Not a single candle.
The service was mediocre and the politeness appalling: barely a hello and no goodbye or even a "would everything be alright?"

28/03/2026: On March 28, 2026, I celebrated my retirement in the main hall. There were 53 of us, and we were all delighted with the venue. Everything was perfect, from the incredibly kind staff! The meal was delicious (hats off to the kitchen!), the service was amazing, and I was so glad I'd chosen this place. In fact, it gave some of the other guests an idea. Thank you again a thousand times!

16/06/2026: We went with my mother for lunch for Mother's Day. We received a warm welcome. The staff were very attentive, efficient, and offered helpful advice. The meal was excellent and of high quality. I immigrated to the Paris region where it's rare to find welcoming people in restaurants... At L'Enfant du Pays, I felt the kindness of the miners' families... my childhood. Thank you to the owners.

12/06/2026: A great first experience a few days ago. The weather was lovely, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful terrace with its view of the belfry. The service was friendly and the food was really good. I recommend it!
10/06/2026: Sewer smells from the entrance, very friendly staff, however, prices are high compared to the quality. I ordered a Dame Blanche for dessert, which the description on the menu looked tempting, but once served, I was very disappointed. The small ice cream sundae looked like something for a child. I looked for the hot chocolate (which was listed on the menu) but couldn't find it, and the bill was exorbitant. The wait was long despite having a reservation and arriving at 12 pm.

15/05/2026: Excellent crêperie in Arras! The crêpes are generous, well-filled, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff remains friendly despite the crowds. One small drawback: the wait can be quite long. But the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I recommend it if you're not in a hurry!

18/12/2025: We were looking for a traditional pub, so I called to check if the restaurant was open, specifying that we were looking for a pub... However, when we arrived, we were only able to get a meal from the chip shop menu.
Nevertheless, the service was good, the portions were quite generous, and the price was reasonable.
