18/12/2025: We were looking for a traditional pub, so I called to check if the restaurant was open, specifying that we were looking for a pub... However, when we arrived, we were only able to get a meal from the chip shop menu. Nevertheless, the service was good, the portions were quite generous, and the price was reasonable.

16/12/2025: The platters were well-served, good, and tasty. We ordered takeout, and the chef was friendly. I recommend it and we'll be back. Note that they're moving at the beginning of the year. Enjoy your meal!

11/04/2026: Passing through during our motorcycle tour, we were pleasantly surprised by this little bistro in the heart of the countryside. What a delight to see kidneys on the menu, and they were delicious too! The menu is simple yet tasty, and the value for money is excellent. This place is well worth a visit and worth venturing outside the center of Bruay.

06/07/2025: Passing through Calais to board a boat for the UK, we stopped at this place. Nice, fresh, tidy and clean environment, friendly and kind staff. We ate really excellent Moules Marinieres, generous portions. I highly recommend it. From the Aire de Camping Car it can be reached by a convenient pedestrian path. We will definitely stop here on the way back.

26/04/2026: Excellent meal! My choice was simple (butcher's cut). I asked for it rare, and it was indeed rare—kudos to the chef! That's not always the case in other restaurants. Nice decor, very friendly and welcoming staff. In short, don't hesitate to click the "to drink" button; it's well deserved. I highly recommend it; the whole menu is good.

17/04/2026: A lovely spot, well located opposite the Place d'Armes in Calais. The huge covered terrace is inviting. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't greet us or even smile. As for the food, the salmon waterzooi was very good and well-presented, but unfortunately, the main course was far too overcooked, even though we ordered it medium-rare. We pointed this out to a waiter: no apology, and a surprising response: "Oh, the same thing happened to me just yesterday." In short, it's a good place if you're lucky and will receive a warm welcome, depending on what you order. Avoid the meat unless you like it well-done.

02/01/2026: While returning from England, we were looking for something to eat and found this place randomly on Maps. We really liked it; the place is very clean and the döner kebab is quite delicious, compared to the ones in the Netherlands. If you pass through this area, you should definitely get a döner wrap with fries.

17/03/2026: We live three hours away, but it's a must-visit for my wife and me. She finds authentic Southeast Asian flavors in this restaurant. The dishes are excellent and traditional, with a special mention for the lemongrass chicken. In addition, the service is friendly, the owners are very welcoming, open to conversation, and willing to accommodate last-minute changes. It's no wonder the restaurant has been around for so many years.
