16/09/2026: The food was very good, but the prices were outrageous. I understand inflation, but €9.50 for a taco is unacceptable; it's truly dishonest.

12/09/2026: Excellent kebab, the best in the neighborhood. The staff is always friendly and smiling. The dining area is pleasant and clean. Fast service. I highly recommend it.

08/08/2026: I've been to many coffee shops in Lyon, but this one remains my favorite. The drinks are original (which is worth mentioning...) and excellent, the decor is really cozy, in short, pure bliss!

A team-based, competitive puzzle to solve on the slopes of Croix-Rousse, followed by a tasting. It's easy to get caught up in the game, but fair play is key! 😁 A private evening with platters of crudités, charcuterie, cheeses, and drinks. Generous portions and a warm welcome. 🤗

24/06/2026: I had a truly wonderful time rediscovering Lyon thanks to Dorian, a super friendly and engaging guide. He brought moments from Lyon's history to life in a very vivid and even poetic way, with a moving reading of a poem by the Resistance fighter René Leynaud, and through issues of "Les Rues de Lyon" (The Streets of Lyon) and truly captivating comics from "L'Épicerie Séquentielle" (The Sequential Grocery). Two of his illustrators sketched the area during the tour and shared many interesting anecdotes with us—particularly about the history of the Canuts (silk weavers). They very kindly signed their artwork once we arrived at the restaurant "Le Bar des Guides Repères," a truly welcoming place that I highly recommend! Thank you for this wonderful experience! I'll be back for a tour of the streets of Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) and to revisit the history of the Canuts on the workers' hill ;) And also to grab a bite at your lovely restaurant, whose cooperative principle I appreciate and share! 01/09/2026: Excellent experience at Casabea. In a very warm atmosphere, we had a wonderful dinner. The servers were very professional. I highly recommend it and we will gladly return.

31/08/2026: After contacting the restaurant to ask if they cooked with peanut oil (as I have a severe allergy), and receiving confirmation from the person on the phone that they didn't, we booked a table for the evening. I had tried another restaurant just before, without a reservation, because they cooked exclusively with peanut oil. What a disappointment when I arrived at "Le Dôme"! They said they "don't cook with peanut oil," but all the dishes containing oil were made from a blend of oils that included peanuts (a cheap, cost-saving product). It's a shame; it's not the traditional recipe. Truffade has never been cooked that way, and it's rather clumsy (or dishonest) not to make that clear. By ordering a different dish, I still ate well, even if it wasn't anything extraordinary. The desserts didn't seem to be homemade.
