15/04/2026: Huge place with so many products to choose from. Great bakery and plenty of fresh bread and cakes. Can get busy at the checkouts but that's to be expected. Definitely worth a visit if you want to stock up on a wide range of goods.

29/05/2026: Since we'd eaten there several times before—the last time being two years ago over Pentecost—we were all the more excited to spend our first evening there enjoying moules-frites. We went straight there in the afternoon upon arrival to reserve a table for the evening and were a little surprised by the menu… Our beloved oysters, which are always incredibly fresh in France, were missing, especially when paired with a glass of white wine…they're always a great snack, too. ;-) The other dishes were rather simple. At least moules-frites were on the menu. The draft beer was good. However, the service wasn't particularly attentive to us… The French waiter launched into a torrent of French that we couldn't process. Admittedly, we only speak a few words, and you can't expect them to understand German. We certainly don't expect that in France. But everyone should be able to understand a few words of English… or if you realize you hardly speak any French, perhaps you should speak a little slower and stick to nouns… The waiter completely ignored all of this and refused to be persuaded to talk to us. The menu, which we had asked to see in advance to have a look at it for the evening, was very disappointing. Because of the anticipated communication problems, we ended up having dinner elsewhere. Unfortunately, the atmosphere had lost the charm of our previous visits.

24/05/2026: Arrived at 1:25 PM for a 1:30 PM reservation. At 1:45 PM, a waitress seated us. Despite the heat, she came to take our order elsewhere, cleared the neighboring tables, and ignored us. It was time for us to leave. Not a word from this waitress to ask why we were leaving. A restaurant to avoid. I won't be giving them a good review. Don't go there.

I also had the pleasure of spending an afternoon there, and I discovered a country bistro, a rare find, with a soul of real, genuine people. It's wonderful to see that such places still exist. 10/05/2026: An establishment I definitely wouldn't recommend. I can understand that it's difficult at 10 PM because it's the end of the day. The hamburger was cold, and the fries were even worse. The restaurant closes at 11 PM, and at 10:30 PM they turn off the lights and you finish eating in the dark. The staff wasn't great and wasn't friendly.

09/05/2026: The menu was half cold. The place has been in poor condition since my last visit; they must have changed cleaning staff since then? The bathroom floor was slippery with toilet paper everywhere. The lobby floor was dirty, and the areas between the tables and benches weren't great. However, the service was quite fast, with most of the staff being young, smiling, and energetic.

10/05/2026: My brother and I did the Tourquet tour, best bar ever! Incredible service, incredibly kind waiter and waitress, I highly recommend it!

17/03/2026: We came for a drink before dinner. A very warm welcome, a cozy and beautifully decorated place with delicious planter's punch – enough to keep you there for hours. The owners are very friendly. In short, we'll definitely be back, and it might even become our go-to spot for a special child-free evening.
