22/07/2026: We were greeted with a fabulous, friendly welcome when we returned again for lunch today. The starter salad buffet was varied and delicious. Great size main portions. Tasty desserts. Very reasonable price for the Menu Complet and vin rouge for two. 😋😋 We will definitely return again when over this way. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

08/09/2026: There was a very unpleasant smell in this restaurant, enough to make you nauseous. Other customers reported the same thing, but it didn't seem to bother anyone…

08/09/2026: Cold meal, illegal display, especially broken glasses charged for the XL menu, drinks like Vittel (bottle size not specified at the dispenser) not correctly ordered. Words were exchanged between people behind the counter, later corrected by the manager, even exaggerated. There was a strong odor at the entrance of Quick, noticed by myself and several other customers who entered later, including children; I quote, "It stinks in here." After multiple exchanges with the manager that evening, there was absolutely no customer service. This was a first and last time for me, because I admit to making mistakes, but this seems to be a recurring issue.

13/09/2026: The restaurant and its ambiance are pleasant, but the food is average. A Parisian salad consisting mainly of lettuce and two slices of very lean ham... A dessert that lived up to its name, "small dessert." While the prices seem reasonable on the menu, I found it expensive for what was on my plate.

27/09/2026: Very nice. Facing the sea (be aware that it can be a bit noisy at high tide), attractively decorated. Could use a little updating. Very friendly welcome. Good breakfast. I recommend this hotel.

26/09/2026: The room was very well located, facing the sea. There was a serious lack of hooks in the bathroom and the bedroom. There was only one chair for the entire apartment. The staff were extremely kind and always ready to help. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility as there are steps and no elevator.

01/09/2026: I really don't see how anyone can give this place 5 stars. The pizza was tiny, not even the size of the plate, and tasteless. It was supposed to be an "oriental" pizza, but there was hardly any tomato sauce, and instead, it had three tons of pre-sliced, industrially produced merguez sausage—it was salty. In short, it's only good for a quick meal for locals. And in response to the owner: I have better things to do than go back to this place. It's pointless, in my experience, to tell the managers it's disgusting because it always ends badly. You can't handle criticism, as evidenced by your response. Your pizza is pure amateurism with absolutely no added value.

20/12/2025: We went to buy a photinia on December 19th for €59.95 because we had a €10 voucher. Unfortunately, we presented the voucher after the cashier had already taken our payment, and she couldn't do anything for us, but she still had the nerve to give us another €10 voucher! 😂 Madam, you're not very customer-oriented at "Jardins d'Avremesnil"; they're much nicer there, and I'm not even mentioning the quality/price ratio.

23/09/2026: The biggest pizzas in Rives-en-Seine, and excellent with the cheesy crust. It's always a pleasure to order from Pizzaland, and the team is truly fantastic and very friendly, offering discounts for orders over €50. Besides, we have big appetites, and there's a wide selection of pizzas in all sizes (from mini to giant mega, or even pizza by the meter). What's great is being able to mix and match to suit everyone's tastes; they can even make us a pizza with two or four toppings. For example, if you're four big eaters and want to order a mega pizza, you can choose between a cream or tomato base from the options available. Thanks to Mr. Barbe Grise, who's still in the kitchen with his young team. The future is in good hands...

09/10/2026: The staff is lovely and the restaurant is very convenient (mini hot buffet, conveyor belt with sushi, and dessert buffet). Unfortunately, the sushi wasn't up to par for me (too little fish/topping) and the rice wasn't "soft or sticky" enough, not like what I'm used to in other restaurants anyway.

22/09/2026: Review of Ottoman Palace Kebab in Rouen A beautiful setting, but a major disappointment on the plate. After our visit to Ottoman Kebab, we unfortunately left with very mixed feelings. Let's start with the positives: the welcome was quite friendly, the interior atmosphere was pleasant, and the decor was particularly stylish, with a rather upscale feel. The menu also looked appealing. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as soon as the food arrived. We ordered a Russian salad as a starter to share between two people. To our great surprise, the plate contained the equivalent of a small ladleful of salad, simply squashed in the middle of the plate. A very limited quantity indeed. We hoped to make up for it with the main courses… but another disappointment! My €17 kebab plate contained very little meat, accompanied by a small bowl of frozen fries. The only positive point: the small bowl of salad that came with it. At that price, I would have preferred a traditional kebab elsewhere. My wife, on the other hand, ordered a rare Black Angus ribeye steak for €27. The steak, which I estimate weighed between 150 and 180 grams, arrived far overcooked compared to the rare we requested. We also found the meat had an unusual taste, which made us question its freshness, without being able to determine the cause. I must, however, commend the waitress's professionalism. As soon as we pointed out the problem, she immediately offered to remake the meat. We declined, as we were already quite disappointed. The establishment was kind enough to offer us a small dessert and coffee as a gesture of goodwill. We appreciated this. In conclusion, a restaurant with beautiful decor and a pleasant welcome, but whose dishes unfortunately do not live up to the prices charged, at least not during our visit. My advice to those with a hearty appetite: look elsewhere if you're seeking generous portions and good value. While the restaurant might appeal to those who appreciate a pleasant setting, Rouen thankfully offers plenty of other options for enjoying a delicious meal.

23/10/2026: Poorly filled and not good. I wanted to try it, but I'm very disappointed. Avoid it! The kebab meat is an abomination. I really want to go get a refund.
