12/04/2026: We stumbled upon this place, stayed for ages, and came back the next day to stay even longer! All thanks to Marie-Jo and her son Christophe, the funniest, most charming, and welcoming pizza makers we've ever met! You rarely expect to find a joke contest in restaurants, but here it's a reality! I mustn't forget that the pizzas were delicious, varied, and incredibly affordable in a village that's cheap everywhere else. Viva el Che!

01/11/2025: Great! We arrived with the joy of the south, full of energy, and that's wonderful! I recommend this pizzeria! Low prices, friendly pizza maker, nice place. All good points, all credit!

05/04/2026: We stopped at Chalet des Mérégers on a recommendation for their pizza. The welcome was warm, and we were told to expect a 40-minute wait, which was fine. The drinks arrived quickly. But then… nothing. After 30 minutes, our glasses were empty, and the waitress had disappeared. At 60 minutes, we asked where the pizza was: "It's coming." At 75 minutes, the same thing happened: "It's on its way." After an hour and a half, we left without eating. What disappointed us most was the attitude: whenever we asked questions, the waitress seemed annoyed, as if we were difficult customers. The beginning was promising, but the friendliness quickly evaporated. Avoid.

30/09/2025: A charming riverside café on the banks of the Ardèche, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a warm welcome and savoring a delicious salad, some of which feature wonderful local Ardèche produce. Well done to the whole team, and see you next year!

22/09/2025: Very disappointed with the gîtes. We booked a two-night weekend stay, including dinner, lunch, and breakfast. We left in the middle of the night – it was so hot! Impossible to sleep, no air conditioning! We had a mediocre meal on Friday evening. We arrived Friday and left Friday night – shameful! The weekend was expensive!! In short, a place to avoid, at least in the summer.

05/11/2025: I ordered 4 pizzas for delivery and was told there would be a 30-minute wait. I was surprised and very happy. The pizzas were generously topped and cooked perfectly! I'll definitely be ordering again!

24/04/2026: Avoid at all costs... I ordered a slice of custard tart, a donut, and two drinks to eat in. The tart was in a refrigerated display case, but under a spotlight, so it wasn't fresh, and the donut wasn't any better. The drinks weren't very cold either. I mentioned it to the person who went to check, and they just said, "Oh, okay," and that was it. An employee, I think the manager, was sitting near us and heard everything but didn't lift a finger, too busy on social media... Shameful considering the price we paid...

29/03/2026: Thank you to Samantha for the impeccable service. No complaints whatsoever. Regarding the remarks made to the employees in front of customers, that needs to be addressed… Otherwise, the meal was excellent.

29/03/2026: We were having a lovely family meal until the owner started belittling Samantha, the kind waitress who looked after our table from beginning to end. She did everything she could to make sure we had a wonderful meal. But when dessert arrived, the owner came by and ruined the atmosphere by criticizing Samantha's service. Without him, the meal was pleasant and relaxed. I really don't appreciate this behavior. When an employer has a comment to make to an employee, they shouldn't do it in front of the other customers. He spoiled the atmosphere at our table. It's a shame. The meal itself was very good.

11/04/2026: Even though they don’t have gluten free options marked on the menu, there are some options of meat (chicken, Steak, fish, duck) and sides from which to choose.

11/02/2026: In July 2025, we met the new owners. The welcome was warm, and our dog was welcome too. The pizzas were delicious and generously topped, and the service was friendly. Another great change was the more varied menu. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the following week. We'll definitely eat there again on our next trip to Oléron.

06/10/2025: A great restaurant for a good meal with friends or family. Fresh, high-quality produce. I recommend the fish with rosemary mashed potatoes.

05/04/2026: The pastry was great, but the filling was really lacking, which is a shame. Not enough cheese.
