13/06/2026: No welcome whatsoever. We asked for a table outside, and the man with glasses immediately offered us a table inside, even though there were empty tables. They seem to be selecting their customers based on appearance. We'll keep walking!

23/08/2026: Fantastic experience at this little beachfront restaurant. Hugely underrated, the food is absolutely delicious. The best duck breast I've ever had. A warm and friendly welcome; the place is perfect for a great time with friends.

29/07/2026: We received a wonderful welcome the night before for a refreshing drink, and we returned the next day to try the food. Everything was perfect and the staff were lovely. The homemade chocolate crepe was delicious. I recommend these little places; book in advance to get a table.

19/08/2026: Fantastic establishment! We received a very warm welcome, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. We chose the mussels and fries, and they were delicious. The best part is that everything is homemade, which is becoming rare these days. While on holiday in Caen, we wouldn't hesitate for a second to return if we're ever in Caen again.

18/08/2026: A lovely establishment where we enjoyed delicious mussels with equally good fries, followed by a generously filled platter for dessert. The staff were very welcoming and friendly; we had a pleasant evening. Thank you.

26/05/2026: Good stopover with a very friendly and attentive receptionist. Pointed out restaurants that were open (it was Whit Monday). Small, but very clean room with a double bed. Extensive breakfast buffet.

24/05/2026: Hotel with old bedding, restaurant no better than a Flunch, once is enough.

15/08/2026: The pizza is inedible. They can even screw up a simple salad. Avoid this place.

15/04/2026: I drove past this place two years ago, and made a mental note to visit. Drove past it last weekend and fulfilled my wish. After many years in France, and many fish and chips meals, this is the BEST I've ever had here. Simple decor but with food like this, you don't need extravagant soundings. Estelle and Ben were really friendly and a joy to meet. My kids and I had fish and chips obviously and were not disappointed. The only place I have been to, offering both brown sauce AND malt vinegar as condiments! A true rarity. My partner (Normandy origins) was very happy with a burger topped with camembert. Finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, again a joy and rarity to have. If your British and want a true taste of home, stop by here. 10/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant in October and I couldn't wait to come back. We returned tonight and enjoyed their delicious couscous for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Thank you for the warm welcome, we will be back!! 🫶🏽

25/06/2026: A lovely place. We came from Franche-Comté for a weekend, and the meals we had at this restaurant were impeccable. We were treated like VIPs, even on Sunday, their closing day! With the place practically to ourselves, the Peña Baiona music still echoes through the walls. The various menus were all excellent quality, and the owner and staff were fantastic ❤️
