Les meilleurs restaurants en Ain

29/09/2024: First time at the restaurant “La table de la Mainaz” and it will be the last. First of all, regarding the dishes, nothing exceptional in terms of flavors, little research, the presentation is not neat. Also the plates were cold, we had to send them back. Approximate service, bordering on amateurism. I do not recommend this restaurant, the quality is really not up to the standard displayed (€360 for 2 people).... In addition, the restaurant misleads its customers by highlighting a star on the website, which is no longer current and we now understand why.

22/09/2024: Hotel booked randomly on the road. Magnificent Hotel, an exceptional view of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. The junior suite is spacious and modern. A message from the receptionist welcomed us to the room. The balcony of the room allows you, on this Sunday morning when I am writing these lines, to enjoy the view while enjoying your coffee, in absolute calm and a hypnotic landscape. The staff is great! It is now our essential stopover point!

29/09/2024: Too expensive for almost canteen food

28/09/2024: The food is very good, whether it's the frogs, the chicken with cream and morels, the veal tartare... In addition, the service is very pleasant and available. So everything to have a good time.

23/07/2024: Nous y revenons pour les grenouilles qui sont excellentes. Le foie gras et le poulet à la crème sont top. Les entrées sont copieuses. L'accueil et le service est agréable, avec une serveuse active et à l'écoute. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

01/07/2024: Nous étions déjà venus presque par hasard dans cet établissement et sommes revenus car satisfaits. Juste une petite remarque, dans le menu à 47 €, la salade de la mer, excellente, mais avec 2 gambas et 2 petites noix de St Jacque, cela me paraît assez léger. L'assiette est bien garnie, mais avec beaucoup de salade pour faire du volume. Les grenouilles sont excellentes, cuites juste à point dans un joli beurre persillé et servies généreusement, le top. Pour le reste, rien à dire, le service est agréable, avec une gentille serveuse qui s'active et qui est à l'écoute. Bon établissement, à revoir peut être la générosité de la salade de la mer. Néanmoins pour les grenouilles, nous reviendrons.

10/11/2024: Very good restaurant with a beautiful room and super friendly service Concerning the downsides when you pay for menus at 42, 55 or 68 euros you expect cheese and dessert only that's where we should review that. The foie gras starter is super good but two slices only a third why not But I still recommend the place

07/12/2023: Pas pratique comme endroit pour travailler si besoin. Je m'y étais mise exprès pour cela, et ayant un appel important à passer j'ai demandé la possibilité d'arreter la musique un peu forte qq instants (le bar était quasiment vide à ce moment la). Le patron n'a pas été arrangeant et m'a demandé d'aller dehors si je ne voulais pas de musique...

21/12/2024: They welcomed us for a working meal with a table of 20 people. Owner, chef and very kind waitress. We really enjoyed ourselves, I recommend 100%. Very good address, to try in summer ☀️. Thanks again ☺️

28/08/2024: Total disorganization in this establishment. No more pizza at lunchtime, just one cash register in the middle of a rush… it’s not work!!! Mr. Boss, train your teams and hire...it’s urgent

21/08/2024: Run away. A star failing to be able to put zero. Dirty establishment, disastrous presentation with equipment with hygiene as questionable as that of the lab and the staff. Deplorable welcome with service that leaves something to be desired. Non-existent politeness and miscalculation. This establishment does not reflect the general image of the other bakeries in the group. React quickly!

03/09/2024: Very good plate, great pieces of good quality meat with excellent home fries. The bread would just have benefited from being fresher. Quiet terrace but along the road.

28/08/2024: Having owned a Burgers restaurant myself, I must say that we have never had such quality meat for hamburger steaks. Well done! The homemade brioche buns, the sauce and the quality of the ingredients show the attention of the team in the kitchen. It's worth the detour!

04/09/2024: Very nice restaurant, both inside and outside. Tasty, hearty dishes, affordable, especially at lunchtime where a dish of the day (€17) is even offered. Impeccable service, fast (not too fast either), smiles. In short: a parenthesis of happiness... We have already been here several times and will happily come back. Allow €22 starter/main course or main course/dessert at lunchtime, €26.90 with dessert and €33 full menu in the evening. Only small downside: dishes offered on the slate are a little expensive (but these are more expensive dishes originally)
