06/05/2026: We loved this restaurant so much that we went back the next day. Not a single flaw: the combinations were bold and harmonious. The feta and pea tartlet was a wonderful discovery. Excellent wine list.

16/05/2026: The service was quick and very friendly. The mussels in cream sauce were delicious, but I must admit I was disappointed with the fries. They advertised fresh fries, so I was expecting homemade ones, but they weren't, and I didn't appreciate them. Everyone has their own tastes, of course, but not mine.

25/05/2026: Excellent food ruined by disastrous service Arriving as a family of five at 7:50 pm, the evening started off well with a quick order for our aperitifs. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of interminable waits. The lack of efficiency was glaring, but the most frustrating aspect was the lack of proactive service: we had to intervene ourselves several times to request our drinks, without any improvement. To top it all off, our waitress, clearly overwhelmed, found the time to chat at length and repeatedly with a table of acquaintances right behind us. It's a real shame, because we ate very well. The dishes were high quality, but the overall experience was spoiled. Tired of waiting, we finally gave up and left before finishing our meal: the restaurant thus missed our order of four desserts and two after-dinner drinks. A very bad experience in terms of service.

27/05/2026: A very pleasant dinner on the lovely patio (the weather was gorgeous). The food was superb (the spiced foie gras was divine!) and the service was efficient and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

08/06/2026: Small coffee bar with a limited selection of sandwiches and a wide variety of cakes and pastries. The (grilled) sandwiches are very tasty. Very friendly service. Bonus: everything is very clean: the tables are cleaned with a spray after every visitor and finally a clean toilet!

07/06/2026: Discovering this place, which recently took over. The welcome was courteous, although the question "Did we make a reservation?" felt a bit patronizing... surprising... The waitress who burst out of her office like a whirlwind was equally unexpected, the plate with the warning "careful, it's hot" placed directly on the napkin (so I was going to burn my fingers?), the lingering smell of sweat that practically allowed you to follow the second waiter's trail, the toilet door desperately left open to the dining room—all of this reeked of neglect. The food itself was decent. The bread had clearly seen better days, as it was half-dried. And unfortunately, the appetizing apricot-rosemary coulis panna cotta was replaced by a red fruit coulis topped with a slice of orange—spot the mistake... In short, a place offering fairly good value for money but lacking in maturity. Worth revisiting in a while to try the terrace.

28/04/2026: We ordered couscous and tagine. We picked up our order: the welcome was very friendly, and they offered us tea while we waited for our order to be prepared. Honestly, we thoroughly enjoyed it!! It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it.

12/06/2026: A fantastic discovery at L'Estaminet Le Pain de la Bouche in Lens! They serve authentic Northern French cuisine, generous and delicious. The andouille sausage gratin with Maroilles cheese is simply amazing: meltingly tender, rich, and perfectly complemented by fries cooked in beef fat – a real treat. And to finish, the "pain de chien" (a type of bread) served with crème anglaise is a true delicacy. A must-visit for lovers of Northern French specialties, with homemade dishes that evoke the best of tradition. I'll definitely be back!
