01/12/2025: What a great place! We booked a night at La Cigogne and what a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. The bedding was also excellent! We received a very warm welcome from the friendly owners! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

24/02/2026: The food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly. However, the parking lot was far too cramped, making it difficult to get out of the truck. If there's an emergency during the night, the fire department can't respond.

10/09/2025: The hotel is well-located for visiting Charlieu. The food is impeccable, meticulous, and original. The service is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Perhaps the only downside is that the rooms are very clean but average in size. Oh, and I forgot, the breakfast is carefully prepared with local products, which isn't common in hotels.

05/01/2025: A beautiful inn with lots of promises and quality local products, a service provided by two young waitresses full of good will, just lacking the consideration of the owners, the table was not ready when we arrived, reservation for 11 people…., the dishes were not served at the same time and the desserts…., chocolate mousse not of the day or too much of the day….?? And not a word from the boss to know if we are satisfied…. In short, hostel also rhymes with sympathy…., too bad….

21/12/2025: Excellent service! The dining room is pleasant with tables thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort. Cloth tablecloths and napkins (a feature becoming increasingly rare in many establishments). The €22 set menu included a starter, main course, and dessert. Everything was excellent; presented with great care and friendly service. A very welcome surprise: a small ramekin of crème brûlée with fennel and peppers as an amuse-bouche, and after dessert, another delightful surprise: a platter of various treats to choose from! Bravo! I highly recommend this restaurant.

13/12/2024: We privatized the top of Alsatian to celebrate our wedding and we were delighted, as were all the guests! The place is friendly and clean, the service was efficient even though there were also customers to serve downstairs, the employees are very pleasant and the food is super good! The manager followed what we asked to the letter and everything went very well. Since then, we have regularly come to eat with friends and it is a place that I highly recommend! Many thanks to you!

13/08/2025: Excellent welcome, pleasant service, and quality cuisine. The only downside: the loud drinking at the bar. The volume measured at over 90dB is very, very annoying. Couldn't we move them to the terrace? By the time dessert arrived, the bar had become quiet. We were able to enjoy the artisanal sorbets while chatting normally. Overall, a very good restaurant!

11/03/2026: I stayed here for one night. The room was very nice: comfortable bed, practical bathroom. The rooms are well soundproofed, and despite mine facing the street, I didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was very good, prepared with care. Thank you 🙏🏻
