15/04/2026: I had it delivered. The burger was good, but more importantly, the ingredients were high quality. That's rare enough to be worth mentioning.

29/03/2026: The burgers are very good, the atmosphere is nice, but the service leaves much to be desired. The cashier speaks rudely, curtly, even rudely. We were served drinks without glasses and ice cream without spoons.

10/04/2026: Arrived at 6:55 PM Order taken at 7:05 PM And no more pizzas!! This restaurant is a pizzeria. We hadn't been here for several years, what a disappointment.

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed with the mussels and fries... tiny, shriveled, tasteless... despite our dissatisfaction, the owner offered no compensation... we will not be returning.

13/05/2026: My partner and I just had lunch at Café de France. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and the waiter was very friendly. We were in a hurry to leave before the gates of our accommodation closed. So we didn't have time to say goodbye to the waiter. We're doing so now through this review. We highly recommend this welcoming restaurant.

08/03/2026: The couscous was very good and generously served. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. I recommend it!

21/02/2026: We arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 PM and the person who "greeted" us informed us that the restaurant was closed and that we should come back in 30 minutes. Okay, no problem. We stayed and felt like we were bothering her. So we went for a walk and returned at 7:00 PM. We went back in and the same person showed us to our seats. We sat down and then asked if there would be a long wait. She told us yes, about 15-20 minutes, since the employees were eating because they had been fasting. It's unacceptable to have this kind of behavior and attitude towards customers.

28/04/2026: Our experience at La Marsala was lovely! It is located very centrally in Bayeux, not far from the cathedral. We ordered the terrine and the onion soup as our starters and the lasagne and the crab ravioli as our mains, all of which were incredible. Whenever we found ourselves wanting or needing anything, the staff were so attentive, bringing whatever we asked for. A really lovely environment with an incredibly welcoming team, saying hello when we came in and goodbye when we left. Will definitely be coming back if we come to Bayeux again!

20/04/2026: A very cozy restaurant with friendly service; they also speak good English. We had a table for 4, and our 2 dogs were allowed inside as well. We had a pizza, hamburger, spaghetti bolognese, and chicken Parmentier as main courses, followed by tarte tartin, lemon cheesecake, tiramisu, and a lava cake for dessert. Everything tasted delicious! Including drinks, we spent 120 euros in total. A great price for the good food. This restaurant is highly recommended.

30/04/2026: Living in Orbec, but with the crêperie closed, I looked for something else nearby. What a pleasant surprise this crêperie was! Not knowing it was best to book, we just showed up, and luckily we got a table! The galettes were excellent, thin, and perfectly filled. My daughter had a salmon burger, absolutely delicious! The homemade fries were very good. The crêpes and ice cream sundaes for dessert were also excellent. All this at an affordable price, served by a friendly waitress and prepared by an equally friendly chef! A great find!

07/05/2026: We had a lovely time at this Trouville institution; the Normandy sauce was, as always, excellent, and the ingredients were top-notch. The downsides were the very high prices compared to what you get (for example, €64 for the sole or €14-16 for desserts) and the rain that poured down on us while we were eating in the conservatory. The waiter kindly tried to plug the leaks, but without success.

04/05/2026: I've been going to Trouville for over 30 years. And I'd never been to the restaurant "Les Vapeurs" until now (May 2026). The verdict, which I expected: the prices are really high for what you get on your plate. - The decor is great, retro, stylish, and period-appropriate. - The staff is very attentive, very welcoming to children too, and they even offered us a complimentary digestif! Excellent! 👍 - The food is good! It's nothing exceptional, but for a brasserie, it's good. - It's clean; we were inside in a quiet spot, and it wasn't very crowded. ❌ However, the prices are frankly expensive for what you get (a few examples: €7 for a portion of homemade fries, €14 for a chocolate fondant, €14 for a three-scoop sundae). My wife ordered mussels in cream sauce for €21, served without fries, so you have to add €7. That makes €28 for the mussels in cream sauce. I usually pay around €13… €35 for two small grilled red mullet… or you have to add another side dish. I included a photo of the desserts to show the prices. - The location is perfect, facing the port, near Rue des Bains, and close to the beach. In short, this restaurant is central and eye-catching, and it's been around for years. It's an institution, but I think it's the kind of place you only go to once. Don't go there expecting a good meal or good value for money. If you go with your family, your wallet will feel it. If the prices were more affordable, I might consider going back. I'm giving it 3 stars, that's the maximum!

25/06/2025: Brasserie in the heart of Caen. A terrace lined with shrubs that provide privacy from the street: ideal for dining al fresco or simply enjoying a drink. The interior dining room is (very) beautiful, in my opinion. The food is as good as the setting is pleasant. Friendly and cheerful staff.

12/12/2025: A beautiful holiday village, especially for families with children, with a huge indoor play area and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, even in winter. A paradise for children. Ideal for those who love the countryside and peace and quiet.

04/12/2025: Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

01/12/2025: Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)

02/04/2026: A great overnight stay with incredible value for money. The rooms are clean, though could use some soundproofing. The meals are excellent, very generous and varied. There's something for everyone. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.
