24/09/2026: Passing through Aix, we were looking for a simple, unpretentious restaurant with appealing dishes... and we chose this restaurant without any regrets! A very pleasant terrace, parking, excellent service, perfect food, and friendly service... nothing to complain about!

30/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! We had read some reviews that weren't very encouraging, but we completely disagree with them. We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were incredibly friendly, smiling, and pleasant. 😊 The fondue and raclette were delicious, generous, and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had a fantastic time as a family. It just goes to show, it's always best to try it for yourself! We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return. 🧀❤️

18/09/2026: Summer: water sports and games for children. Hikes are possible from the town towards the surrounding hills, accessible to beginners. The route takes you higher up to Val Thorens for traverses at 3000 meters altitude. Have a good trip!

02/09/2026: During a stroll in Chambéry, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff were welcoming, cheerful, and accommodating. The menu looked tempting, but we had to choose and opted for the Savoyard gourmet salad, which was excellent. We skipped dessert, but it looked homemade and appetizing. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate to come and try some regional dishes!

02/09/2026: A place I usually enjoy visiting, but one I hadn't been to during the summer. I was very disappointed with my visit today; the staff were less friendly than usual. The drinks are good, but—and this is a drawback—all the signs are AI-generated, which detracts from the establishment's charm.

01/05/2026: The waiter got angry because we (a large group) left five minutes later than agreed. Before that, he tried to chase us away, and everything was a bit rushed and disorganized. Moreover, this gentleman took our dessert orders anyway, and it took 30 minutes before we received them. Then this guy got angry, kicked open the kitchen door, threw a glass on the floor (in the kitchen, of course), threw a raclette machine around, and pulled a plate away so quickly that a fork scraped against someone's arm. Idk the food was tasty though 🥹🥹

Everything here is fresh, seasonal, and homemade, and you can really taste it in every bite! 🥩🍔🍟 A big shout-out also to Claire Ma and Lionel, our server, for their warm welcome, kindness, and impeccable service. A lovely team that greatly contributes to the wonderful Savoyard atmosphere—friendly and welcoming. ❤️ And what can we say about the terrace? It's pleasant and sunny, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by nature even though you're right in the heart of the village… 🏔️☀️ Le Gros Cailloux is much more than a restaurant: it's a place where you eat well, feel good, and want to come back! Bravo to the whole team, and especially to Nico, Claire Ma, and Lionel 👏 A true gem of Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves, an absolute must-see! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/09/2026: Delicious...a small, somewhat hidden crêperie that's well worth the detour. Very friendly owners.

22/08/2026: A well-hidden gem of a restaurant, but it's definitely worth venturing inside. A welcoming duo, both in the dining room and the kitchen. The galettes and crêpes are incredibly generous (truly unbeatable value for money)! A real taste of Brittany in Savoy! Highly recommended!
