19/08/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this place. Making customers wait at the gaming area when the woman clearly came out of her bar and saw us, then chatted... and the man at the bar did the same. We finally left. Close the gaming area if you can't even serve customers and say hello!!

25/07/2026: The three of us came for drinks. We asked for a carafe of water before ordering our drinks. The waitress told us there weren't any carafes! Instead, she offered us three glasses of water. When it came time to pay, what a surprise! The glasses of water were chargeable, even though we'd already ordered drinks. Furthermore, the waitress hadn't warned us beforehand. €2 for a glass of tap water—outrageous!

15/08/2026: Keep walking, there are much better restaurants right next door. The service was far too slow: an hour and a half wait for two measly salads, completely lacking in character. My best wishes to the waitress who was doing her best.

14/08/2026: We shared a meal today with my children at lunchtime. The service was impeccable, with no faults whatsoever, either in the kitchen or with the service. Judging from other comments, the Roquefort sauce could have used a little more Roquefort, but it didn't spoil the taste at all and allowed us to appreciate the whole dish without an overpowering cheese flavor. That's really just nitpicking! 🤪 We ordered rib-eye steaks, which were delicious, flavorful, and especially tender. The Welsh burger and the Greek salad were also very good. I also want to commend the waitress and the cook, who provided excellent service between the two of them. Ladies, bravo to you! You did a fantastic job, and without any waiting. We will definitely be back. It was a real pleasure to eat at your restaurant. I also want to highlight the excellent value for money, and with a view overlooking the top of the basilica, what more could you ask for? I don't understand the rating; this restaurant deserves at least 4.5/5. By constantly nitpicking, small restaurants like this one will disappear, and we'll only have chains. Take the time to look around and appreciate the value of genuine service. Go without hesitation; you won't be disappointed.

26/10/2025: A reservation in August for the weekend of 10/31/25 to 11/2/25 for my husband's birthday and this Thursday the hotel calls us to cancel our reservation due to a boiler problem. I ask him if he has an alternative solution because it is a school holiday weekend and a football match so the surrounding hotel is full, he tells me no! I find myself without a solution a week before our departure the only response I got from them is be glad I let you know. I will never come to your hotel!!!

16/11/2025: WARNING!!! Tonight we placed an order and ran into a problem: first, after placing our order online, we received a phone call informing us that the card machine in the store wasn't working and that the others were being delivered. When my son went to pick up the pizzas and paid in cash, one was missing, and we only noticed it when we got home. He went back to the store, and another employee showed the total of our order on his till, revealing a shortfall of €45 compared to the amount we had paid in cash! They then confirmed that the card machine was working. We did, however, receive the missing pizza, thankfully. Very disappointed!

24/10/2025: A real horror! Run away before even entering! Bad reception, no hello, stared at by the waiters, they made us feel like we were in the way. We left before even ordering... I never thought I'd experience this!

01/08/2026: Hello! Don't go there, the wait was endless. I didn't come to the beach to wait for my food... The fries were terrible. I'm usually not one to leave bad reviews, but this awful restaurant ruined my afternoon. Over an hour and a half wait... All that for a super greasy ribeye steak and barely warm fries. The waitresses were running around everywhere, but I think they only have one person in the kitchen to make money. Definitely don't go there.

01/08/2026: Upon arrival, we were told to take a seat and that someone would be with us... in the end, we were given a menu for three after at least 20 minutes, and told to scan the QR code. We waited another 20 minutes before anyone took our order. Then we waited at least another 40 minutes for our food... If the wait had been worth it, I would have given it a better rating, but the food wasn't very good (the rib-eye steak was full of fat, the goat cheese salad was small, and there was no bread...). We had planned to spend time enjoying the beach, but we ended up spending more time waiting to be served. The waitresses were running around everywhere, yet the wait was incredibly long... Perhaps it would be a good idea to have more staff in the kitchen to serve us faster!

30/05/2026: Unpleasant manager, €20 worth of scratch cards + 2 Amigos and 2 cans of beer. We sat down for 2 minutes, the Amigos weren't even finished, and we were kicked out. The reason? The can was "to go." There are other ways to say it. I understand why there's nobody in the middle of Calais North; the tobacconist is much better.

15/07/2026: The water sports center is closed for renovations. This could be mentioned on your website to avoid causing frustration, especially for children.

30/01/2026: A very convenient park for a quick walk with the dog. Parking is available nearby. There's a children's playground. The paths are fairly well maintained. It's a little less fun since the artificial lake was removed, but it's still pleasant for a leisurely stroll.

29/05/2026: Discovered during a heavy downpour. We went inside and were pleasantly surprised by the decor, admittedly elaborate, but perfectly suited to our tastes. Value for money is definitely the right term here. The food was good and varied. The only surprise was having to pay before eating, due to some unscrupulous operators. A pleasant experience nonetheless.

23/05/2026: 3 Stars is the current average rating, and it's my rating too! ✓ We were seated upon arrival and received a warm welcome. → We were asked to pay immediately after being seated. → While I understand the need to pay immediately (in case of a non-paying customer), it would be helpful to have this clearly stated (on the doors, for example) to avoid any surprises. • The buffet was smaller than some other restaurants of this type, but there was still plenty to eat. → However, the presence of plastic (cellophane) on the sushi and maki intrigued me. I turned my head and saw flies... I think it's related, but I wonder why this isn't also done on the meat and fish dishes? → The sushi deserves some attention; there's a lot of rice (far too much, it's a solid block) and it's too vinegary. → The maki rolls, on the other hand... are good except for the avocado ones; the avocado wasn't ripe at all (very, very hard). ✓ The grill service is quite good. ✓ The meats are good overall. → The nuggets are very dry. ✓ The desserts are very good. → Be aware, however, that there are no descriptions of the ice creams. You have to guess the flavors... In conclusion: This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant that remains accessible (even for people with disabilities). It offers a warm welcome and respectful staff. The atmosphere is calm with traditional music playing in the background (which is fairly discreet). The decor is understated. A few details need improvement, as mentioned above. Currently, the prices are reasonable. Weekday lunch: €14.90 Weekend, evening, and holidays: €19.90

28/07/2026: Good evening, Well, I think like many others, I got ripped off like a typical tourist. I wanted a good pizza for myself and my dad, €15 for a pizza, no problem, I'm ready to pay €20 if the quality is there. Attached is a photo of the "carbonara" pizza I bought. I only opened the box 5 minutes after picking it up. 🤮🤮 How embarrassing! 😨 (I also got a kebab pizza, it was as empty as my appetite while listening to the pizzas). Have a good evening and avoid this place ❤️❤️

23/07/2026: Had a delicious baguette with cheese, beef, ham, and burger sauce. It's also very filling.
