19/11/2025: We had a wonderful time at this charming little restaurant. Its decor, the maître d'hôtel, and his sense of humor were all quite unique. The meal was delicious and the staff very pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

16/11/2025: The waiter was unprofessional and unpleasant, the service needs improvement, he practically threw spoons at us for dessert, and got angry with a guest when she asked about the sauce. The service was slow between courses. We were a group with a set menu offering multiple choices, however, there wasn't enough guinea fowl for everyone. Regarding the portion sizes, some received small portions and cold meals. The value for money was disappointing. On the other hand, the decor is nice.

16/08/2024: We went to eat ice cream (family of 5) in Bayeux and were really delighted with this place. The kindness of the waiters/waitresses, pleasant terrace and the places are clean (wc). The homemade ice creams on site were enjoyed by all 5 of us.

04/12/2024: Regular at this very good restaurant. Change of ownership since this summer and it has become overpriced for shoddy service. Even when it was pointed out at the cash register that the drinks served were at inappropriate prices, there was no reaction from the owner. Pizza and pasta no longer have anything to do with the establishment of the former manager who unfortunately left for Italy.

04/12/2024: Very disappointed with this restaurant which was very warm and offered very good dishes, well served and with great value for money. It’s a shame that the quality is declining with prices increasing, not to mention the limoncello at €9.50 per glass.

16/11/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Ouistreham, and especially the Hôtel Restaurant Le Phare. The food was generous, the breakfast delicious, and the staff attentive to guests' needs and very welcoming – a real pleasure. The room was perfect, with comfortable bedding. The location is excellent, a lively area, lovely for walking, and directly accessible from a beautiful cycle path for exploring this beautiful region. Thank you to all the staff!

22/09/2024: Very good time spent with family and friends. Even if it seems basic, the products were simple (mussels and fries, goat's cheese salad, roasted camembert, etc.), but very good. We will come back because the team is very pleasant.

21/09/2024: We had lunch there this afternoon, mussels with Calvados and mussels with Camembert. It was excellent. The servers are very pleasant and helpful. We come here regularly and will come back as soon as possible. Don't change anything, it's great. See you soon

06/12/2025: Passing through Deauville, we were looking for a restaurant that wouldn't break the bank, which isn't easy in this town. We ordered pizzas, which were good but not excellent (probably a matter of personal taste). The service was quick, efficient, and very professional. The only downside was that the tables were (very) close together; you clearly couldn't have a conversation without your neighbors joining in. Perhaps some people like this aspect, which could be seen as "convivial," but it wasn't for us.

06/12/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance. I had pizza (sicilienne). It was delicious. It would have been even better if the olives weren't so salty. I loved the mousse au chocolat. I'll be back to try different flavors.

24/08/2024: Nous nous sommes rendus vers 18h en couple pour y boire un verre en terrasse. La terrasse était certes pleine, mais certaines tables étaient pliées. Nous avons demandé s'il était possible de nous installer un table, ce qui a été refusé car le bar fermait pour congés 1h30 après notre arrivée ! En bref, il ne faut pas être touriste fin août car ils ont fait le chiffre de la saison et on est plus les bienvenus ! Inadmissible !!
