28/07/2026: The manager, staff, bouncer, and their friends are incredibly violent, rude, and aggressive with the customers. Avoid at all costs!! A disgrace!!!

14/06/2026: The bar charged us twice for drinks because my friend had already paid for them, and the cashier charged me the full amount even though part of it had already been paid for. We only realized this afterward. I've been trying to contact them, but it's impossible. So I ended up paying €45 instead of €25. Please contact me and refund the difference.

24/09/2026: We were coming back from a weekend away, we decided to stop and order two pizzas, and for the first time, we got food poisoning. So we were regular customers, but with this unfortunate experience, that's it...

05/09/2026: Thank you to our pizza maker for the day; he was very welcoming and friendly. The pizza was made right in front of us by expert hands. I highly recommend him.

04/09/2026: An hour and a half wait before being served...and the order wasn't even complete...avoid at all costs

03/06/2026: The toilet was appalling. I complained, but the waitresses just laughed. They claimed it was cleaned morning and night. Except the toilet bowl was particularly filthy. It's been there for ages! You'd have to really want to eat at this brasserie! They say the cleanliness of the toilets reflects everything else!

08/08/2026: I bought a traditional cranberry bread, but it was a completely different story. My god, it was awful! You just got a big pile of unkneaded cranberries. I won't be going back. It looked like frozen bread.

29/09/2026: I really love the showcases at La Suite! It's the kind of evening I enjoy and that you don't find anywhere else in Saint-Malo. It's a nice change from the usual parties, and I think it's really cool to be able to see artists in this setting ✨

09/08/2026: Passing through St. Malo, we were returning from a stroll through the old town and stopped for a sandwich before heading back. It was very good; it had been a long time since I'd had a decent sandwich. The bread was still fresh and the filling was just right. We didn't get any pastries, but if we're ever back, we'll definitely try them.

09/08/2026: The vendor was a disgrace! We ordered a baguette at 3:30 pm and received a hard, very dry one that was impossible to break. The vendor first touched all the baguettes with his bare hands to find the "freshest" one, and then loudly remarked, "They're all dry." Instead of offering us an alternative, he sold it to us anyway. We quickly understood why the bakery and the display case were still full at that hour: Nobody wants to eat inedible food! We left the baguette on the tables outside. We didn't want to deal with that disastrous vendor again. We regret not having read the reviews beforehand…

09/09/2026: I wanted to order inside on September 9th, 2026 at 11:09 PM, and I was told that the dining room was closed for takeout at that time. The app indicated that the dining room closes at midnight with a half-hour wait. As a result, my order was cold, the wrong order, and some items were missing.

06/09/2026: Very bad experience, such a long wait that the food is served almost cold, the dispensers don't work properly, McDonald's to be avoided at all costs!!!!!!

30/09/2026: The only restaurant open on Wednesday evenings. However, we were unable to be served this evening.

30/09/2026: It was advertised as open, but once inside... we were told that we wouldn't be able to eat. Perhaps that's for the best!

05/10/2026: 35 minutes for a €5 McDonald's meal deal (one burger with two toppings, a Sprit, a McChoco, and fries) at 5 PM. There were six of us in the McDonald's, as many as in the kitchen. Guess what? They forgot the McChoco, which was 25% of the order. This is the second time I've come here this afternoon, and both times they've made me late for an appointment. It's not a fast-food restaurant anymore; it's like a Black Friday queue for a Nutella sale. A complete disaster.

04/10/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience this evening. We received a very poor welcome. A waitress was particularly unpleasant and placed our tray on the table abruptly, practically throwing it. Furthermore, there were errors in our order. We tried to speak calmly with the manager to express our dissatisfaction, but he didn't even really listen to us or take the time to consider our comment. We find this truly regrettable, as a minimum level of hospitality, respect, and attentiveness to customers seems essential. We are very dissatisfied with this experience and hope that this kind of behavior will not happen again.

04/09/2026: We celebrated our wedding the first weekend of August at La Demeure d’Ogust, for three days, and we honestly couldn't have dreamed of a more beautiful place to experience this very important moment for us. Our wedding brought together our two cultures, French and Indian, with different celebrations and atmospheres throughout the weekend. La Demeure d’Ogust played a major role in the success of these three days, both through the beauty and layout of the venue and through the kindness, availability, and invaluable advice of its owners, Jean-Michel and Patricia. The estate is absolutely magnificent. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained, while the interior has immense charm, with its Breton style and magnificent exposed stone walls. The different spaces allowed us to create several different atmospheres and give our guests a truly memorable wedding weekend. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue, and for our part, we had an even more wonderful weekend than we had imagined. We also greatly appreciated the option of accommodating some of our loved ones directly on-site in the guest rooms, which offered every comfort. A huge thank you as well to the manager for her kindness, availability, and flexibility throughout our stay. The location of the Demeure is also a real asset. Its proximity to Rennes, Combourg, and the surrounding towns allowed our guests to easily find accommodations and also to take advantage of their visit to explore the region and organize activities before or after the wedding. Finally, we would like to extend a special thank you to Jean-Michel and Patricia. Thank you for your time, advice, attentiveness, flexibility, and availability, both during the planning stages and on our wedding day. We know all the work and investment that goes into a venue like this, and we are incredibly happy to have chosen La Demeure d’Ogust to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. We will cherish wonderful memories of these three days, as will our families and guests. Thank you again to you both for helping make our wedding so beautiful ❤️

15/08/2026: We rented Ogust for our wedding in July 2025. We were delighted with our choice of Ogust for our wedding! We were captivated by the verdant setting, the rustic atmosphere of the venue, and the flexibility of the services offered by the owners. We also used the shuttle to safely transport our guests. Following other reviews, we checked upon arrival that everything was working properly regarding the cold storage and refrigerators during our weekend. We encountered no problems at all. The only slight drawback was that, given the flexibility offered by the venue, some items were also present even though we hadn't requested them (too many chairs or tables, as well as some of the owner's DJ equipment, which we had to put away before our weekend). Thank you, Jean-Michel and Patricia, for this wonderful weekend.

17/10/2026: As a woman, I advise you not to go because if a malicious man verbally assaults you, security will not help you and will not remove the man in question but you yourself, and if you continue to talk about it in front of the bar, security will not hesitate to physically assault you.

19/07/2026: Every time we place a phone order, we are treated poorly; we feel like we are bothering them, and the staff are unfriendly. They make it very clear that we are inconveniencing them.

18/06/2026: Very bad experience with Domino's Pizza Bain-de-Bretagne. When I ordered delivery, one pizza was missing. When I contacted the restaurant to report the error, no satisfactory solution was offered. The person on the phone simply replied, "It's your word against mine," questioning my honesty instead of trying to resolve the issue. A mistake in preparation can happen, but the way the situation was handled is unacceptable. As a customer, I expected the restaurant to check the order or offer some kind of compensation, not to be treated as if I were lying. Very disappointed by the customer service and the lack of consideration given to my complaint.

14/07/2026: Very disappointed. We chose two medium pizzas tonight to enjoy the game, taking advantage of the Tuesday special offer. Huge disappointment upon opening the boxes: the pizzas were practically empty! The sauce and base were fine, but the rest was a struggle to find toppings, and you could count them on one hand, there were so few. I chose the new Korean Crispy BBQ pizza, which had no toppings whatsoever: just five pieces of crispy topping, a single piece of bell pepper, and a few onions. The offer at €7.95, a low price, does this mean fewer toppings? This should be mentioned at the time! The second pizza was the same, with very few toppings. We would appreciate a discount on our next order, as it did not meet our expectations!
