The staff is very welcoming. The woman who serves breakfast is very cheerful, which is very pleasant early in the morning.
Besides that, the rooms are very clean.
I can only recommend this hotel!

13/12/2024: Hair in the meal. When we call to report this the waitress hangs up on us. The manager preferred to be at a loss by collecting the entire order and reimbursing us, instead of bringing us a new salad for €3.
I won't go back!

23/06/2025: A good restaurant. While the storefront may not look like much, the interior of the restaurant has a nice decor, featuring a cool display case displaying the fish. The sushi is made on-site and is of good quality, the fish is fresh and tasty, the staff is friendly, and the portions are generous.
A very good place, I recommend it.
19/06/2025: Not many people in the restaurant, but the waiters are fixing their hair and talking amongst themselves. The service is very long.

no tablecloth, wooden table, paper napkins
unpeeled potatoes 'so-called "new"
the new potatoes are peeling!!
note not presented at the table: you must pay at the cash register
can do much better without problem!!

09/01/2025: Sincerely Excellent Pizza 👍 my favorites in Saint Etienne several sizes, very reasonable price considering the quality; the salmon without onion is delicious 😋 the managers are really nice, you don't have to be in a hurry at certain times but it's worth the detour see you soon 😄

06/09/2024: C’est déplorable, la qualité et le service en baisse, un steak trop cuit dans un burger, une poitrine de porc (rouelle de porc) qui n’a pas mijoté 8h ça c’est clair, des cheveux dans le dessert. Un temps d’attente beaucoup trop long alors qu’il n’y a presque personne. À deux reprises on nous demande si tout s’est bien passé, malgré nos remarques et notre mécontentement aucun geste commercial. Le restaurant n’aura garder que son nom, il n’y a plus rien de qualitatif c’est bien malheureux donc restaurant à bannir. Je le déconseille vivement, ce qui était encore une valeur sûre il y a quelques années… grosse déception 😢
28/08/2024: Bon rapport qualité prix, plats délicieux et correctement préparés.
Choix variés accompagnés de légumes ce qui n'est pas sans me déplaire car trop de brasseries proposent des pâtes ou du riz et des frites.

11/11/2024: For a night or two, decent hotel close to the N88 exit. Despite the proximity of the motorway, the rooms are very well soundproofed and the bedding is excellent. Small bathroom and tiny shower tray with curtain. Used carpet. Overall good for resting before hitting the road again.

Warm welcome, efficiency of service (5-generation tradition), pleasant setting. Terrific cuisine: frog leg, hot paté, sea bream, starters (ahhhh la caillette), dessert. A beautiful wine list... a Croze l'Hermitage in terms of dishes... I'm already thinking about a future visit. Well done .
Family over 3 generations: all delighted
