04/07/2026: Arriving with friends at this 15th-century building, we discovered a place that's been a staple of the Rough Guide for many years. It's an address well worth the detour in the Compiègne area for lovers of stone and well-being in a warm, family-friendly setting. A warm welcome, both in the ambiance and on the faces of the staff, awaited us at the entrance. Impeccable service and a delicious meal were served with joy and happiness, featuring a tempting menu. We had a wonderful evening in the company of the owners and staff who, through their experience, offered us a magnificent moment of escape from daily worries, a pause in time in this restaurant that allowed us to relive moments with family, often forgotten by our loved ones. Thank you, a huge thank you, and congratulations! I highly recommend it.

20/09/2026: A huge congratulations to the entire team at this wonderful restaurant. We had an incredible romantic dinner in the little alcove overlooking the water. The menu makes you want to try everything, but we had to make some choices. We were never disappointed; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! First, the presentation was stunning, and our taste buds tingled with delight—it was so excellent! The service was warm and attentive. A truly memorable place that we will return to with immense pleasure.

30/08/2026: Loyal customer for 4 years. Buy one pizza, get the second free. I ordered as usual by phone for pickup. Normally, it's 3 pizzas, get the 4th free, and this offer was automatically applied, but this time it was the price of the 3 pizzas. After 5 minutes of thinking, I called them back to claim my free 4th pizza. And then the owner told me I should have asked for it. That he's not a mind reader. Uh, how can I put this? You're yelling at me, which is already bad customer service, and yelling at me like that, even saying if I don't come and collect the 3 pizzas I'll call the police? Well, go ahead, because the flyer clearly says buy one, get one free. Call them, no problem. You've lost a loyal customer.

09/08/2026: This is a gem! Amazing place and delicious food. A step back in time and oh so French. Only the logistics between the staff could be improved. We had to wait a long time before the right person came to our table to take our order. But the food is superb.

We had to wait a very long time for the children's meals, which we had to ask for. Their dishes were served after our starter! Neither of them ate their steak: it was awful! The color was strange! Our meal was disappointing; the food was bland, tasteless, and uninteresting! We were served desserts on a table that hadn't been cleared! The service was provided by two inexperienced young people, and we had to speak English to the waitress. This is nothing like the previous owners; we do not recommend this restaurant! We are very disappointed; you ruined our granddaughter's second birthday party!

16/05/2026: We ordered penne with scallops and chorizo, and breaded turkey cutlet. The portions were generous. Very good, although the pasta was slightly overcooked for our taste. The dessert, a rum baba, was delicious—huge, perfectly soaked, and crispy on top. Very quick service and friendly staff.

25/05/2026: Fantastic bakery! We went there to buy some treats on the recommendation of the tobacconist next door, to enjoy with coffee and homemade lemonade. We got pistachio and speculoos éclairs—absolutely divine! They also had delicious and affordable pain au raisin and a brownie. It's a shame we were there on a Monday, and since they're closed on Tuesdays, there was practically nothing left, but it was all incredibly tasty!

25/05/2026: For my wife's birthday, we ordered a strawberry cake for 14 people. It was delicious; all the guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The strawberries were very flavorful, which demonstrates the professionalism of this pastry shop. A strawberry cake is a pastry, of course, but the choice of strawberries is also very important. Thank you for your excellent work!

31/08/2026: A quiet and pleasant restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The service is generally quick. The food is good (the salmon tartare could be seasoned a little more). The homemade dessert was very good.

30/08/2026: Fantastic evening! Delicious meal! The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. The only downside was the limited amount of vegetables, especially considering the €4 supplement, bringing the total menu price to almost €45.
