27/08/2024: J'ai voulu me faire mon propre avis a la suite de commentaire désastreux sur ce site et bien pour ma part, tout etait absolument parfait. C'était bon, bien fourni et nous avons été tres bien accueilli. Service impec. Je ne peux que recommander ;)

07/09/2024: Accueil médiocre, personnel dans l’ensemble très désagréable et hautain. Nous avons eu la bonne surprise d’apprendre directement sur place et installé que le vendredi et samedi soir c’est un menu à 60€ par personne. Ambiance sympa mais si vous ne fumez pas la chicha endroit a évité à cause de la fumée. Impossible de s’entendre parler. A partir d’une certaine heure fait plus boîte de nuit/ chicha bar que restaurant.

27/10/2024: To avoid completely. “The Opera” only looks like a bar/cafe. Benefiting from a location which might suggest that the place is of good standing, it is in fact a place which should learn from the small village PMUs. - No card or QRcode on the table (the waiter will not take one) - No smile (don't think you're welcome) - Completely wet tables even when the rain has stopped (customers look for a dry place to sit but the waiters don't ask the question) - and TOILETS… (sensational description at the bottom) Toilets: gloomy, no security, similar to a squat: tape and patched walls, toilets without doors, access to toilets without light in a huge, completely dark room Access impossible for elderly people, people with reduced mobility, disabled people Access not recommended (for women for example) because no visibility on a possible human presence with us in the room, then in a more than vulnerable position, especially for a bar which welcomes (too much) with open arms all the homeless alcoholics of Toulon (s 'they weren't it wouldn't be a problem). Understand the people I point out because they are shouting on the terrace, leering at the women next to us, wandering near people's belongings, spitting all over the place, and congratulating themselves on having relieved themselves in the next street... In short, the toilets are dangerous and if you inform the staff that it is unacceptable and that you do not feel safe there (my friend's comment), they will tell you (turning your back, blowing and throwing the keys on the bar) that it's your problem. I went to check and indeed, it is unacceptable.

11/09/2024: An extremely unpleasant waiter. The benches are indicated reserved even though no one comes...what a shame in such a beautiful place. Avoid this address!

20/03/2026: The apartment is located in a building right at the entrance to the city, in a quiet area, with the main street just around the corner. The complex itself is relatively tired, but not run-down. They try to keep it clean; you can tell from the architecture and the carpet on the floor that it was designed a long time ago. The elevator works well, and there's a separate ski room and boot storage room, also on the ground floor. It's been mentioned before that the Wi-Fi is terrible. The best spots for reception are the toilet, the bathroom countertop, and the left corner of the bedroom near the headboard. However, watching movies or working reliably isn't possible, and you don't want to be in such beautiful mountains! The apartment is newly renovated and stylish! Everything looks just like the photo, except for the table, which has already gotten dirty. The bedroom is fantastic, the bed is comfortable, the mattress and mattress pads are a special thanks to the owners, and the closet looks small but turns out to be quite roomy. There were four of us (adults and two teenagers) staying here. When we arrived, we were disappointed to find out how we'd fit. But then we ended up living there for a whole week, thanks to the design, which isn't just beautiful but also so functionally thought out. There wasn't enough room for our suitcases, so we simply put them out on the balcony. We were very pleased with the coat rack and bench; they unexpectedly fit all of our ski clothes. The sofa is large, soft, and modern; we were able to curl up on it after a day of skiing. The apartment sleeps six, but let's be honest: sleeping on a fold-out bed in the hallway (like on a train) is uncomfortable; it's noisy from the elevator, and there's no air circulation, so you can't use the bathroom. We slept in the bedroom and on the sofa, which folds out perfectly and is comfortable. Plenty of linens were provided, and the towels were excellent. To sum it up, as the title says – a great apartment for four. The kitchen has everything and more. Everything is new: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso machine. There's a good set of dishes, plenty of glasses, pots, and pans. There are two Sherpa stores in town (one right next door) with a very decent selection: they have a selection of ready-to-heat meals, a good ham section, a wide selection of wines, and everything else. Nearby, a line forms outside in the morning to get a delicious bakery and pastry shop (upstairs to the left of Sherpa) where you can get a coffee. There's also a large cheese shop nearby. There's a pharmacy in town, which is important. Overall, Tignes Val Claret turned out to be a great town for winter skiing, both in terms of ski area and access to the slopes, and for evening strolls. Firstly, it's not congested; it's a dead-end street, so the upper main street isn't particularly busy, with a bus and a couple of cars driving down it. Secondly, you can walk there. Leaving your apartment, you can take a 40-50-minute loop. This is so nice, because sometimes towns are so small that there's just a patch of shops and then chalet after chalet after chalet, and there's no room to walk. Of course, walking along the packed ice path to Le Lac is a special attraction, but we never made it there, even though there are a lot of people walking there. There are also plenty of ski sets, intersports, and similar activities. There are plenty of restaurants in town. I'd recommend 2 Flocons and Alberto during the day in the winter sun. La Grattalu is delicious and good in the evening (book in advance). I didn't like La Pignatta. There are Michelin-starred restaurants, but we didn't bring evening dresses (this time J). They also have super delicious takeaway pizza, right by the elevator entrance between the upper and lower levels of the town (the elevator furthest from the entrance, look for Le Kiosk square, and the pizza itself is right next to the elevator). Order it in the evening and you'll receive it in about an hour (I think you can call them). There's also a great après-ski scene in town itself, near the Les Lanches lift and before the final descent to the town, just above the Tufs landing. Communication with the management during our stay, including check-in and check-out, was all through WA, very fast, convenient, and accommodating! We're delighted with our choice of this apartment; the ski area is wonderful, and Val Claret itself is charming! Thank you.

06/05/2024: Blah, very blah! Order at the terminal (dirty) but cashed without problem, waiting for almost 20 minutes without any attention from the 2 people on duty only to be told that the terminal did not send the order (I'm daydreaming!) Zero excuses, why since it’s paid! Both the person in the kitchen and the person at the counter touch the food and the cleaning cloth (which remains on the counter) with their bare hands. Installed outside among cigarette butts on a table....dirty. Forced to clean up ourselves! In short, the disaster.... dirty, no service and the burgers are really tasteless... the vitell was very good! Extremely disappointed with the whole thing. Farewell

04/05/2024: We usually stop at this restaurant on the road to vacation and we were satisfied with the value for money and the speed. This time we waited in line for at least 20 minutes because of a terminal at the entrance: what is it for? To cause this queue because it is complicated to place the order on a robot which does not provide directions to take a vegetarian menu The salad was not good and the falafels tasted like bleach We will not come back again because the experience was very disappointing. A word of advice: remove these robots because we need exchanges and relationships when we stop for lunch in Honfleur!

03/06/2024: Nous avons mangé un dimanche à midi , Après avoir été servi pour les boissons, lors de notre commande, on nous annonce qu'il n'y a plus de viande de bœuf en sachant Que c'est un restaurant Principalement avec des hamburgers.. Nous avons attendu plus d'une heure et demie notre commande, mon mari s'est levé pour aller chercher ce qui manquait sur la table car le service ne se faisait pas . Et la moitié des plats qu'on avait commandé n'était pas les bons .

30/05/2024: Je viens assez régulièrement avec ma mere, parfois en solo, c'est un endroit agréable, le patron est adorable, l'ambiance est super je recommande !
