Very nice terrace facing the sea. Excellent service.
We had two plates of seafood and two servings of fries on the advice of the waitress... we didn't regret it!
Hearty even for 4!

10/09/2024: Nous avons mangé le menu du midi qui était ma foi assez bon.
Petit bémol sur les légumes qui auraient pu être mieux présentés et mieux garnis, mais après tout, avec un menu, on sait que les quantités sont limitées. Le millefeuille praliné avait beaucoup plus un goût de caramel que de praliné, mais il était quand même relativement bon malgré tout. Vu le nombre d'attrape-touristes dans le coin, je trouve qu'on s'en est pas trop mal sortis.
Juste une petite remarque. Quand on prend un vin au verre à 11,70 €, j'aimerais qu'on me le serve devant moi plutôt que de me ramener un verre déjà rempli. Le vin était bon, mais rien ne me dit que c'était celui que j'avais commandé, d'où ma réflexion.

We all ordered different courses and everyone was satisfied. Perfect from starters to desserts.
We warmly recommend and for sure will come back.

A place for sharing, meeting and surprise, without forgetting tasting, because of course the superb VB team is there to help us discover quality products, from wine to beer and certain spirits. They are real specialists, you can trust them in the choice of your bottles.
Don’t hesitate to discover good beers at the bar, with a sausage or an aperitif board.
It’s a very friendly and family-friendly place where you won’t see the time passing by.

06/07/2024: We happened upon this little gem after leaving the D Day Wings Museum. Please stop in!! It was sooooo good! We opted for the app, main course and dessert option for $18.50 Euros. I had the whelks, chicken risotto and crème brûlée while my husband had the charcuterie, hamburger and fries and chocolate mousse! All of it was absolutely delicious and the staff were fabulous!!! We chose to sit out on the patio as there was finally sun but they had lots of nice indoor seating as well! This was an excellent find and we 100% recommend!
02/07/2024: Arriving without a reservation, we were lucky a place became available! Very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, friendly atmosphere.
(Remember to book to be sure of having a place ;))

13/09/2024: Stop at the Abri Côtier during our motorcycle trip. Meals possible indoors and outdoors. Friendly welcome and although we had to wait a bit, we arrived late, the service was excellent.

Varieties in the dish of the day (beef, pork, fish, hot and cold) as well as side dishes (fries, salad, rice, beans, tomatoes, etc.)
Lots of choice in the buffets of homemade starters and desserts (there is also cheese)
Great quality/quantity/price ratio (very difficult to find today...)
Pleasant service, warm welcome!

25/11/2024: Came on a Saturday evening in November, sharing a meal with my teenager.
As usual, we are very well received, we eat very well, quickly.
(it was even a little too fast, but it's true that we eat rather quickly).
The profiteroles were just magnificent!
Nice and good portion!
It's fresh, it's well done, we enjoy coming here!

Quite a wait, a little too much, too much since my husband's dish was forgotten.
What is difficult to forgive is that the little waiter maintains that we did not order before the management realized that it was a mistake... after 1h30 we preferred to leave

Je connais beaucoup de monde sur Caen, et je vais dire à tout le monde de ne jamais aller dans ce restaurant. Un des serveurs est un nullard !!! ( les autres : ça va ). Et le patron doit avoir des origines écossaises ou hollandaises, car il fait payer toutes les petites choses que vous demandez en plus. Un petit peu d'huile d'olive sur la pizza : il fait payer, etc etc !!!
23/10/2024: Teníamos calzone que estaba bien. Lo he pasado mejor.
El servicio era deficiente. Quentin, el servidor, no le gustan los clientes de habla inglesa y favoreció a los franceses en orden de servicio e hizo lo mínimo para cualquier comensal de habla inglesa. No impresionado. No volveré a visitar este establecimiento. No se entregaron bebidas. Los vasos no fueron entregados. Muy mal servicio. Actitud extremadamente pobre.

16/11/2024: We had a great culinary time in this restaurant. Excellent pizza and just as excellent homemade nougat (nougat and tiramisu).
I highly recommend. Only point of improvement in my opinion - the decor of the room which lacks a little style.

J'y suis allée 2 fois pour petit-déjeuner. Café latte vraiment très bon. J'ai aussi goûté le fromage blanc et le gâteau Normand. Très bon. Tarifs raisonnable. Accueil très agréable.
13/08/2024: L’endroit parfait pour déjeuner en famille à Trouville. Des produits sains, un endroit accueillant et un personnel aux petits soins. Il y a des pâtes au fromage pour les enfants et les parents mangent de bonnes salades, quiches etc. Prix raisonnables. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment hier bon midi en famille.
