaurants were full. The meal was uninteresting: you eat because you're hungry, not because it's good. Even the desserts, usually our weak point, didn't entice us to stay. The most disappointing thing: previous reviews describe exactly the same experience.

20/01/2026: As loyal guests of the Royal Emerald Hotel for over 10 years, we know the place well, and although we were staying there as a family for the Christmas holidays, we wanted to pay a visit to the Darling with our (grown) children on December 25th for a drink, around 6 pm. The bar was almost deserted, and there was a small sign at the entrance asking us to wait, which we did. However, a hotel receptionist suddenly appeared and informed us, in a gruff tone and with very little courtesy, that the bar was closed/reserved for hotel guests. We took note and were about to leave when an elderly couple, who had arrived behind us and heard our rebuff, approached the receptionist, explaining that they were regulars at the bar, and then immediately went inside to sit under the glass roof… One of my sons wanted to come back and make his presence felt, but we decided to go to the bar at the Grand Hotel Barrière, where this time we received a truly royal welcome and enjoyed excellent cocktails accompanied by small snacks… go there! In the end, we didn't regret the peanuts at Darling, and for a drink, take my advice…

08/09/2025: A very pleasant place. We've returned several times and have always been very well received. The staff is lovely. The setting is beautiful, and the cocktails are good. One small drawback: the food isn't up to par with the venue, and the prices don't reflect the contents of the dishes.

13/12/2025: The service was terrible; you feel like you're bothering them, the atmosphere is awful. When you ask about a pastry, you get a cold, unhelpful answer. The nougat on the display in the middle of the shop is rancid.

12/12/2025: I went there twice in a row with friends to grab sandwiches before heading out for the day. They were always very good and generous, and not too expensive considering the quantity! The vegetarian option was also very good!

30/12/2025: Great bar, spacious terrace, not too crowded, fast service. Even in the cold, the terrace is still open. Pints ​​of lager warm us up. I highly recommend it!

26/10/2025: We thought we'd have a good meal at this little restaurant, but what a disappointment it was, the wait (more than 10 minutes to get a table with the menu, more than 30 minutes to get our meal) which was all galettes. Between a full tomato galette, where the tomatoes were canned tomatoes full of acidity, a ham that didn't particularly appeal to the taste, and a galette in their "specialty" where there's just a square of cheese with three pieces of potatoes dueling... Finally, a restaurant I won't be returning to.

14/03/2026: We arrived this Tuesday around 12:30 PM. The choice of dishes was very limited (they were out of stock), and there was no compensation offered. In short, the same was true for side dishes; there wasn't much choice left even though it was 12:30 PM. Expensive for what it was. The staff were not friendly at all, and the dishes were dirty. I do not recommend this Flunch!

08/03/2026: The food is quite decent for a self-service restaurant, with the option to cook your meat to your liking after you've sat down. The cooks are also pleasant despite the constant flow of customers. There's a wide selection of sides, starters, and desserts. At peak times, however, finding a good seat can be difficult.

25/02/2026: I came for lunch today with my dog. The servers were welcoming and found us a quiet table so she had plenty of space. The service was quick and friendly, even in the sunshine. I recommend it.

01/10/2025: We held our wedding at the Restaurant de la Tour. The venue wowed all our guests. We highly recommend it because the team was amazing! Thank you to Audrey, the chef, who delighted us, to Jordan, who listened to our requests and provided us with excellent advice, and to the entire team who took care of everything on the big day. All we had to do was enjoy the moment.
