30/04/2026: A wonderful discovery, both in terms of the hotel and the restaurant.
I recommend booking a room with a sea view, which is very close to the hotel.
While parking isn't the most convenient, the major advantage is that it's free all around the hotel and year-round in Luc-sur-Mer.

And let's not forget the restaurant where I had a wonderful meal!

Small, but very clean room with a double bed.
Extensive breakfast buffet.

07/08/2026: On the advice of a friend, with whom I'd shared my disappointment at not finding satisfactory whole bean coffee after receiving a bean-to-cup espresso machine as a gift, I went to the Coffea shop in downtown Caen. The welcome: ten out of ten, the attentiveness: fifteen out of ten, and the advice: 20 out of 10. It became my go-to place for coffee, and I finally found my perfect cup. And every time I visit, the experience is the same: perfect.

It was a very good brunch with plenty of choice, just a shame about the hot and cold drinks. It would have been nice to offer apple juice or something else for those who don't like orange juice. For hot drinks, only coffee and tea were available.

23/08/2026: Best bread, La Tradition, in Isigny-sur-Mer. Best quality like those found in Lyon.
17/08/2026: A very warm welcome. The pain au chocolat was generously filled. The plain crêpe was excellent, even cold, and the cookie was also delicious.
The traditional baguette was very good.
Don't hesitate to go. A big thank you to the lady who greeted us this morning. Very pleasant and professional.

20/09/2026: I was there in 2025. Everything was good and it felt like family! The pizzas were good and the burgers were special. "Accompanied by fries and green salad, our burgers were homemade and régalent to the whole family."

26/08/2026: I ordered two ice creams: both clearly had a broken cold chain (melted and then refrozen), and one of them was supposed to be a Magnum Classic. Instead, for the same price (€3.50), I received a tiny cookie ice cream that I finished in three bites…
EDIT: I see in the reply that I paid €4 for a mini donut-shaped ice cream that took three bites, instead of a Magnum Classic—even worse than I thought.
23/08/2026: Nice little beach restaurant, efficient and quick service.
We had mussels and fries for €12.50. It's a shame the fries were frozen!
Drinks were reasonably priced.
