Whether it's for a worker's lunch or a themed meal (steak, calf's head, etc.), it's always perfect!
31/10/2025: I came for lunch today with my sisters and everything was perfect.
Everything is homemade (except the ice cream).
I highly recommend this restaurant.

21/02/2026: I can't give a negative review about the food since we didn't eat at the restaurant. It was a U2 night, a truly intimate New Wave concert. The band was amazing, the music, the vocals—it was like being at a concert practically on our doorstep. The atmosphere was truly exceptional, a fantastic evening. The bar staff worked incredibly hard to make sure we had the best possible time. Seriously, 5 stars! 🤘

The offer of tasting new wines by the glass is very nice.

01/03/2026: The dishes were simple and quite good, but nothing special. The dining room was very cramped, with tables crammed together, making the experience rather unpleasant. The wait was interminable: nearly three hours for a starter, main course, and dessert. Overall, a disappointing experience despite the decent food.

But the food needs a refresh; it's been the same for years, and I was most disappointed. I ordered a veal chop, which arrived small, slightly overcooked, and alone in the middle of the plate with fries that weren't great—small and frozen. Fresh fries would have been a big improvement. We were disappointed with the meal. 118 euros for three people without wine, just a bottle of sparkling wine. It would be good to revise the menus.

The welcome was warm and friendly.
An affordable restaurant with delicious, well-prepared dishes! Traditional cuisine.
This type of establishment deserves to be promoted and better known. Pay it a visit when you're out and about at the Brou Monastery.
