30/06/2026: So, for years we've been complaining about the coldness of the fries, it's always a bit of a letdown, but in Lisieux, what a pleasant surprise! It had been a long time since I'd eaten such crispy, hot, and melt-in-your-mouth fries, and a hot sandwich at McDonald's! The staff were friendly and polite, and well, I'm delighted. I'd rather drive further and go back for sure!!! I highly recommend it!

30/06/2026: I got free fries and they were very nice. The kebab was so good, I ate the crumbs! 😋

12/05/2026: No joke, better than many other German kebabs. The guy is very nice and accommodating. We paid €54.50 for 6 people.

02/04/2026: We tried the set lunch menu: a decent mashed potato dish with kidneys that were served lukewarm and slightly overcooked. The much-touted Salembo was also just average: a very good vanilla cream, but the choux pastry wasn't fresh as it was a bit stiff. So, a slight culinary disappointment. I found the place and the atmosphere pleasant. As for the price, I was a guest, but the dish of the day was under €20.

25/04/2026: I've finally found where to get my pizzas! The crust is crispy, the toppings are delicious, a real treat!!! I highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: A bit disappointed for a 4-star hotel. The room needs updating, the bathroom with shower wasn't great, and there were cobwebs on the window frames, which wasn't ideal. However, the pool, gym, hammam, and sauna were excellent. Value for money not great. Breakfast was adequate.

28/05/2026: The Mercure brand is truly tarnished at this establishment. It was impossible to get a pain au chocolat, a croissant, or a spoonful of scrambled eggs sent to the room because "if everyone does it, you'll understand." Meanwhile, the €20 per person breakfast, which was nothing special, was paid for. And to top it off, the drill was running at 10:00 AM... Avoid at all costs; I absolutely do not recommend it.

27/05/2026: Super fresh seafood practically straight from the boat. However, the prices weren't as older reviews suggested. The two of us ordered a shellfish platter (without lobster or oysters) and, including a glass of wine each, ended up paying €140.

27/03/2026: A pleasant place accessible to everyone, a small local tobacconist/newsagent, it's perfect.

13/06/2026: First time at the marina, housekeeping not great. The glasses were washed with bleach. The meals weren't great either, probably reheated in the microwave.

12/06/2026: Beautiful sea view. Friendly welcome. The dishes look tempting, but the experience is a bit disappointing when you taste them. The crab tartare is bland, the sea bass vegetables are swimming in oil and all you can taste is shallot, and the crème brûlée is undercooked. All this for €130 for two.

30/05/2026: A superb discovery, this restaurant by the water! The staff is very friendly and attentive to customers. Despite being busy, there was little wait, a sign that the kitchen is running smoothly. I ordered the Nordic platter and wasn't disappointed; it was beautifully presented and the French toast with caramelized apples was delicious.

28/05/2026: This superb restaurant, located along the Orne River, looks fantastic at first glance. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. 😒 The dishes are beautifully presented, but the taste and quality are frankly lacking. I ordered the mussels "au fil de l'eau" (stream-cooked). They came with three langoustines, three prawns, scallops, and smoked salmon... the scallops were completely raw!! The mussels were poorly cleaned, and let's not even mention the fries, which were disgusting. And it's not just Belgians who are saying this!!

11/04/2026: Looking for a family-run restaurant opposite Sainte Catherine Church with exceptionally high-quality fish (salmon, fish kebabs, etc.) and seafood platters, homemade mayonnaise, crème brûlée, homemade tarts, and more, all at very reasonable prices? Then go for it without hesitation! Sitting on the terrace overlooking Place Sainte Catherine is a real bonus, as it's only accessible to pedestrians.

04/07/2026: Family of 2 adults and 2 children. Perfect welcome, excellent waiter and waitress. The food was cooked to perfection for both adults and children. A wide selection on the menu 😁 One small drawback: a 45-minute wait to be served, but this is understandable given that everything is fresh. We had a wonderful time and thank all the staff. 14/05/2026: A very pleasant visit today for a beer on the terrace. The establishment offers a wide selection of beers and the view is magnificent. A very good time.
