02/09/2026: It was everything we hoped a small country inn would be. Magnificent food; welcoming, knowledgeable service, and a lovely dining room. We felt the formule with cheese course added was an excellent value. We dined twice during our stay just up the road and would be there again if we didn’t live in Montpellier!

Everyone speak English:) In place like this food is also très bien. Everybody will find something delicious. I strongly recommend omelettes, onion soup and gnochi:)

24/08/2026: It's a real pleasure to return each time we're in Rouen. The service is warm, the decor refined, and the food delicious.
Special mention to the mango sticky rice, which I absolutely love.

The samosa and fried shrimp appetizers were excellent.
However, the bo-bun was a huge disappointment 😞
It was tasteless, and we got pasta instead of rice vermicelli 😏
Nothing authentic about it.

For me one of the special elements to visiting France is cafe life.
Pavement coffees.
The versatility of the French Cafe, where coffee expands into beer, food, good wine and culture.
In Rouen there is no better cafe that the gorgeous art deco Metropole.
Atmospheric, lovely coffee & food and a wonderful people watching spot as locals and tourists alike come & go from the close by station.
The Croque Monsieur is superb.
If you are in town this is a must sit and experience.
05/08/2026: Wednesday, August 5th, 5pm. You sit down, the waitress looks at you, you stay for 10 minutes, she doesn't come to see you... You leave!

13/09/2026: Anyone visiting Dieppe who wants to eat moules frites should go there. A small selection, freshly caught Bouchot mussels, fantastic Spritz Normand, delicious Muscardet Sèvres e Maine to accompany the mussels, very original and extremely friendly staff in a cozy harbor atmosphere. And you should definitely treat yourself to a Calvados to finish off your meal 😉

04/08/2026: While on vacation we stayed in Vieux-Port, there are not many restaurants closeby and I surely didn't expect high quality. But the reviews do not lie. The food was very good and the atmosphere + service were up to standard too.
There is only the menu of the day, which is 4 courses. Absolutely worth the money.
01/08/2026: A true culinary artist, a rare breed these days. Simple, with a set menu, but exceptionally well-prepared. Top-notch, efficient, and stress-free service... they've got real skill. Thank you for your excellent cuisine.
