27/01/2026: Absolutely fantastic! Period! For years, despite the distance, I've been going back and I'll continue to do so.

23/12/2025: Adequate, nothing more. Bland and not particularly original. Average value for money.

20/08/2026: Our craving for moules frites was perfectly satisfied at this establishment, which boasted an efficient and friendly welcome. The option of Pont l'Évêque sauce to accompany a generous portion of mussels is simply delicious. For drinks, an authentic, dry farm cider was excellent, as were the artisanal ice creams offered for dessert. In short, a delightful break, just the way we like them: hearty, welcoming... and very reasonably priced, which is always a plus!

20/08/2026: Nice place, decent food, and friendly staff. Just one small complaint: the children's menu is a bit pricey for a ham and chips dish, a fruit drink, and a cordial.

06/08/2026: Friendly staff, sandwiches ready early in the morning. Real desserts with real pastry cream, and the bread is good. In short, I highly recommend it. See you soon!

28/06/2026: We attended a wedding reception at this restaurant on June 27th. The experience was excellent in terms of service, cuisine, and overall atmosphere.

28/06/2026: We celebrated our loved ones' wedding at L'Olivade. It's the perfect place for a family gathering! The welcome was very warm, and the staff were incredibly kind and pleasant. The meal was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. I highly recommend it!

20/08/2026: The service was unfortunately inattentive because my daughter dropped a fork and the waitress was right next to it and didn't bring a new one. The nuggets were actually awful. The children's portions weren't good either, and the fries were completely undercooked. Everything was cooked without any care, and this in the land of the Grand Nation! (Cousin Bistro Style Pistole 🤗) P.S. Only one toilet! 😆

19/08/2026: Missing items. Skate wing sent back to the kitchen. Sauce or fish not fresh? Beef overcooked for medium-rare, so it was shoe leather. Friendly but rushed waiter

26/07/2026: We just discovered this little takeaway restaurant; the calezones are delicious and generous, we highly recommend them! 👌 The staff is super friendly, always smiling even during the rush!

01/08/2026: Appalling service. Young children are not welcome. If the next table hadn't intervened, we would have been refused entry because of a small stroller... No high chair was offered for our child. The crepes were of average quality and sparsely filled. The waiter, who boasts of only speaking French, was unfamiliar with the term "doggy bag"... What about the law of July 1, 2021, which requires restaurants to provide reusable or recyclable containers? Aluminum foil is not a recyclable or reusable container. A word to the wise! Is it really necessary to boast about not speaking English in a restaurant in the middle of a tourist area? 🤔 The children's menu included a sugar crepe for dessert, and we had to insist to get it! One star for the waiter's touch of humor when he told us as we left, "Don't hesitate to come back."

11/08/2026: Superb place, the food is excellent. It has its own history, original decor, equestrian shows, and stables; there's a special atmosphere. I love it.

17/07/2026: A lovely crêperie and pizzeria near the banks of the Orne River. We came with our grandchildren before going to the cinema. We ate buckwheat galettes and pizzas, all of which were really delicious and generously portioned. The service provided by the manager was very friendly, and the terrace, shaded by parasols, guaranteed us a pleasant lunch. We left very happy! 😌

25/07/2026: After days of eating French food, we were very eager to try the cuisine at this Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant. Upon arrival, the smell of cooking and frying permeated the room and our clothes; we needed to air it out! After ordering, we moved on to the appetizers, and it was a complete disappointment. The Banh Cuon had an overly thick and tough wrapper, clearly from being microwaved. And what about the spring rolls? They used a single shrimp left over from a previous batch, cut in half, and the nuoc mam sauce was tasteless. Then came the main courses, including the Saigon-style soup (Hu Tieu), where the waitress dipped her fingers into the bowl! To finish, a small insect swimming in the broth. Be careful with the cooking of your items, such as the spring rolls (burnt) or the rice noodles in the soup (mushy). Despite a reasonable bill, the food was far from average. Vietnamese cuisine suitable for the provinces, but not for professionals. Words from a Chef on a weekend!

24/08/2026: Unfriendly staff, food not warm, only the starter was okay, they don't know the difference between a scoop of ice cream and a crème brûlée, had to ask ourselves if we could get a napkin.

23/08/2026: The lobster menu at €86 per person is outrageous. You leave the table far from satisfied; the portions are ridiculously small. We pointed this out when paying the bill and didn't even offer a gesture of goodwill. We'd been eating there regularly for four years; this was the last time.

30/07/2026: Meh, not great. The price is a bit steep considering the portion sizes. The meat quality was average.

30/07/2026: Very high prices for what you get on your plate. €14.50 for a completely unremarkable buckwheat crepe, especially on the roadside, is outrageous. The service was efficient and quick.

28/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. The salmon burger was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly and there was no greasy sauce dripping down the sides! Thank you for the service as well.

27/07/2026: Fantastic! Delicious food, great wine from the pitcher, and a spot on the terrace without a reservation. It was Monday evening and only a few restaurants were open, but Les Halles far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, any day of the week!
