The quality is acceptable without being exceptional, and the flavors lack intensity. It doesn't quite deliver the explosion of tastes one usually expects in an Indian restaurant. A pleasant experience, but one that could be improved. There are better buffets out there. The mocktails are quite large, though :)

The dishes are flavorful, prepared with care and using high-quality ingredients. The prices are entirely justified given the quality of the food, and even very reasonable. Special mention goes to the welcome, which is exceptionally warm and kind. You immediately feel at ease. An authentic place that I recommend without hesitation. 29/06/2026: Quick and tasty, no complaints about the quality of the food. However, we were very disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding halal certification. We asked if the meat was halal, but the answer remained very vague. When we asked for certification, none could be provided. The manager explained that he intentionally didn't specify "halal" on the menu. Everyone can draw their own conclusions… 😏 For our part, we would have simply appreciated more clarity and transparency so that everyone could make their choice with confidence.

From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and the atmosphere authentic. For my starter, I had a magnificent salad with tomatoes, feta, and fresh cheese. The dish was as beautiful to look at as it was delicious to eat, with fresh ingredients presented to perfection. For my main course, I chose the paella with grilled pork, and it was another real treat. A generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed dish. What I particularly appreciated was the deliberate choice to offer only two dishes on the menu. This might seem surprising at first, but it's undoubtedly what allows them to achieve such a high level of quality. Here, they clearly prioritize the excellence of the ingredients and the mastery of the recipes over quantity. From the presentation of the dishes to the quality of the flavors, everything was remarkable. It had been a long time since a restaurant had impressed me so much. A team-based, competitive puzzle to solve on the slopes of Croix-Rousse, followed by a tasting. It's easy to get caught up in the game, but fair play is key! 😁 A private evening with platters of crudités, charcuterie, cheeses, and drinks. Generous portions and a warm welcome. 🤗

24/06/2026: I had a truly wonderful time rediscovering Lyon thanks to Dorian, a super friendly and engaging guide. He brought moments from Lyon's history to life in a very vivid and even poetic way, with a moving reading of a poem by the Resistance fighter René Leynaud, and through issues of "Les Rues de Lyon" (The Streets of Lyon) and truly captivating comics from "L'Épicerie Séquentielle" (The Sequential Grocery). Two of his illustrators sketched the area during the tour and shared many interesting anecdotes with us—particularly about the history of the Canuts (silk weavers). They very kindly signed their artwork once we arrived at the restaurant "Le Bar des Guides Repères," a truly welcoming place that I highly recommend! Thank you for this wonderful experience! I'll be back for a tour of the streets of Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) and to revisit the history of the Canuts on the workers' hill ;) And also to grab a bite at your lovely restaurant, whose cooperative principle I appreciate and share!
