28/05/2026: I ordered a drink at 2:30 PM with a small bag of chips and was told off for having a bag of chips by the very unpleasant and unbusinesslike owners. Avoid this place!

06/08/2026: Sorry about the other reviews. I'm completely impartial, I was just passing through! The croque monsieur on brioche bread was amazing and very generous; even the dog was happy with his bowl of water, which was kindly provided. We won't forget the delicious tiramisu, the refreshing drinks, and two excellent coffees. Thank you for your hospitality, and all for €28! Oh yes! The restrooms were spotless.

09/08/2026: A welcoming bar/restaurant with smiling and friendly waitresses and a great sense of humor from the owner. The mussels were excellent and the burger delicious. I recommend it!

06/08/2026: We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our own table. However, the terrace was very messy and the seating was unpleasant. The tables were all scratched and dented, and the chairs were plastic without cushions. Two out of the three plates that came with the food were also damaged. The price-performance ratio was poor; the portions were clearly small, but acceptable, nothing special. We advise against ordering a cappuccino afterward. €25 per person was definitely too much!

23/08/2026: We went to the McDonald's drive-thru in Fougères at 11:15 PM. There was a long wait at the first kiosk, at least 10 minutes, even though there was no one there. So we went to the second kiosk to see if anyone was waiting. They could see us from the kitchen, but they didn't ask us anything. We finally left after 11:30 PM. Unbelievable...

22/08/2026: Eatin McDonald's around 6 PM on a Monday. The table was dirty, the floor sticky, and there were trays and trash left on the tables. Some customers have no manners. On the other hand, the fries weren't very hot.

18/08/2026: The waitress was about as friendly as a prison door... Children are not welcome; she sighs just at the sight of them! Avoid at all costs!!!!

22/08/2026: I forgot I had a small, almost empty bottle on me. As soon as it was pointed out, I immediately apologized and threw it away without arguing. Despite this, the owner was particularly unpleasant to us and refused us entry, offering various excuses. We also noticed groups of boys being refused entry, which I find frankly unacceptable. For our part, we remained polite, and the situation with the bottle was resolved immediately. However, no dialogue was possible. We had simply come to have a pleasant evening and left with a very negative impression of the welcome and the way customers are treated.

25/06/2026: I came here during a two-day holiday in Saint-Malo. I had two ham and butter sandwiches. The price was very reasonable. And I think you can add extras. I had the chance to try the famous Queen Anne cake, a Breton cake, and also some magnificent and delicious Breton pastries! I also had two coffees. The baker is very polite and friendly, and the Breton products are amazing.

19/06/2026: Great croissants and bread along with friendly service! Highly recommend! I would ignore the reviews if you are looking for great baked goods.

24/02/2026: Never disappointed by the quality or the friendliness of the staff at this bakery. As loyal customers when we're in Saint-Malo and fans of specialty breads, we've always found them excellent. It's difficult, however, to please everyone, especially the grumblers who are quicker to voice their opinions!

18/01/2026: Arriving at 6:30 PM only to find it closed at 7 PM is unacceptable.

30/05/2026: Today: no air conditioning in the restaurant and no ice cream to offer...plus no smiles and a cold welcome....I left without ordering anything.

28/05/2026: Unfortunately, the service is very slow, especially at the drive-thru. The fries are overcooked, and sometimes there's not enough tomato in the wrapper. It's well located, but unfortunately, it always takes me more than 20 minutes to get my order, even when there aren't many people in line.

05/08/2026: As with every drive-through order, at least one product is missing, and the products are not those ordered…

01/08/2026: The burgers were very good and piping hot; this time the fries were also piping hot. The service at the drive-thru was friendly and quick.

17/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! LACK OF HYGIENE!!! I was sick for a week after having a milkshake there (headache, fever, severe diarrhea), a bacterial infection that had to be treated with antibiotics. And clearly linked to the milkshake! Never again!!!!! And to top it all off: 20 minutes to get this supposedly infested milkshake! A disrespectful and dishonest waitress: when I politely asked her what the problem was given my wait time, she curtly replied that she serves customers in order of arrival and that "you have to be patient." And when I pointed out that everyone who had been served before me in the last 15 minutes arrived well after me, she replied: "Milkshakes take longer!" Finally, they made me the infamous milkshake in a rather unsavory blender. In the end, the drink was barely lukewarm, just a simple milkshake, no ice cream in it. It really didn't deserve the unpleasantness that followed!

21/05/2026: Ridiculous food, a mere centimeter of cream in the crispy rolls (photo attached), you might as well get a decent croissant from a bakery. The strawberry tea in the €5.50 set menu is ridiculously bad, it's literally just watered-down syrup, nothing more. I absolutely do not recommend it. To top it all off, the muffin is completely bland and overpriced for what it is, with very little raspberry and white chocolate. They're real cheapskates! Avoid at all costs!! P.S.: The blaring music is the highlight; you can't tell if it's a nightclub or a place to relax.

09/08/2026: Zero is all I have to say. I was refused entry because I was supposedly too drunk. Apparently, they have a breathalyzer in their eyes, good for them, but their stuff isn't very reliable. Be careful at the entrance!

06/08/2026: A legendary bar, undoubtedly a pillar of the nightlife in the beautiful city of Rennes, capital of the beautiful region of Brittany. This place perfectly embodies the essence of the Rennes spirit: sharing, meeting, and celebrating the pleasures of life that unite us all. I thank this bar, and indeed the people of Rennes, for their warm welcome. However, I must express my profound disappointment with one aspect of the service that I consider essential. As someone of Irish descent on my mother's side, I was genuinely shocked by the way my pint of Guinness was served. Due to excessive foam, I was unable to enjoy the traditional "G split" with my friends. This is why I am unable to give it 5 stars and will settle for a 4. I would be grateful if you would pass this information on to your bartenders.

10/07/2026: ZERO RATINGS I'm giving it one star because zero isn't an option. A wait longer than at a gourmet restaurant. No attempt to adapt or adjust to the situation. 10 out of 12 self-service kiosks out of order. Over an hour's wait for raw, cold fries. 5 burgers, 2 of which were missing a patty. Impossible to get a refund because of a nearly 30-minute wait with the entire restaurant looking for the same thing. I don't even want to imagine the management's incompetence in serving drinks, then food 30 minutes later, and then fries another 10 minutes after that. Perhaps consider hiring more competent staff. You're a disgrace to this chain. Want McDonald's? You have time to go somewhere else and eat faster.
