06/12/2025: The hotel is perfectly fine on the seafront. However, the €19 breakfast is a big NO!!! We went to have one at the port for half the price. The restaurant is far too expensive and of mediocre quality. To elaborate on your response, we specifically mentioned that the quality wasn't up to par, and as for the refined atmosphere, we were seated at a table of about twelve people, including children (no problem), one of whom was running around shouting, without your staff intervening to restore calm to the room for the sake of the other 40 guests. A shame, in our opinion, because the service itself was very good.

04/12/2025: Eight years ago, I said the location was ideal and the food was decent. I recently went back for a business dinner featuring scallops: a disaster. At a fishing port, after watching the boats come in, I ordered seared scallops and risotto. The result: ridiculously small scallops, clearly frozen, not seared at all but literally boiled. And this in the middle of the season, when nearly 3,000 tons are landed annually in Port-en-Bessin. It's incomprehensible. My advice: avoid it.

22/09/2024: Very good time spent with family and friends. Even if it seems basic, the products were simple (mussels and fries, goat's cheese salad, roasted camembert, etc.), but very good. We will come back because the team is very pleasant.

21/09/2024: We had lunch there this afternoon, mussels with Calvados and mussels with Camembert. It was excellent. The servers are very pleasant and helpful. We come here regularly and will come back as soon as possible. Don't change anything, it's great. See you soon

01/11/2025: I came to get some bread this morning, and on the advice of the charming waitress I was tempted by 4 quiches which we enjoyed with friends as an aperitif, great, I will come back to try the coffee corner sometime!

13/09/2025: An excellent Breton cake (plain), a really friendly staff (which stood out compared to other establishments on the island). I really enjoyed it, whether it was for my morning coffee or my post-hike beer.

20/01/2026: Very good vegetarian pizzas! 🍕 However, the service could be warmer. The price of the "cesanettes" (half a pizza served with a salad) could also be adjusted compared to the price of a full pizza.

19/12/2025: I went for lunch yesterday with a friend. The pizza was good. The half-pizza deal is perfect 👌. However, the welcome and service from the gentleman who seated and served us was deplorable! He made grumpy gestures and had an almost contemptuous attitude that spoke volumes about his desire to work that day 😠. The young woman behind the bar is lovely, though 😍! A little effort, for goodness' sake! When we take a lunch break, it's to have a pleasant time. What a shame!!

13/09/2025: A pleasant surprise. Welcome with a smile, and on the plate: local flavors beautifully showcased, especially if you like meat. The setting and garden are pleasant. The starter was more than adequate. We will gladly return.

07/09/2025: The welcome was not very warm, it's not ideal for large families. We didn't even have time to settle in before we already wanted to leave.

26/10/2024: Classic tourist trap. More expensive than a Parisian café, even though it's already pretty good there. 5€ for a simple Coke is still nice. I'm not even talking about the rest and especially the dishes. I will never go back there, that's for sure.

17/01/2026: Shameful! I arrived at 8:30 PM and there were no burgers. The Big Tasty without sauce isn't a Big Tasty at all! The steak was mushy and bland! It doesn't make sense! It's not even as good as the one from Saint-Lô!

13/01/2026: McDonald's is ridiculously expensive compared to other places in the area, not much choice, and some weird deals like the CBO which is only available as a regular meal but not as a Golden. Anyway, I went to Bchef which was much better.

05/07/2025: Delicious salads and galettes. and open a bit later for serving food than others in the area. (Lunch time). Very happy that we stopped - and I don’t think that’s the wine speaking 😉

17/09/2025: Unfortunately, it's no longer possible to serve smaller quantities, whereas they used to... It's a shame, but if the tourists are happy, so much the better. There are cheaper options, especially ice cream.

06/12/2025: Passing through Deauville, we were looking for a restaurant that wouldn't break the bank, which isn't easy in this town. We ordered pizzas, which were good but not excellent (probably a matter of personal taste). The service was quick, efficient, and very professional. The only downside was that the tables were (very) close together; you clearly couldn't have a conversation without your neighbors joining in. Perhaps some people like this aspect, which could be seen as "convivial," but it wasn't for us.

06/12/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance. I had pizza (sicilienne). It was delicious. It would have been even better if the olives weren't so salty. I loved the mousse au chocolat. I'll be back to try different flavors.

29/11/2025: A tourist trap. It's mass-produced pastries, three times more expensive than elsewhere. Absolutely avoid it.

21/01/2026: Hello, I would have preferred to give you a good rating, but the point is to encourage you to reflect on your practices. My review is based on a visit to your establishment on January 21st at 8:30 PM. But if you don't take action very soon, the sign will disappear. You have a superb location. You have plenty of seating. The restaurant is empty. It's a little cold inside. The music is a bit loud. There's no visibility from the parking lot; you're set back, you're in the dark, all you can see is McDonald's, you have to look for it. Only a few appetizers remain, and they don't exactly excite the taste buds! Cheeses OK A few meager desserts But the main course is where things go downhill No emphasis on choices, No whole cuts of beef Only ground beef No origin indicated, so I suppose it's better not to know Service is fast, no complaints there, but it's cold, a 1.5-minute microwave is mandatory Taste-wise, I won't even go there, but that's somewhat expected in this type of institutional catering The ambiance and atmosphere need a lot of work Equipment-wise, there are no outlets for charging phones Currently, 50% of the tables should be equipped with USB ports or even induction chargers. On the plus side, the lighting is relatively soft and quite suitable I'm sorry to be so picky. Admittedly, I'm a demanding traditionalist, but if you continue like this, you're doomed. That's predictable!

04/01/2026: We came to try out a Too Good To Go, and the lady was very kind. Everything that was left was available for us and another couple. I think it's a real shame to throw away good things, and it's not at all eco-friendly, so this concept is fantastic! Plus, the instructions are crystal clear: bring your own containers. And a little tip: bring several (or even lots)!!! Thank you for this concept 💜🫶

23/09/2024: A mythical, exceptional sole (a little expensive qd mm despite the exceptional.. 60€) which barely overshadows the other tasty dishes, it is in Normandy and the cream flows generously...hummm
