10/08/2026: Thank you to the whole team. I was an exhibitor at the medieval fair for three days, right next to the café, and all the staff were friendly, smiling, and helpful. The establishment was very clean, even during peak hours.

After three and a half hours stuck in traffic between Deauville and Honfleur, frustrated by the lack of parking, we decided to turn around and stop at the Auberge de la Tour. It was the best decision of our chaotic day! Pure bliss: a warm welcome, very helpful and friendly staff, and a divine meal! The chef even came to greet us at the end of our meal. Thank you for welcoming us at such a late hour and for delighting our taste buds! We will definitely be back.

02/09/2026: Absolutely incredible! We've been eating at this restaurant for our wedding anniversary for the past four years and we're never disappointed. The setting is wonderful, the waiters (often the same ones every year, a sure sign of quality for us) are very kind and helpful. And what can we say about the €63 menus? Simply delicious, refined, and of very high quality! The chef changed a few months ago, and we want to give him a big thumbs up! We'll be back, as we are every year 🥰

28/09/2026: Unfortunately, a huge disappointment – ​​not comparable to our stay last year. We stayed at L’Ex-Voto last year and had a very positive experience. That's precisely why we chose this accommodation again this year. Unfortunately, this year's experience was completely different. Despite the stated check-in time, no one was there when we arrived. After checking in and paying, we received the key and were then able to inspect the room ourselves. The condition of the room was unacceptable: The bed was badly creased and didn't look like it had been freshly made. There was still water in the kettle, and a used towel and bed linens were lying in a corner. The wardrobe was crammed full of crumpled linens and other textiles, rendering it unusable. Parts of the curtains were loose, and the flower boxes in front of the windows contained only withered plant remains. The condition of the bathroom was particularly problematic. There was clearly visible black mold on the shower, and the shower hose was also heavily infested with mold. We documented the condition of the property with photographs. Based on this, we decided not to stay there and to find another hotel in Honfleur at short notice. It's a shame, because our stay last year was completely different and precisely the reason we returned. An older, typically French house is absolutely no problem for us – old and charming is quite different from neglected and questionable in terms of hygiene. Therefore, after our experience this year, we unfortunately cannot recommend this accommodation.

20/09/2026: A pleasant time spent at Buffalo Grill. Impeccable service and servers (thank you Elisa and Dylan). Update: It had been a few months since I'd been to the Buffalo Grill in Vire. The welcome and seating were quick, no complaints there. As we were heading to our table, we ran into the manager in front of the bar. Not even a hello, just a haughty attitude and an outfit worthy of the George V in Paris. Our waitress (Cathy) came to take our order; she was fantastic, smiling, friendly, and very professional (she was the only one). The dishes arrived, served by a woman dressed in black (the manager? A serious lack of smiles and friendliness). The meat wasn't cooked properly, and there was no rice dish... the desserts were fine. After checking social media, I learned about the rumors of closure; now I understand. In short, apart from Cathy, who was great, the rest didn't leave a good impression.

01/09/2026: Beautiful Bar/Tabac, super nice owner speaks fluent English, no problem charging e-bike battery and nice and cold St Omer - you can also eat some local products here and take them away, delicious and cheap !! Super location !!
