28/09/2024: What an atmosphere for this first theme evening (AC/DC)!! ...Thanks to Fanny and Stéphane for their welcome, their humor, their customers (I met some really nice people)...everything is good...just like on the plate and in the glass...can't wait for the next one October 4th!

19/09/2024: Restaurant taken over very recently! From the cuisine to the service, everything is there, quality food and drinks at very affordable prices, pleasant and warm service. In short, go there with your eyes closed!

19/09/2024: The restaurant is situated right next to the river, we were a little early so had a little walk before dinner. We had 3 courses, and the food was delicious, and beautifully presented. We did have to translate the menu with our phones, and were not disappointed. Very good service in a beautiful location.

17/08/2024: Restaurant tout à fait atypique tant pour la déco du lieu que pour la gouaille du patron. Les crêpes et les galettes sont bonnes. Du tout fait maison. Les prix sont raisonnables. On a beaucoup aimé et on y retournera. On recommande.

30/08/2024: Incredible Asian all-you-can-eat restaurant! The buffet is not huge but that's not bad because at least the majority (or all) of the dishes offered are succulent. Attentive staff. I highly recommend.

01/09/2024: Excellent welcome, very fresh and nicely presented products and I even received a nice commercial gesture because things were missing from my order. I can only advise you to go there!!

25/08/2024: The vegetarian spring rolls and samosas are delicious, the pad thai is not bad but lacks pep, a little coriander and a little lemon and it's perfect. Welcome from the young woman who leaves something to be desired but a good experience all the same.

04/09/2024: A little overwhelmed by the arrival of a group. The oysters I ordered must have been opened a little too early, so they were dry.

31/08/2024: Charming Hotel just 10 minutes from Mont Saint Michel. The staff is very professional. I was able to park my bike in a dedicated and secure room. The breakfast is very good and plentiful.

08/09/2024: Déjeuner à deux dans cet écrin cerné par la mer. Magnifique voyage dans l’univers maritime d’Hugo Roellinger. Une dégustation en onze étapes associant fleurs, poissons, crustacés et fruits de mer (pas de viande) permettant de faire voyager les papilles au grès des flots. Tout est très juste et parfaitement épicé. Le service est très attentionné tout en restant discret. Un repas de grande classe qui nous laissera un beau et long souvenir.

19/05/2024: Superb hotel, I highly recommend it if you have to take a trip to Lohéac! The host is warm and you can feel a passion for his job. The rooms are spacious and clean, no complaints about the service. As for the building, it is charming and made of pretty stones. We will surely return to this pleasant hotel.

18/08/2024: A Disappointing Fine Dining Experience at Le Jardin de l'Abbaye We chose Le Jardin de l'Abbaye for my husband's birthday dinner, trusting its listing in the Michelin Guide. The setting in Le Tronchet is beautiful, and the restaurant's décor is inviting. We eagerly ordered the tasting menu, anticipating a memorable evening. Chef Marie-Léa Coulon’s food indeed showed promise, but unfortunately, the service was nothing short of disastrous. Fine dining is not just about the food; it's about the entire experience, where both the kitchen and service teams play crucial roles. In this case, the service team utterly failed. It was shocking to see such a stark contrast between the quality of the cuisine and the abysmal service. Imagine enjoying dishes of a fine dining caliber, only to have them served with the quality of service you'd expect at a fast-food chain. The staff provided no details about the dishes, practically dropped the plates on the table with a forced smile, and then disappeared. Having dined in some of the best restaurants across Brittany—Le Saint Placide, Le Bistro de Cancale, L’Ermitage, Fleur de Sel, and Otonali—we have never encountered such low-quality service. If Chef Marie-Léa Coulon intends to sabotage her brilliant culinary efforts, she couldn’t have found a better team to do it. This experience has shattered our trust in Michelin Guide recommendations. Fine dining is an art that encompasses both food and service, and sadly, this restaurant failed miserably on the latter. I would not recommend Le Jardin de l'Abbaye to anyone.

12/08/2024: Nous avons séjourné dans l’hôtel qui jouxte le restaurant où nous avons pu réserver une table de dernière minute. Le restaurant était une très bonne découverte. Les tables en duo sont orientées jardin pour souper en face un très beau décor. Nous avons choisi le menu en trois services accompagné de l’accord de vins. La cuisine y est raffinée et le personnel de salle très sympathique. Très bonne adresse. Nous recommandons !

18/09/2024: Very disappointing service. I kindly ask the receptionist to bring me a beer. I just spent 3 hours in front of my screen working. They tell me they don't do room service. Okay, I understand. So I go down to the bar to pick her up, with a big smile. The young man at the bar sets me on fire because I'm in a bathrobe and orders me to go back to my room. “We’re not at the campsite, we’re at the hotel.” I know and where is the service??, courtesy,??? To flee. The staff should run a Kebab. Too bad for the place.

11/09/2024: The review is about the restaurant. We have had lunch in Combourg at the restaurant several times now. castle hotel. Beautiful view of the lake and the castle 🏰 at the entrance. Lovely Sunday meal and beautiful pieces from the butcher, a Sunday entrecôte with fries and a vinous Bordeaux wine which goes well with the dish. Mention the gourmet dessert. Coming back soon.

18/09/2024: Overall good kebab, good ratio of raw vegetables to meat and sauce. Ras, ultra fast and super kind service!! Big plus on this side. Downside on the price (current economic situation I mean) but €10 for a fried kebab pancake menu is slightly above other establishments.
