14/02/2026: Absolutely disgusting, I've never seen anything like it in my life. Mussels from Intermarché, they put some kind of cheese in them, it looks like they just threw it in like pâté, disgusting fries, and that's not all. Look at the photos, judge for yourself.

14/09/2025: Hello, They must have tampered with the website because when we searched for Restaurant L'escale in Étretat, we ended up with a hotel! A restaurant ranked among the worst. Tourist trap. We wanted a pizzeria; my husband had seen a pretty good one, and we ended up here by mistake! Frozen pizzas, improbable dough! We didn't want to have dessert there! Everyone around us was leaving half their pizzas! Impressive! However, the quality is high for the price. Pizza Regina is the same price as those in St. Tropez or Cannes! Should be closed. Really disappointing, like the plastic decor everywhere!

20/08/2024: Très bonne adresse : les plats étaient délicieux, et bien présentés. Le personnel a été des plus agréables, et serviables : nous avons pu changer de table en terrasse car le soleil était bien trop incommodant. Et le restaurant est bien situé, ce qui ne gâche rien ! Une bonne expérience que je recommande !

12/08/2024: Restaurant exceptionnel ! Les pieds dans le sable face à la mer, une déco superbe, des serveurs adorables, gentils, disponibles. On prend notre temps, aussi longtemps qu'on veut, personne ne vous presse, bien au contraire, on peut même se baigner entre deux. Coucher du soleil avec un concert gypsy incroyable ! Les cocktails sont supers et les pizzas valent le détour, elles sont succulentes. Soirée inoubliable assurée.

02/08/2024: Très déçus cette année . Restaurant où nous allons dîner régulièrement depuis 5 à 6 ans mais cette année pas terrible . 1 ère soirée service moyen , nous demandons une table près de la mer , on nous dit « c est réservé «  et pourtant personne n’a pris les tables pendant notre repas .🤷‍♂️ Pizzas très moyennes alors que d’habitude excellente 🤩 On retourne samedi dernier et on nous dit à 22h10 pas possible de manger 😁 C’est plus ce que c’était …c’est dommage . À ce rythme les clients ne seront plus là bientôt.

25/08/2024: Article 22: Fuck yourself as best you can. Cocktails even colder than the waitress. Reception not the best, no hello, outside of the “full” restaurant period we end up settling down. Waitress who comes to take our order (Sorry for asking for a card) We choose a cocktail, with the waitress implying that “this type of order again”. Several customers leave the restaurant where we were and several who announce out loud “well we won’t be coming back”. It puts us in the mood... The setting is nice and the cocktails are good. We are local, I understand that it is the end of the season and that it is certainly tiring in terms of fatigue. Damage.

25/07/2024: Really a bad atmosphere, the boss is constantly shouting at her workers. As much in the preparation department, I am a former worker and I can tell you, I don't want anyone to work there, according to my experience, I have worked 4 years for them and still speaking badly to me like Philippe. And others who worked there Yes it's even worse, they've been working there for 30 years. And on top of that, not to mention that the food is not regularly renewed, so the fridge above is not cleaned every day, but once a week. Hello hygiene. On top of that, they don't take credit cards. Whereas now it's mandatory for all restaurants. These people don't pay a lot of taxes.

31/07/2024: Lake Chalain is very beautiful, but Google sends you to the Cap Fun campsite where the beach is not interesting. It is better to go to Doucier beach, located opposite on the other side of the lake. It is a supervised municipal beach with a single rate of €5 per vehicle. There is more space, more shade, pedal boat rental and a small snack bar. I recommend this beach.

03/09/2024: Pour l explication de cet avis modéré . Lieu très agréable, cuisine copieuse et bonne. Et quel dommage cet accueil .. une succession de remarques sur un ton pas très cool . C est dommage avec un plus de sympathie nous serions revenus .

03/09/2024: Bonjour étant en vacances à Brantome nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce restaurant pour le repas du soir, nous avons été accueillis agréablement bien le service au petit soin les plats sont délicieux et copieux. Si vous passez par Brantome je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter vous ne serez pas déçu.

29/08/2024: We went there to eat ice cream... 8 euros for a Mont Blanc coupe with only a caramel ball, caramel, and whipped cream... I find it expensive! and yet there must have been white chocolate ice cream...I'm still looking for it.
