04/05/2026: Tried the fondue; the meat and fish were incredibly tender. Perfect atmosphere with fantastic owners. Looking forward to returning soon.

29/04/2026: I ate there for lunch today, and I've never eaten in such a delicious Chinese restaurant! Don't hesitate to go. I had the set menu for €12.90, and I thought the portion size was perfect for the price, and especially the quality!

23/03/2026: A very nice hotel with a spa and treatments where we had a great weekend. The bar and restaurant were perfect. The staff was very professional. I recommend it.

22/03/2026: The room with a lake view was very pleasant. The evening meal wasn't exceptional (set menu), but the breakfast was very generous. Access to the spa and pool was far too crowded. In a place like this, you're looking for peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy the facilities, and at the price you pay, it was a total disappointment. The spa treatment was very disappointing; it lasted 50 minutes instead of an hour, the room was cold, and no hot drink was offered to conclude what should have been a pleasant experience! And as for finding your way out, well, you're on your own. I don't recommend this place, and we won't be returning. A very expensive weekend getaway for what was provided!

06/04/2026: I tried several dishes here. Visited twice for lasagna ! It was very delicious. Tiramisu is very light and big portion. The pasta was having some seeds (that I didn’t pay attention on the description), so it was not really for me. They have very light genepi, good after a meal for shot.

24/04/2026: Bar with snacks and a mountain restaurant located at the top of the Cascades chairlift. Mountain and slope views. Indoor dining area and large terrace. We had some very good snacks, but as is typical in Val Thorens, the prices are excessive.

24/04/2026: Our favorite restaurant on the slopes! The Chalet de la Marine bistro perfectly combines freshness, quality, and price. Every year, it's a pleasure to return: top-notch ingredients, delicious cuisine, and a consistency that makes all the difference. Without a doubt, the best mountain restaurant for us!

12/03/2026: A truly unique experience. First, we were refused the menu; apparently, the effort of fetching it was too much for the waitress, Sophie. Then, there was an order error. We received a coffee and a hot chocolate instead of a tea. No problem, these things happen. However, there was a problem when the waitress sighed as we pointed it out. Finally, there was a billing error. I paid for a coffee and a hot chocolate, not a coffee and a tea. I only realized this after the bill arrived and didn't bother to ask for a refund of the few cents difference. Thanks a lot, Sophie.

19/03/2026: The fried escalope is a local institution, and the draft beers are delicious. The terrace is simply amazing. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: The welcome was very friendly, but the pizzas were inedible! One pizza wasn't cooked and had a questionable-tasting cheese, the other had a burnt crust and no base (no tomato sauce, no crème fraîche)... even though they're the only ones open on Sundays, absolutely avoid them!

06/04/2026: The food was spotless, despite a few minor oversights now and then, but nothing serious. The portions were good, and the quality was generally excellent. Once my pizza was burnt, but they replaced it. Great pizzeria, I recommend it.

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant, which has a 4.8 out of 5 rating. It was a disappointment. The tartiflette was very average. It lacked salt, which is unusual for a dish of this type. I ordered a crepe that was disgusting, rubbery. The waitress admitted that they weren't fresh. However, the setting is nice, and the waitress was very kind and competent. They did replace my dessert, but I still wouldn't recommend this restaurant!

07/03/2026: Excellent meal! The salmon ravioli gratin was delicious, as was the mountain burger. The steak tartare was also well-seasoned, and the duo of diots (sausages) was perfectly cooked. The desserts were very good too. Cocktails were great! Very pleasant service.
