28/05/2026: We had lunch here after visiting Falaise castle. I had a gallette with eggs, cheese and ham. My wife had one with just egg and ham, and our son had chicken nuggets and chips, which he described as as good as the ones from Blacksmith Arms (his favourite place for chicken nuggets). The gallette was delicious and the service was great too. There's an outdoors seating area, though we chose to sit indoors with A/C instead of out in the heat. Can highly recommend a lunch here.

24/05/2026: The manager was very unpleasant and refused us entry to the terrace, even though it was half empty. The other customers who were seated were just as surprised as we were. Judging by other comments about the owner, we're not the first. P.S. in response: I note that your comment, signed "the unfriendly one," was also very predictable 😊

24/04/2026: For me, a morning coffee break is essential; I'm always received with great kindness and hospitality.

13/05/2026: I just stopped for a quick coffee, the atmosphere was very welcoming, nice interior decoration. Wifi available.

27/04/2026: Neighborhood snacks/salads. The decor is a bit kitschy as you walk by. But you can't judge a book by its cover. It can be very good for not much money. I had a coffee, which was good, and a slice of flan—excuse the understatement—at €2.80 a slice, mind you. The flan was far from "substantial" compared to local bakeries where they're homemade, more substantial, and cheaper. €2.80 for a cookie, or a small piece of brownie, etc.—the price itself isn't so shocking. The quantity for the price is more than excessive, especially if it's not homemade.

21/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery this tea room is! The place is very welcoming and has a lovely terrace; the coffee is good, as are the homemade treats (ah, that apple tart!!). The welcome and service were very friendly. Well done and thank you!

08/04/2026: A charming little tea room in the heart of Caen. The owners are lovely and everything is delicious. However, it must be said that the prices are high. Nevertheless, I encourage you to come and discover this relaxing little haven, with its vintage decor reminiscent of our beloved grandmothers' tea rooms!

07/05/2026: Delivered via Uber Eats. Bland dishes, pork spring rolls with a greasy taste, shrimp ravioli that were mostly dough with very little filling, overcooked and tasteless shrimp dumplings, dry and flavorless samosas... far too expensive for what it was... I won't be repeating the experience and won't be trying the restaurant in person given their low standards for delivery orders. Avoid at all costs

28/05/2026: Very good restaurant with spacious parking, and the food is good and plentiful.

26/05/2026: Customer service in a store is not optional!! It's one of the main reasons I don't go anymore. The second is the wait time: 15 minutes to get pre-cooked meat and fries is unacceptable. I'm worried about you after the upcoming opening of the new Burger King, a word to the wise! Customer service, customer service, and more customer service. And that doesn't cost anything!

04/04/2026: While the products are very good, the Caen store is rather small, making it difficult to move around when there are several customers. It's very unpleasant to be told "can I help you?" after only five seconds in the store.

10/03/2026: Absolutely beautiful chocolate creations here! I had to find one that wouldn't break in my suitcase. The wonderful employee wrapped my chocolate so it would be safe. Thank you! Incredibly reasonable prices... The sculptures would be 10x the price in the USA.

20/04/2026: Perfect! We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The onion and bacon fondue was excellent, as were the cocktails and dessert. The servers were very pleasant!
