In the kitchen, Frédéric offers highly elaborate dishes, crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu is bursting with creativity, featuring combinations that may seem intriguing on paper, but prove to be as surprising as they are delicious on the plate. You can sense a genuine passion, a great deal of skill, and above all, a desire to share new flavors. In the dining room, Frédérique welcomes us with great warmth and contributes fully to making the experience enjoyable. All this in a magnificent setting, on a charming little green square that adds immense character to the place. This is a restaurant that truly deserves to be discovered, especially if you appreciate beautiful presentation and culinary experiences that are out of the ordinary. Congratulations to this wonderful, passionate couple for this fantastic restaurant. We will be back with great pleasure!

23/09/2026: We had dinner here and it was phenomenal!! Probably some of the best food we have ever eaten. My husband had the beef and I had the veal and we shared the escargot. The meat was so succulent, rich and full of flavor! The staff were very kind and professional. Highly recommend!!

Everything deserves special attention: a charming and intimate setting, refined and flavorful cuisine with bold, local flavors, a lovely wine list, and finally, what can we say about Maxime and his team who take such good care of you from the moment you arrive. A huge thank you to them for these wonderful moments. We'll be back very soon, of course, and we will certainly recommend this restaurant.

26/06/2026: We enjoyed a beautiful meal at L’Oustalet in the heart of Gigondas. Amazing food sourced from this very beautiful area. And perfect wine matching by the sommelier. We enjoyed a warm welcome from the friendly and attentive wait staff and highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you are in the area.

19/06/2026: This is a delightful restaurant and it was our 3rd visit over the last few years. The setting whether inside or out is beautiful and relaxing. The food itself is superb and worthy of the awards it has. We had the 5 course tasting and were very happy with everything it included. Many highlights but the fish and sweetbread courses were superb. The wine list is fantastic but on this occasion we went for the pairing. This was excellent value at €90 for 5 wines, including a couple of CdP’s. Each one of them was brilliantly paired and the sommelier happy to talk through his thinking around the choices. Service friendly and relaxed. All in all a top evening.

A huge thank you to the receptionist and the chef for your wonderful welcome. Your pizzas are simply incredible. I had heard about this restaurant and I can confirm that you live up to your reputation. I loved it, I'll be back.

31/07/2026: An impromptu dinner for two on a Friday night. We were greeted and seated with a smile. The menu perfectly blends Italian dishes and pizzas. And the food was very good, good enough that my picky daughter finished two plates. We appreciated the thoughtful touches from the staff throughout the meal and the friendly atmosphere!

11/09/2026: One evening in September during our stay in the Luberon, our hosts recommended several restaurants, and we chose L'ARDOISE in Mazan. We discovered a very pleasant and very clean place (we are also very particular about cleanliness). 👍 Of course, we received a very warm welcome, and our meal was excellent. Thank you to the chef! 👍 The menu had only 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts, just the way we like it. We will definitely be writing a review so our hosts can recommend this restaurant.
