27/09/2024: Friendly and dynamic staff, despite the rain we had a pleasant time, good quality meals and entertainment, to do as a family, plan half a day to take the opportunity to discover everything, we will be happy to come back in good weather.

06/12/2024: Accueil très sympathique de l'équipe aux petits soins pour les clients. Les plats sont excellents, produits frais et de qualité. Les desserts sont faits maison ! les profiteroles et crème brulée : un délice ! Prix "normal" pour la qualité demandée : Poulet au maroilles 16.80 €..... crème brulée 5.50. Frites maison également ! Nous y retournerons : il vaut mieux réserver !
14/11/2024: We had a lovely lunch at La Taverne De Duchenot today for my partners birthday.
When we arrived it was just after midday and it was nice to see lots of locals enjoying lunch.
Both of the waiters that served us were extremely polite and their English was very good.
We both chose the lunchtime offer of 3 courses from a set menu for €21.90.
The charcuterie board starter was very nice and the steak with shallot sauce was also excellent.
The dessert choices were chocolate mousse or cafe gourmand. We both chose the cafe gourmand and it was delicious.
Overall we had a very pleasant lunch and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Saint-Omer.

29/09/2024: Une cuisine pour bobo faite de mélanges hasardeux donnant un résultat souvent insipide. Nous sommes vraisemblablement arrivés dans la semaine butternut/noisette.
Heureusement le dessert à relevé un peu la note, bien que je n'ai toujours trouvé l'intérêt d'une chips de cèpe d'un millimètre d'épaisseur avec du chocolat sous plusieurs textures mais en crème pour la majorité.
A noter toutefois une belle cave et un service irréprochable.
25/09/2024: Très bonne expérience gastronomique accompagnée d’une très belle vue donnant sur la plage de Wimereux, qui plus est. Très bon choix de vins pour accompagner les plats. Mérite largement son étoile.

31/08/2024: If you have children go your way. The waitress can't stand them. She allows herself to scold a 16-month-old baby who coos too loudly. She puts us in the way and complains that we are in the way. I've never seen a waitress so bitter. I observed her speaking to her colleague with such unkindness, which made it clear to me that the problem was with her. Seeing the other comments on this subject it seems common; and Given the answers you give to clients, you are not ready to work there. Too bad you are losing customers.

14/11/2024: Being allergic to anthocyanins, a very rare allergy, the cook took the time to personalize my dish, from the way of cooking the fish (divine sea bass fillet), to each vegetable added to the plate.
A marvel for the taste buds, the young man serving very pleasant and the cook an angel.
Small downside.... we were not able to return there the same evening because it was closed. :(

At snack time you can enjoy a good slice of cake with a good tea or homemade hot chocolate for those with a sweet tooth.
28/09/2024: Super nice person, super nice. A great welcome in this tea room. The orange fondant is delicious and the cheesecake is delicious.

10/11/2024: We had a delicious meal; the dishes were of excellent quality. The service was very friendly and fast, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. The acoustics in the restaurant create a pleasant atmosphere, and the delicious smell of the food fills the room. Reservations also went very smoothly. What is striking is the incredible price-quality ratio: the quality of the food is really top, while the price is surprisingly low. Highly recommended for those who want tasty and affordable food!
26/10/2024: Superbly renovated setting to discover the excellent flavors of Alix's always innovative cuisine and those of Aurélien's delicious desserts. Very friendly welcome. Absolutely worth discovering.

We had the 33€ set menu and it was all excellent food. I would recommend this restaurant. Thank you.

03/09/2024: I recently dined at Au Pain d'Alouette restaurant, and it was a very good experience. The dishes were delicious, well prepared and flavorful. A big shout out to the waitress, who did an excellent job of being attentive and smiling throughout the meal.
Overall, everything was okay and we had a nice time. If you are looking for a good restaurant with quality service, Au Pain d'Alouette is an address to recommend!
