24/06/2026: The prawn risotto daily special was excellent. Attentive and friendly staff.

23/06/2026: We ordered two set menus at €34.90 each. The foie gras was good but served with stale, untoasted rice. The rice was overcooked and watery, like mush. The tarte tatin dessert had undercooked pastry, and the profiteroles were extremely dry, as if dehydrated. I will never go back. The waitress was very professional.

09/04/2026: Excellent meal, customized to accommodate dietary restrictions. Perfect welcome and staff who went above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: A great overnight stay with incredible value for money. The rooms are clean, though could use some soundproofing. The meals are excellent, very generous and varied. There's something for everyone. Breakfast is simple but sufficient.

30/06/2026: Having recently moved to St-Aubin, I've been there twice. The pizzas are excellent, the pizza maker is friendly, and the saleswoman is radiant!

27/06/2026: The pizza was good but not very filling. Beware, the price shown online is not the current price! Frozen fries for €8, lol... Even if it's a large tray, at that price, making homemade fries would have been more reasonable.

06/06/2026: I come to this restaurant regularly for their bubble tea, and I've never been disappointed. They have a wide selection of bubble teas, all equally delicious. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. It's truly a pleasure to receive such warm service. I haven't tried their other dishes yet, but at first glance, they look absolutely excellent, and frankly, the prices aren't excessive. I highly recommend this restaurant! 👍👍

05/06/2026: Good, but the quantities are becoming increasingly limited.

29/04/2026: We came to eat, and the meal was fine. However, during our aperitif, we found a cigarette butt in a bowl of peanuts. When we mentioned it to the person serving, they offered us a drink as an apology. I think that's very inappropriate for this kind of thing. When I asked how it was possible to find a cigarette butt in the peanuts, they couldn't answer me, so I suppose the small bowls of peanuts that aren't eaten by customers are put back in a larger bowl for the next customers. So, be careful when eating your peanuts and check that there aren't any cigarette butts in them. Sincerely

24/04/2026: Disappointed with the quality and quantity, especially for the price paid, I regretted not going to another restaurant nearby on a Saturday. I ordered a Savoyard fondue, and the plate contained only one slice of cured ham and a few lettuce leaves, along with some bread and potatoes, but not enough for two people.

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed with the mussels and fries... tiny, shriveled, tasteless... despite our dissatisfaction, the owner offered no compensation... we will not be returning.

13/05/2026: My partner and I just had lunch at Café de France. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and the waiter was very friendly. We were in a hurry to leave before the gates of our accommodation closed. So we didn't have time to say goodbye to the waiter. We're doing so now through this review. We highly recommend this welcoming restaurant.

30/05/2026: A welcome we could have done without... After calling to order 7 pizzas from the Santa Fé pizzeria in Merville-Franceville and being told there would be a 1.5-hour wait, we arrived at the restaurant on time. When we got there, the waiter told us they were 30 minutes late... so we waited, but hearing the pizza chef (the restaurant owner) mutter under his breath that we should have called at 6 PM to order 7 pizzas was a real slap in the face. 30 minutes later, the pizzas were ready. We told the waiter that it would have been nice if he'd called to let us know about the delay, and that we needed to call at 6 PM to order 7 pizzas was unacceptable. We turned on our heels after paying and heard the owner's final, unwelcome remark: "Next time they should just go to McDonald's." This unimaginable scene is unacceptable. One piece of advice: Run!

12/12/2025: A beautiful holiday village, especially for families with children, with a huge indoor play area and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, even in winter. A paradise for children. Ideal for those who love the countryside and peace and quiet.

05/12/2025: Romantic weekend getaway, lovely little house, the residence is quiet. The water park is very nice, the water is nice and warm, ideal for relaxing.

23/06/2026: Very friendly and helpful staff, except the miserable woman on the tills. Even other till operators laughed when I pulled a face. Won't put me off as this was a fabulous store, very well laid out and cool inside

19/06/2026: Very disappointed with my visit to Intermarché today. The cashier I dealt with was particularly unpleasant, a real old hag, and showed a clear lack of courtesy. A minimum of respect for customers should be the foundation of customer service. It's a shame, because it completely ruins the shopping experience. I hope management will pay more attention to customer service in the future. PLEASE, THEY SHOULD RECRUIT YOUNG PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE COURTEOUS.

04/12/2025: Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

01/12/2025: Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)

15/04/2026: I had it delivered. The burger was good, but more importantly, the ingredients were high quality. That's rare enough to be worth mentioning.

21/05/2026: I've eaten at your establishment three times since the reopening. It's better to eat upstairs than on the raised terrace, because on the raised terrace the food arrives cold, which isn't pleasant. Upstairs, however, it's perfect. To put it another way, the food could be cooked a little more thoroughly.

20/05/2026: Nice restaurant, unfortunately the food tastes of almost nothing. It's a shame it's also a bit pricey.
