26/09/2026: A pleasant moment apart opposite the Sainte Croix en Jarez monastery. Very kind and welcoming managers, a generously filled plate of charcuterie and cheeses under the late afternoon sun. Delighted to have been able to spend time in this place.

22/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! Don't hesitate to come and enjoy a lovely meal at the Auberge du Refuge. Everything is excellent and homemade. The welcome is friendly and warm. At our request, we had dessert on the terrace to enjoy the setting. Great value for money. Beautiful decor. A short walk with a breathtaking view of the Guizay. Absolutely worth discovering. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

06/09/2026: A very good birthday meal, a lovely little place, friendly staff, and delicious food. I loved the doughnuts and noodles, and the mango tapioca too, although the mango didn't seem fresh but perhaps it was a good brand canned. In any case, we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for this relaxing evening, just the way we like them!

09/06/2026: I tried it somewhat by chance, arriving late on my own. They found me a table, and I went for the set menu. It was a delightful series of discoveries and flavor combinations, all in a pleasant setting. A little noisy for the ambiance, but otherwise, it was fantastic. Well done!

01/07/2026: Passing through Saint-Étienne, we discovered this restaurant where we were delighted by the warm welcome and friendliness of the owner. As for the chef, our taste buds and eyes were in heaven; the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money! If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to visit this charming little restaurant; you won't be disappointed. They use only fresh, seasonal ingredients. There were two of us, and we ordered an aperitif, the set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and coffee.
