11/04/2026: Friendly welcome, very generous, simple and delicious meal. The Milanese escalope and chocolate cake were superb!

08/04/2026: It started badly from the moment we arrived. We got yelled at in the parking lot, and I still don't understand why, since there were plenty of spaces... Then the meal was beyond mediocre—bland and low-quality... There's not much to eat in the area, but don't even bother stopping at this place...

22/04/2026: The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The chicken couscous was just average. I find the prices quite high, contrary to other reviews. When I asked for a doggy bag, the waiter told me they didn't have any containers and that I would have to bring my own. It's true that it makes perfect sense to carry a Tupperware container around every day, just in case! 🥴🤓

24/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! I would have gladly given it 4.5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 for lack of a better option. The cuisine is superb, almost gourmet, with real attention paid to allergies. The set menus are a bit pricey, but the quality is definitely there.

13/03/2026: Julien, the friendly chef and owner, cooks up excellent home-style cooking using quality ingredients. Excellent value for money. At €17.50 for a starter, main course, and dessert, what more could you ask for? And the portions are generous, always subtly seasoned with a touch of Espelette pepper from the Basque Country, where the owner is from. We've been going there regularly since moving to the area in February 2026. A great place with fast service, in a relaxed atmosphere where you'll meet the locals. Go without hesitation.

30/04/2026: On a hiking trip, we spent one night as a family (2 adults and 3 children) at this charming, rustic inn. The rooms and common areas were comfortable and clean. Dinner and breakfast were hearty and delicious, served in a large, welcoming room with an open kitchen. A wide selection of board games, magazines, comics, and books were available for guests to enjoy. Upon our departure, we were able to create our own packed lunches from a variety of quality products provided. The young couple who run the place are very friendly.

30/04/2026: One star, because we can't give less. We came to test foundations with the testers, simply to find our shade, which is the whole point, after all. The saleswoman was very aggressive with us; she told us to stop and then to leave the store, even though we weren't doing anything wrong. It's incomprehensible and really unprofessional. A very bad experience; it doesn't make us want to come back.

22/03/2026: The decor is adequate, but lacks warmth. The same goes for the service. The dishes are very well prepared, but again, I found the flavor a little bland. What completely put me off, however, was the smell of the glasses, still saturated with their cleaning product. They were impeccably clean, but not rinsed thoroughly enough. And it was the same with their replacements. Once the water was in them, it absorbed the smell. Unfortunately, this ruined the overall experience.

26/04/2026: From Friday to Sunday, traveling in our campervan, we ate at the inn both evenings. Home-style cooking, meat cooked over a wood fire, Savoyard fondue... we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The welcome and service were very friendly. The location is beautiful.

The welcome and service were top-notch, with incredibly friendly staff. In the evening, we enjoyed delicious grilled food, and the extensive menu offered a wide variety of tempting choices. In the morning, breakfast is customizable, with sweet or savory options, and the staff warmly assists you. In short, it's an idyllic place to escape the everyday. We'll definitely be back.

In this iconic establishment, everything comes together to create truly special moments: a warm welcome, genuine attention to guests, and the understated elegance that characterizes the finest French restaurants. Dinner at the gourmet restaurant is a veritable journey. Each dish reveals remarkable skill, precise cooking techniques, and flavor combinations that demonstrate immense expertise. The cuisine is refined, subtle, and profoundly indulgent, true to the spirit of great French gastronomy. We also greatly enjoyed the restaurant La Mère Blanc, which skillfully celebrates generous, authentic, and nostalgic regional cuisine. It's family cooking in the truest sense of the word, where ingredients and traditions are beautifully respected. Under these circumstances, we find it difficult to understand the loss of its Michelin star, as the experience remains, for us, that of a truly great restaurant, worthy of the finest establishments. Thank you to the whole team for these moments of pleasure, sharing and conviviality.
