27/09/2026: Had a weekend in Calais with my family, came here for breakfast. And I can say hand on heart that every single thing we had was amazing. Panini's a burger and a cake all exceptionally good. If we end up in Calais again sometime we will be back here for any meal of the day.

09/09/2026: A very warm welcome, an amuse-bouche offered with the aperitif—it was a perfect prelude to the rest of the meal, it was so delicious. Indeed, the fish duo I ordered, as well as the mango-raspberry soufflé, were excellent. I don't usually use sauce, but this time I had to because the sauce was divine. Kudos to Corinne and Philippe, everything was perfect.

06/09/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for three years. The welcome and service are always excellent. The food: a wide variety of dishes, appetizers, and desserts, top-notch presentation, and excellent quality—all homemade. A true restaurant!
The atmosphere is friendly, and they strive to please without being pushy, maintaining a high level of professionalism and hygiene. Kudos to your entire team (and to the adorable dog at the end of service)!

Spacious and pleasant room (no coffee machine, unfortunately) and the Wi-Fi was a bit weak. Superb breakfast (truly homemade) served by a very friendly young woman. Overall, a positive experience.

Quiet, clean, and spacious rooms.
Excellent cuisine. Always a very warm welcome.
For a business trip, the mobile network isn't ideal.

31/05/2026: We'd been wanting to try it for a while, and we finally did today.
What can I say except that the welcome was incredibly warm and friendly? Both the owner and the waitress were very kind, smiling, and welcoming.
The food was delicious! We ordered the small steak frites, and we each had two butcher's cuts and tripe—everything was fantastic! The tripe was exceptional. The desserts were also delicious, and all at an unbeatable price. We highly recommend this bistro.
30/04/2026: Passing by on a Wednesday at lunchtime, I had a superb discovery: excellent cuisine made with top-quality ingredients, all served by a smiling and attentive waitress.
In short, avoid the big restaurant chains because there are little gems like La Charrue in the villages 😉

23/05/2026: A very nice experience. The place is simple, with a slightly retro, vintage decor.
As for the food, the chicken ramen is very good. A great place for a simple and different kind of meal.
I approve and recommend this restaurant.

The staff is friendly and efficient. So I recommend it!

05/08/2026: Amazing location, the view is superb. We went to eat there, but there were no seats outside. The food looks good. The next day we went for a refreshing drink.
Sat and enjoyed the view and warm weather. We would definitely comeback when we’re in the neighbourhood.
