04/04/2026: I'd been wanting to visit this establishment for a long time. I finally made up my mind, and I absolutely don't regret it. The welcome was incredibly warm. The setting is magnificent and intimate, and I felt instantly at ease. The women are beautiful, friendly, and interesting. The private rooms are lovely, very comfortable, and intimate. Special mention goes to Sasha, a stunning young woman who made my evening unforgettable. The only downside is that once you've walked through that door, you only have one desire: to go back!

13/05/2026: We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). Friendly staff, very nice room, and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner here, so I can't comment on that. The bike garage is a bit small if there are many cyclists staying overnight. However, the bikes can certainly be stored outside. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the famous Bénouville bridge and less than 10 km from Ouistreham.

06/08/2026: Pleasant terrace overlooking the Orne River. Good value for money. Very friendly waiter. Note that this is a very popular spot; reservations are recommended during peak tourist season.

08/08/2026: So-so. The presentation deserves a special mention… My 6-year-old daughter probably would have done a better job. A big blob of Nutella placed in the middle of the crepe, without even spreading it… That's a bit shabby for a restaurant. We eat with our eyes too!

11/05/2026: We stayed here for 3 days in early May and slept in room 38. This is a spacious room with a balcony, fridge, and twin beds. From the balcony, you have a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast is fine by French standards. Eggs, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, and cheese, but also sweet treats. Tea, coffee, and juices are available as desired. We were welcomed at the hotel by Shana. A great host who escorted us to the room and showed us other rooms for comparison. Shana asked us about our plans for the coming days and was eager to help make this expedition complete for us. He had printed out the sights for us several times and advised us on where to go. Down to the smallest details regarding parking tips, as well as price and distances. Additionally, Shana speaks perfect English, which was also very nice for us. We did not eat at the hotel in the evenings, mainly because there is plenty of choice in the surrounding towns. However, the hotel restaurant has a beautiful location with a view of the sea and an open terrace with an adjacent grassy meadow.

06/05/2026: The hotel has a beautiful view, but the room doesn't really have anything: no kettle, no tea, not even cotton swabs. They charge extra for an iron. I wouldn't recommend it. The view gets one star.

19/08/2026: You mustn't do anything foolish and you have to behave yourself, otherwise the grown-ups won't be happy. If the kind tavern owners do something foolish, the grown-ups will tell other grown-ups. 👮 She stares at the scenery in a depressed mood, pouting and rolling her eyes like a child, looking exasperated. I'd advise people to go to Rue Saint Pierre and Écuyère instead. That area is a mess, that's where they all hang out. The surrounding shops are the same. I've talked to people about it, and they all say they never go to that area. Besides, who even goes into town these days? There are only bars and weirdos who ask you for money.

01/07/2026: Stopped for lunch, great and affordable food. Really nice people working there making sure you have a good time even if the language barrier is a fact.

03/06/2026: Excellent location if you want to visit the D-Day landing beaches. The American Cemetery, Sainte-Mer-l'Église, Colleville-sur-Mer, and Bayeux town center are all within walking distance. The room needs renovation. Breakfast is available upon reservation for approximately €15. Room service is minimal.

01/06/2026: Basic hotel that is ideal for visit not requiring hotel amenities - excellent price - 10 minute walk to train station, 15 minutes to downtown Bayeux - exterior entrance next to farm and horse breeder - good (not great) breakfast - room was clean, quiet, good bathroom / shower, no issues at all

25/07/2026: I used to frequent this restaurant often because of its location, the friendly service, and the menu. However, my last visit was disappointing. None of the requests I made when ordering were honored. The steaks in the hamburgers were overcooked, and the kidneys I wanted were also pink. The service was disorganized; the charcuterie and cheese board was served well after our aperitifs. Disappointing. Is this just the tourist effect?

20/07/2026: Very disappointing, overpriced for such poor quality. The children's menu (€13) consisted of a few fries and an inedible hamburger, judging by how overcooked it was, I think... tasteless patties with an aftertaste... in short, we didn't finish our plates. The setting is indeed very pretty with a superb view, but unfortunately, that's not what you find on the plate.
