17/02/2026: I returned, anticipating my table in the Parisian brasserie-style corner, but alas, this corner had been replaced by two small tables in front of a modern, contemporary-style bar, like a chic bar. Could someone explain why this little spot had to give way? The menu changes were obvious. The dishes I had wanted to try were no longer on the "gourmet cravings" menu (my kind of thing) but were only available à la carte, which would have made "my menu" more expensive. The quality of the food served was impeccable, still living up to the standards of owner Georges Blanc, with, in my opinion, slightly modern touches. In short: I wasn't disappointed, but I was left feeling a little nostalgic.

17/02/2026: We had a terrible time in a huge amount of noise. It was impossible to park; there were so many people. I wanted to spend some quiet time with my mother, but that was out of the question! We couldn't even hear each other speak.

05/02/2026: We had a wonderful time in this charming, tastefully decorated brasserie. On the walls, you'll see beautiful photos of Belley from the last century. A master chef presents sublime recipes, excellent cuisine made with quality local produce. If you're a fan of steak tartare, it's prepared with a knife, perfectly seasoned, and according to traditional methods. We all loved our dishes. Trying regional specialties is a delight. And let's not forget the desserts, a true feast for the eyes and the palate. Ending on such a high note is excellent 😊 A must-try restaurant in Belley. Don't hesitate, go and try it 😉

14/12/2025: Company Christmas meal. Very disappointed with the food; it was uninspired and very basic. Only the foie gras was good for the starter, and the meat in the main course was fine. The dessert was very standard. The price was too high for the quality of the service.

10/11/2025: Great restaurant run by a charity that helps people in need. The staff are volunteers, hence the lack of professionalism in the service, but who cares? The food is good and the people are friendly. Be aware, though, that there's only one set menu. You don't have a choice. Everything is very good, but if you're vegetarian, it might not be the right choice for you.
