15/04/2026: Huge place with so many products to choose from. Great bakery and plenty of fresh bread and cakes. Can get busy at the checkouts but that's to be expected. Definitely worth a visit if you want to stock up on a wide range of goods.

12/04/2026: There's no cashier at the gas station and no way to get help if you want to pay in cash; plus, the diesel is poor quality.

20/04/2026: I came on Saturday the 18th with my partner and son and frankly, I was very disappointed with the food. Everything was smaller: fries (10 fries), small burgers, and the steak was cold... it's not what it used to be... very expensive for what's on the plate.

18/04/2026: Quick and friendly service. The Forest burger with mushroom sauce is delicious! The hot fries are always top-notch! A table of 20 this Thursday evening slowed the service down a bit, but that's to be expected! Reservations aren't possible, so try to arrive early to avoid a long wait at the entrance or if you want to be served quickly.

06/05/2026: We arrived shortly before 1 p.m., and there were three of us. Five tables were occupied (maximum capacity 10-12 people). We were seated immediately. However, we had to wait a long time for the menu. The server was also working behind the grill, plating the food, and pouring drinks. It wasn't easy to be efficient. For our order, we wanted two meat dishes: a 250g/300g rib-eye steak (€22) from the menu, with fries and vegetables. My colleague ordered the chicken escalope with fries and salad. For the beef, the only option was the largest (and most expensive...) cut at 500g/550g (€32). And of the four homemade sauces, only the pepper sauce was available. It wouldn't have been too difficult to have sauces prepared in advance. After nearly an hour's wait, the dishes finally arrived. My steak, ordered rare, turned out to be, when it was carved onto my plate, blue, bloody, and well-done in places! Indeed, my colleague noticed after ordering that it had been cooked on the grill... but with a blowtorch 🤦‍♂️ The fries, frozen of course (typical Northern French cuisine), and the vegetables were tasteless and almost sickening. As a bonus: you leave smelling of grease thanks to the superb "open-air" grill. I finished the steak as best I could, leaving a large portion that was incredibly rubbery. The vegetables remained almost unchanged on the plate, and the frozen fries were no different. In the end, a negative experience, especially since we ended up at this restaurant based on all the positive reviews! - Endless wait times despite the restaurant being practically empty - Overpriced meat that was poor quality and undercooked - Tasteless side dishes and garnishes - Grilled aroma as an extra charge While it's true that you get to choose your table and the waiter was quite friendly, this hardly makes up for everything else.

22/12/2025: Restaurant closed - their catering service: HOW DO I END UP WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS MEAL FOR 11 PEOPLE ON DECEMBER 21ST?! My advice: RUN AWAY!! Tuesday, October 7th, request for a meal for 12 people - Reply from Ms. Manier on October 8th: "Hello, I just checked with the gentleman, there's no problem if you are more than 10 people. Thank you for your feedback on the meal of August 26th. Regarding the choice of meal, I'll let you choose from our menus on our Facebook page, which have already been offered in previous months." Followed by 5 text messages from me with no reply from Ms. Manier!!!!! D-Day, December 21st, 10:00 AM… I called to pick up the food, “Yes, I’ll ask Monsieur… (????!!!!!) I’ll call you back…” No phone call, but a nice message (it’s easier that way) from Mrs. Manier: “I just got off the phone with my husband, he told me he hadn’t confirmed the order for December 21st (FALSE! SEE FIRST REPLY!!) With his new job, it wasn’t compatible with the end-of-year holidays.” (WHY DIDN’T SAY THIS BEFORE AND WHY DIDN’T YOU REPLY TO MY 5 MESSAGES?) 1. A LIE, as evidenced by the October 8th message!! 2. Communication between the couple = ZERO - 3. No apologies, no "we're sorry,"... figure it out with your 11 guests, basically... and an arrogant young woman on the phone... 👏🏼 AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY'RE NOT SERIOUS

07/05/2026: Good seafront restaurant, quick service, welcoming manager. The pollock fillet with vegetables was very good, and the crème brûlée served with the gourmet coffee, which arrived flambéed, was superb. I ate there for lunch and it was packed, so be sure to book ahead.

08/02/2026: We went there for the first time and we'll definitely be back!! We ate there and the pizzas were amazing. The staff were super friendly, smiling, and professional. We ordered and were served quickly 👌 The place was very clean, nothing to complain about, just go without hesitation!!

17/11/2025: For a dinner for four with friends on Thursday evening, November 13, 2025, it was an excellent experience. A huge thank you to Mr. Joss and the students who prepared a superb gourmet meal for us, with wines perfectly paired with each course. The main course, a sirloin steak Wellington with vegetables, was succulent and kept warm in a cloche-style serving trolley reminiscent of the finest vintage pieces! Congratulations again to the teachers and students for this wonderful evening.
