21/09/2026: A wonderful culinary experience. However, we were disappointed by the service, which was quite different from the food. There was a long wait for our order, the wine service was rushed, and the waitress smelled strongly of cigarettes. It's a shame.

26/08/2026: Delicious food and original dishes with impeccable service. We had a wonderful time. The only slight drawback was that our table was on the terrace, and towards the end of the evening, there was a rather unpleasant draft. Next time, we'll choose a different table.

08/02/2026: In an unlikely setting, we had the pleasure of meeting Marjorie and Edouard… generous and loving hosts in their inn nestled among fir trees… originally from the Basque Country, they invited us to savor the local flavors! A night immersed in silence, far from the city and technological distractions… no TV, which encourages meditation and inner peace! A place to give as a gift, to share (the possibilities are endless for sleeping, dining, and even games)… thank you both!

25/07/2026: A restaurant in the heart of Saint-Étienne with a shaded terrace, a refined daily special featuring two fish and two meat dishes accompanied by fresh vegetables from the local farmers' market, a lovely dessert menu, and all at a very reasonable price. A very pleasant family meal. A sixth star for the immediate care of our four-legged companion who was with us. Impeccable service. Thank you for this lunch.

08/07/2026: I was blown away by the warm welcome from the staff at Café de L'Opera; they were truly attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, perfect for an evening with family or friends. The value for money is excellent.

13/09/2026: Best kebab in Saint Etienne, homemade bread cooked in a wood-fired oven, incredible meat, a loyal customer for many years, go without hesitation!

08/08/2026: This restaurant is truly mediocre and disgusting. Ordering there once will be the last time. The kebabs are crammed with meat, there's no sauce, it's all bland, the meat is questionable, it smells like dog, and as a result, I woke up the next day extremely sick. I had to throw up a 5-liter bottle of water. Honestly, it's just awful!

20/07/2026: Good food, special mention for the desserts which were delicious! It's a shame, however, that the pike quenelles weren't served with a side dish, like just a plate of rice for example.

20/06/2026: I stayed at this hotel for a business trip on Wednesday, June 17th, without having chosen it myself as it was booked by my company. The room was spacious and very clean, and the furnishings were rather minimalist but sufficient for me. However, the bedding was a bit too firm for my liking, and the bathroom could use a little updating. As for the service, I have no complaints; the staff was friendly and welcoming. That evening, there was a football match on that I really wanted to watch, but unfortunately, after a storm a few days earlier, some TV channels were missing, including the one broadcasting the match. One of the employees offered to set up a Chromecast cable that belonged to her personally (which she obviously wasn't obligated to do). That's what I call excellent customer service, and I'm very grateful to her! The restaurant is pleasant, the home-style cooking is good quality, and the prices are quite reasonable for the time of year. Thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome.

19/05/2026: We spent four days at this establishment. The surroundings were wonderful, the welcome was warm and friendly, the staff were very attentive, the cleanliness was excellent, and the meals were very good and prepared on-site – everything was more than perfect. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely return. Plus, they accept dogs – everything you need for a great stay. Thank you!

19/08/2026: The atmosphere is very friendly, there's a lot of good stuff, including draft and house beers, burgers, hot dogs, and amazing fries, and the chicken wings are exceptional too. The service is impeccable, they're very friendly. I hope to come back soon, looking forward to seeing you again very soon.

26/08/2026: Good food. We were disappointed that certain strong flavors (like alcohol) were not mentioned when ordering dishes or desserts.

10/08/2026: We had reserved a table for three people. Upon arrival, we wanted to order two burgers and a salad. It was only when they took our order, after serving our drinks, that we were told there were no burgers available. We had to find a solution quickly and opted for two small Caesar salads (one without anchovies and one with), another salad, and plates of fries. The most problematic part was my salad. I had ordered a Caesar salad without anchovies because I am allergic to them. When my plate arrived, it contained anchovies. I immediately pointed this out to the waitress and explained my allergy. She took the plate back and finally brought me a new one about 15 minutes later. This time, the chicken was hot and the salad was fine. However, I was then told that there was no sauce and that a small sauce containing anchovies had been placed on the side. I would like to remind everyone that I clearly stated my anchovy allergy: I therefore don't understand the point of offering me a sauce containing precisely the food I'm allergic to. A vinaigrette without anchovies was eventually brought to me later. Furthermore, my friends' plates of fries arrived well after the rest of their meals. In the end, we found the staff quite friendly, but the organization and especially the handling of a food allergy were truly disappointing. When a customer reports an allergy, it should be taken with much more seriousness and attention.
