01/09/2024: Discovered this place last night, the outdoor terrace is just magnificent, the atmosphere is great as well as the staff. We had an excellent evening. Friendly place, for white wine lovers the Nectardiff is delicious.

08/08/2024: For a daily special + dessert at €17.50, it's great. The dish was really good. The rest of the dishes are at a higher price (20/30€). The person who served us told us to post the daily menu on Facebook every day. The welcome was warm, both in terms of the service and the boss in the kitchen who came to chat when it was time to pay. 23/07/2024: A quality restaurant located in the charming village of Bard. We enjoyed a meal on the terrace with a magnificent view of the church and the Monts du Forez. The staff shows great kindness. The dishes were very good. Special mention for the pistachio and raspberry tiramisu. An address not to be missed.

07/07/2024: Very disappointed. We had booked 15 days ago thinking of eating in a good gourmet restaurant and the day before going to eat, at 9 p.m., we received a "message" saying that they could not accommodate us and that we were being offered to eat in a pizzeria. We had family who came from far away. It's a shame. Not even the courage to call us directly on the phone.

15/09/2024: Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant and it was very good. The welcome and the service are perfect, the dishes (roasted guinea fowl, duck breast) are delicious and my son had a surprise for his birthday..I recommend ++

22/06/2024: L'accueil est très agréable, la salle est jolie (malgré une petite odeur désagréable de remontée d'égouts due sans doute aux intempéries). Les plats sont satisfaisants mais je mets 3 sur 5 car non seulement ça manque d'originalité dans les plats mais en plus le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas vraiment Entrée asperges vertes, maquereaux et saumon (des asperges minuscules : pas cher, du maquereau émietté mais l'équivalent d'une cuillère à soupe, idem pour le saumon ....) Agneau .... on était proche du navarin : le plat était bien assaisonné mais là aussi: rien de marquant. Côté dessert, mousse au chocolat, mousse citron... quel manque d'audace... OK le cuisto n'est sans doute pas pâtissier mais tout ça à plus de 40€ : le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas ... Je suis très partagé car encore une fois nous avons été bien accueilli et nous n'avons pas mal mangé mais ça ne vaut pas près de 200€ à 4 pour ce qui a été servi .

06/04/2024: A while ago I went to get 1 cake. Despite the fact that there are 3 pies chasing each other, including 1 where the waitress didn't know what they were. So she asks her colleague who tells her “bin chai no, plum no?” She cashed me and during this time this same colleague (little blond hair) was nibbling the seeds that were on the breads on display with her big nails (without gloves of course). Put them in his mouth and start again. The fact that she saw me looking at her didn't stop her. Bravo for hygiene and respect for customers.

27/03/2024: I have had the experience several times (4) of kindly asking for soft bread that was not overcooked, with the result that the bread was not risen or it was burnt so I would not use it anymore. On the other hand, the Marie Blachère d'Andrezieux near Grand Frais makes good bread and the friendly saleswomen listen to you at least....

07/09/2024: Magnificent setting, breathtaking view! Generous and delicious cuisine. We will return this winter to enjoy a meal by the fire. Great discovery!

15/08/2024: Très bel endroit une belle terrasse avec une vue imprenable. Le repas: tout est très bon et copieux, mais les assiettes ne sont pas très belles, la terrine est très bonne mais servie avec une salade du melon ce dernier est de trop et n’apporte rien au contraire. La volaille très bonne mais servie avec une ratatouille trop cuite dans un petit verre et des champignons servis en très grande quantité. Cela manque de finesse et rends l’assiette gargantuesque pas très jolie. Nous n’avons pas pris de fromage, le dessert était une tarte aux myrtilles, je dirais plutôt un flan aux myrtilles. Tout cela pour un menu à 42€. En synthèse je dirais bon trop copieux mal présenté et surtout bien trop cher.

12/09/2024: Very nice surprise, relaxing setting, a little music in the background. Perfect couscous. Mixed mixed salad. Friendly welcome. The only downside is no aperitif or wine, too bad.
