25/02/2026: We've been to the terrace several times this summer for a beer and a burger. The staff is always warmly welcomed and very friendly. They have a great selection of beers 🍻, and the burgers are varied and delicious. We also visited on a Saturday evening in February, and the atmosphere was just as welcoming. I recommend the roasted Camembert; it's excellent value for money, and the service is always excellent.

04/12/2025: The servers are friendly and the beers are good. It's a shame the music is so loud, often right from the start of the evening... It's impossible to hear each other and have a conversation. Also, the fries aren't as good as they used to be.

14/03/2026: The best burger in Saint-Etienne The student option is excellent for €10.

20/02/2026: Very average. The floor is full of young people vaping and thinking they can do whatever they want. Some tables are broken. Very disappointed with how this place has become

31/01/2026: We had lunch there for two on Saturday. It's a chic bistro, and we ordered the set menu: terrine and turkey sauté with fresh pasta. It was delicious and beautifully presented! The waitress was very friendly (thank you for offering me a stool to put under my leg in a cast). Thank you so much for the meal :)

27/02/2026: The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the service is very good. I also thoroughly enjoyed the frogs' legs at the restaurant. There's free public parking opposite the hotel.

15/03/2026: A restaurant that claims to be all-you-can-eat, but only on paper. I'm not usually a big eater, so I never imagined they'd refuse to give me seconds. I asked for more beef and cheese, and they told me they were out, while all the other tables around me were getting unlimited refills. I couldn't understand at the time how they could refuse to serve a customer in an all-you-can-eat restaurant! Especially since I didn't order excessive amounts at all, with no waste whatsoever, and even if I had ordered a lot, isn't that the point? You can find much better restaurants that are truly all-you-can-eat; look elsewhere.

09/02/2026: I found a hair in my noodles. I alerted the waitress, showing her the hair in my dish, and they offered no compensation whatsoever. I find this shameful and completely unhygienic! I will never return; it's unacceptable. Response: Of course I wasn't going to order another plate after this incident. Just because I remained pleasant and cordial doesn't excuse letting it slide! I've heard it all now! Shame on you!

15/01/2026: The welcome was cold, the restaurant didn't look like the photos, we waited 10 minutes, found hair in our food, and the young cook was serving in uniform in the dining room. The waitresses were drinking during service and were unprofessional. I don't recommend this restaurant.

24/12/2025: And what a fantastic place it is! No frills, but incredibly efficient. The food is delicious, very generous, and inexpensive—a set menu at €16.50 including coffee and wine. The andouillette sausage with mustard sauce was as long as a June day, while the Lyonnaise salad was perfectly prepared. The desserts are quite good, as is the wine. In short, go there immediately! I haven't seen a place like this in years!

11/01/2026: Ordered pizza Saturday night and it's still as good as ever! I recommend it. The only thing is the prices, which I find quite high, but hey, the pizzas were super delicious.

05/03/2026: The food was bland and tasteless; the stir-fried noodles weren't even noodles, and the seasoning was nonexistent. Disappointed, disappointed, disappointed.

06/02/2026: The prices are low, but so is the quality. It would be wise to raise the prices but offer meals that live up to the quality. We ordered Cantonese rice and caramel chicken, but the rice consisted of a few peas and ham that barely made a dent, with hardly any omelet. This Cantonese rice was very poor quality and lacked color, resembling plain white rice. As for the caramel chicken, it was quite tasty, but the pieces were cut very small and served in small portions. The food was left in the display case all day, probably since noon, which is problematic for freshness. The service was adequate.

10/03/2026: Avoid the Milanese cutlet; it was soaked in frying oil and inedible! It's a shame, because the dish was nicely presented and plentiful.

17/01/2026: I think it's hard to imagine anything worse: we waited 35 minutes before being served. The burger patty was way overcooked and dry, the homemade fries were soggy, very greasy, and dark brown. The daily special must have been meant for a four-year-old: a tiny portion and overcooked rice. My pork was completely cold, and the bread arrived after we'd finished eating! In short, it's been a long time since we've been so disappointed by a "restaurant."

14/01/2026: Very mediocre restaurant! The welcome was adequate, however, we waited over 40 minutes for our dish, which arrived cold. Everyone who arrived after us was served before us! As for the food, it was the worst I've had in a long time. The burger had shoe-like meat, and the homemade fries were burnt, soggy, and cooked in old oil. The side dish was a green salad and a slice of hard-boiled egg—what on earth was that?! The other dishes were just as bad as mine; we obviously didn't order dessert! Regarding the price, it's far too expensive for the quality and quantity served. We should have read other reviews beforehand, which would have allowed us to go somewhere else.

16/03/2026: A very good pizzeria with affordable prices and a wide variety of pizzas available (cream base, tomato base). I highly recommend this pizzeria.
