05/07/2025: We had a good meal in a lovely, warm setting and were greeted by a pleasant waitress, although she was a bit rushed. The dishes were good, but the chicken supreme lacked sauce and there weren't many potatoes to accompany it. The desserts were excellent. It's a shame that the place is quite small, which makes it quite noisy when there are people there. In addition, it was extremely hot inside (while it was 15 outside), and the heating was poorly regulated.

11/06/2025: Very nice place with very good food. We had a lovely dinner. Furthermore I drank a great local wine.

09/12/2024: Absolute best pizza I have had in a long time. One guy, one wood fired pizza oven, and an awesome experience!

10/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the Pont-de-Beauvoisin hypermarket. You can eat inside or outside, as they have a terrace. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open for lunch. I think the food is good for reasonable prices, and the service is good. I find the room echoes a bit when it's busy, but otherwise everything is perfect. You must make a reservation because it's often full. Otherwise, you have to wait about 45 minutes to an hour.

08/06/2025: We went there completely at random, but we were not disappointed at all. The staff was excellent, friendly, professional... We will definitely be back.

09/09/2024: Pretty refuge, located at the top of the chairlift. A beautiful terrace with a view of the valley. Fairly large rooms with single bunk beds. A drying room. Only downside: only one shower and one sink for the entire gîte 😓

05/11/2024: Always a good time to spend in this neighborhood bar. Cool and relaxing atmosphere. Consider taking advantage of World Tuesdays for different home cooking every time. A bar to recommend when hesitating to leave mainstream establishments. The terrace is pleasant as long as the temperatures are mild for those who are cold like me.

27/11/2025: Fries and mussels with rastegues sauce. €20 for a Thursday lunch, that's outrageous!!! I hope we don't get sick!!!

21/11/2025: A real gem! The pizzas are simply incredible; I've never had any so good. Special mention goes to the Burrata and the New York, which are absolutely divine. The burgers are just as excellent: very flavorful, generous, well-filled, and unbeatable value for money. You never leave hungry, quite the opposite! The service is always top-notch: the waitresses are lovely and the owners are very welcoming. A must-visit in Montmélian, which I recommend without hesitation!

10/09/2024: Cuisine délicieuse de l’apéro (Spritz) au dessert (Tiramisu). Nous étions 3, chacun une pizza différente mais un même avis, excellent! Les pizzas étaient vraiment bien garnies! Mention spécial au personnel de cette pizzeria; sympa, souriant et professionnel! Je vous recommande cette pizzeria à 1000%! (Mes parents sont retournés à l’Aroma pour manger une côte de bœuf, et toujours le même avis, très bon et énorme portion)

27/08/2024: Small pleasant terrace and very warm welcome with the smiling and professional waitress. Delicious pizzas, magnificent Italian salad and top-notch carbo pasta. Very nice also the little touch of génep offered when paying. We will come back with pleasure.

23/09/2024: We were received friendly and immediately put at ease. We were offered half board. Sublime meals and hearty homemade desserts. Always a kind word. We have a wonderful weekend. We sincerely thank them for their kindness.

16/09/2024: Passing through Mont Cenis for a tour in an Audi TT with our club, we reserved the evening in the restaurant La vielle poste. A great restaurant and a superb team! Meal more than generous and excellent value for money. The staff is there for you! It was so good that we booked breakfast the next day and we weren't disappointed either. We were able to taste honey from Poland, cold meats and pastries.... A great establishment

18/04/2025: We entered the place thinking it would be your average mountain restaurant. Place was messy with bad music but we didn't think much of it. There wasn't one free table, which was fine, so we sat on a mound, not disturbing or harming anyone. We got our sandwiches out as we were going to buy some drinks thinking it would be fine as we would've given them business, and there was no signs saying we couldn't do this. Not even two seconds after getting them out a very rude man charged over to us and started shouting at us in french, very rudely. Told us to get away even though we were about to order drinks, and it's not even our fault that there isnt any tables to spare. Sat outside the restaurant with our sandwiches and sat by our skis whilst being rudely stared at. Terrible experience and i had to convince my dad not to bash the man's jaw in because he was being a right idiot. Not the first time this has happened looking at other reviews. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!

14/07/2024: Une pâle imitation de ce qu'est un vrai restaurant à sushi tenu par des japonais. Il ne peut satisfaire que ceux qui ne connaissent rien à ce genre de cuisine.

12/07/2024: Exceptional dishes! The best sushi I've eaten so far, extra fresh fish, excellent fried beef noodles!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

03/01/2025: Probley the best choice that we have made this trip. If you are confused with all of the fancy restaurants in the mountains - don't bother. This restaurant is what your looking for Homey service and very good quality food is the the main event here. Not white table cloth but it is all about product and service. In the michelin guide for a good reason

The semi-gastronomic cuisine is refined, tasty and creative, highlighting local products with a nice touch of modernity. The setting is warm, ideal for a moment of relaxation and pleasure. Special mention for the impeccable service: attentive, discreet and very professional. Each dish is a journey for the taste buds. An essential address for lovers of good cuisine. 17/11/2024: We can't talk about the rooms..we tested the restaurant with its discreet charm with exposed stone walls, the colors are nice, lots of room to move around, the service is quite fast. the dishes are good and offered with good products (the entrecôte offered 300grs).. small downside for my dessert "an outrageously sweet apple crumble" very unfortunate😩😩.

17/08/2024: Discovered by chance and completely surprised. Great ambience with a great feel-good effect. Is also a sports bar. The food is upscale. The cocktails are made by experts. Prices are moderate. All in all, you have to go here if you want to get your money's worth.
