08/12/2024: A good find, my wife and I were looking for an authentic restaurant and we found it with this establishment. The welcome is warm, and the cuisine is prepared with care by a passionate chef. The prices are more than reasonable given the quality of the work and the (fresh) products. The chef has come into the restaurant to see if everything is ok, he will speak to the customer as if they were regulars of the place. 21/11/2024: Tout d'abord le lieu sous une cave voutée, attention aux marches loin des turbulences numériques, un repos. Gouter la fondue au vin jaune et aux morilles, fabuleux, avec un verre de vin jaune. La carte se complète de plats jurassiens, et vous avez le choix. La réservation est recommandée et à cet effet demander la grande salle avec vue sur la cave de vins derrière une armoire en verre. Service rapide à l'écoute et souriant. Et ce n'est pas la première fois.

04/09/2024: Rental for 6 reserved for 4 people, master bedroom with an XXL bed + bedroom with 2 single beds + 1 convertible sofa. The kitchen space seems just right for 6 people. Balcony with views of the Morzine valley (sunset every evening from the balcony). Very well soundproofed residence. Loan of equipment for raclette and fondue, wide choice of board games for bad weather days. Car parked during baggage drop-off/loading (2 hours free under the residences) with trolleys available to collect belongings. Several walks possible directly from the residences on foot.

01/09/2024: We discovered this campsite in 2010 and were immediately won over by the beauty of the place, the functionality of the facilities, the impeccable cleanliness and the kindness and friendliness of Hervé and Arnaud. We have seen it grow over time in size and services offered: today it is certainly one of the most modern, functional and hospitable campsites of our long career as travellers/tourists. Les Rives du Lac is the ideal place for a stopover or for a multi-week stay. The pitches are large and shaded, there are three very well equipped children's play areas, a library, three swimming pools, two of which are covered, an excellent restaurant bar, free bike rental, toilets cleaned three times a day, always hot showers. There are accommodations in bungalows and mobile homes for all needs. We recommend looking at the website which is very well done and describes all the facilities available well. And then there is the staff, always super friendly, prepared and available to help and give advice, making the stay truly pleasant. We now feel at home, every time. And so we have returned often and willingly over the years: in the meantime we have had two children who are always enthusiastic about leaving for Veynes. We highly recommend it to everyone.

13/12/2024: Warm decor. Pizza garnished sparingly. I asked for a vegetable pizza: barely visible tomato sauce. 4 strips of red pepper, a quarter of an artichoke heart cut into 4, and a small new potato also cut into 4. 6 black olives as for the cheese it was barely visible. I paid without having dessert... too expensive and you can feel the savings on food... I won't come back!

07/12/2024: Very friendly staff, very affordable menu, hearty plate and very good dessert for lunch. In the evening, they only serve porter dishes. To be able to eat you have to book, I recommend the horse-drawn carriage next to Varces Isère 38
