From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the charm of the place: a warm welcome, an elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere, and a rare tranquility that makes you feel as if you've stepped outside of time. A true haven of serenity. Then came the dishes… magnificent, colorful, delicately floral, as visually refined as they were promising in terms of flavor. You immediately sense the care, sensitivity, and generosity behind each creation. Upon tasting, everything was perfectly executed: bold yet subtle flavors, precise pairings, rich and flavorful jus, and exquisitely delicate cooking. Special mention goes to the seven-hour lamb, absolutely meltingly tender and unforgettable. Each dish tells a story and evokes a genuine gustatory emotion. The service is attentive, discreet, and perfectly paced, which contributes fully to the experience. From beginning to end, this meal was a marvel. An inspired and inspiring table, where you leave happy… with only one desire: to return very soon.

11/05/2026: A wonderful discovery by chance on the way to Brancion. Excellent meal, very attentive service, a fine wine list, and prices that remain reasonable for fine dining.

10/05/2026: A wonderful experience. We chose the €36 menu and everything was delicious. As an amuse-bouche, we were offered a creamy asparagus soup and delightful little gougères. The farm egg with artichoke was excellent, as was the beef with gribiche sauce. The service was top-notch, professional, and pleasant. I highly recommend it.

04/05/2026: We stayed for one night with friends, including a “gastronomic dinner.” Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The hotel itself is beautiful, but upon arrival we were informed that the air conditioning would not be available (because they decided we don't need airco!!!). We were simply told to open the windows if it became too warm... not exactly a great start. Overall, despite the owners’ apparent willingness to do their best, the dinner was far from gastronomic standards. During the four-course meal, the pacing was extremely rushed: we received the second course barely three minutes after finishing the first. It felt as though the dishes had been prepared in advance and kept warm, ready to be served as quickly as possible, which clearly affected both texture and taste. Our overall impression is that the hotel and restaurant are struggling, and that this is reflected in an inconsistent level of service and a lack of confidence in execution. The concept and pricing suggest a high-end experience, but the reality does not match. For instance, €8 for a glass of cola or €18 for a glass of Viré-Clessé would be acceptable if the overall experience justified it but this is far from the case. Even the decision to limit the use of air conditioning gives the impression of cost-cutting at the expense of guest comfort. In its current state, the establishment would benefit from a complete rethink of its positioning and service standards, as the quality simply does not justify the prices charged.

27/04/2026: A fabulous experience in an ideal setting. A large, shaded (and non-smoking) terrace, and gourmet-level cuisine at brasserie prices. From the appetizers to the petit fours, everything is meticulously prepared, homemade using fresh, local ingredients. Special mention goes to the amuse-bouche (cauliflower panna cotta with hazelnuts and haddock) and the lamb prepared two ways (confit shoulder and leg). The children's menu of the day was perfect: chicken breast with its reduced jus, perfectly cooked baby vegetables, and homemade polenta. My three-and-a-half-year-old daughter loved it and didn't leave me a single bite. The service was very pleasant: one of our guests arrived over an hour late, and the waiter was very understanding. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

01/05/2026: A very warm welcome and quick service. A restaurant in a small village where the food is excellent. Fresh, local produce. Everything was perfect, from the aperitif to the dessert. We had a lovely time on the pretty terrace; it's well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

29/04/2026: A little disappointed with the shallot sauce and several of the salad leaves served as an appetizer were bad (a shame, as a simple check could have prevented the problem). The meal was normal but nothing special.

I had the joy of rediscovering Nycolas's cuisine, whom I had known back in the day at a fine-dining establishment in the Côte-d'Or. You can immediately tell he hasn't lost any of his passion: his love for the ingredients and his craft is still there, undiminished.
