19/07/2026: Located on the quayside overlooking the docks, L'Ardoise enjoys a pleasant setting. The restaurant boasts a lovely terrace with views of the port of Le Havre. The welcome was particularly warm. We settled comfortably under the veranda that evening. The menu is varied and offers some unusual dishes. We noticed original starters such as the Japanese-style fried egg with chickpea cream, or the avocado with poppy seeds, mango and celery insert, which made us want to explore this cuisine. These dishes were excellent! For our main course, we chose the veal kidneys with mushrooms, accompanied by homemade fries—a delicious dish. A very good restaurant and a wonderful discovery that we highly recommend when visiting Le Havre. It's best to make a reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly.

The wine has that name, and the rest was just a joke with the waiter 😉. An excellent restaurant with a great atmosphere that I highly recommend!! Thank you for this excellent time!!

28/06/2026: We ate at this crêperie for the first time. The terrace, with its relaxed, informal style, was lovely. The welcome and service were impeccable. The crêpes were excellent and very generous, with a wide selection (including several vegetarian options). The galettes were made entirely with buckwheat flour (no wheat flour mixed in), which is great for people with gluten intolerance. The homemade ice cream was delicious, with a special mention for the "ENOLIA" sundae. We had a wonderful time on Sunday, June 28, 2026. We highly recommend it! And we'll be back. 😃🌸

Your down-to-earth nature makes the experience even more enjoyable. It's a welcoming place, but above all, the food is delicious. The juices, the coffee, everything is perfect. 09/07/2026: We discovered this fantastic restaurant just steps from the Reformed Church. The manager greeted us with a big smile and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were celebrating a birthday, and she put the cake in the fridge and lit the candles just as we were about to eat it. Everything we ordered was delicious! The dishes are fresh, homemade, and honestly, very affordable! The lovely lady even offered us tea. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try Afghan food. 😋

A very warm welcome and friendly service from the owner, who has a keen eye for wine selection and a deep knowledge of his craft and ingredients, which are beautifully showcased by his wife in the kitchen. A superb find in Rouen!

I can tell you that when you leave the table, you're completely satisfied, but in the best possible way. The couple who are going to Le Lavandou. I recommend it 200%! Thank you again.

26/06/2026: I could give this restaurant 6 stars. What an unexpected pleasure. The staff could not have been more friendly and the food was exceptional. I thoroughly recommend the goats cheese. It was so creamy. This was fantastic value for money in a truly gorgeous location.
